So I just picked up the phone today, flashed CWM then did a backup of my stock unrooted Rogers rom. After trying out the AT&T rooted rom I tried restoring back to the unrooted rogers rom but I get "MD5 mismatch!" error in CWM. I've been looking around but I can't seem to find anybody's unrooted rogers rom, if someone could please post theirs that would be awesome!

Hi all,
I am sending my GS2 back to Telus tomorrow due to the lines in the screen, but I want to get rid of CWM recovery so they won't know I had it rooted. I flashed the default T-Mobile recovery onto it but unfortunately when I boot into recovery it now has the T-Mobile logo.
Could anyone please post the Telus stock recovery to flash via Odin? I can't be the only one in this situation, posting it would be really helpful.
Thanks guys
it's in the sticky, check the index, you just Odin it back to stock
I can't believe I missed that! Thanks
Could some kind person possibly back up and upload their stock rooted Rogers ROM and the CIQ-free rogers kernel in a CWM flashable format? I'm having some issues with a custom ROM, and I don't actually own a Windows PC to use ODIN to flash back to the the rooted rogers rom in the 'How to root your captivate glide' thread, so I'd really like to be able to use CWM to get back to stock to see if the issue is my phone, my kernel, or the rom.
Edit: I tried Heimdall, but it just constantly 'Fails to initialise protocol!' on me, so that's a no go.

I'm trying to flash the stock Fido i747M rooted rom on a AT&T i747 device, but I continuously get a "FAIL!" message in Odin, and a "SECURE CHECK FAIL : sbl2" message on the phone.
I was able to successfully flash an AT&T rooted stock rom from the same thread, but the Fido file keeps failing.
Thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1739426
Any ideas?
Currently rooted, running the AT&T stock rom.

Why not just flash at&t rooted stock in Odin then download what ever ROM you want on it ?
Sorry for the n00b question guys, I recently dropped Virgin Mobile and my Evo 3D for T-Mobile Galaxy S2. I successfully rooted the stock 4.0.4 rom, but then I downloaded the 4.1.2 rom and flashed through Odin. I also pushed the TWRP recovery and then pushed the SuperUser w/ BusyBox zip file and (from what I read) it said that should be rooted after my phone rebooted. No luck. If anyone has successfully rooted the stock 4.1.2 rom, please tell me the steps you used to do it. Sorry if I seem demanding, I'm just curious of why I wasn't successful.
When I rooted the 4.0.4, I used TB and debloated the whole rom and I figured everything would stay the same after I updated, I was wrong.
There's a guide that shows how to do it.
Here is the link. Rushing is a nice guy and can answer your questions.

I rooted my phone then used CWM RomManager to make a backup image of the rooted stock rom. Then put KitKat on the phone. Since then I have restored the Rooted stock Rom. Now every time the phone boots I get the Upgrading Android message and the phone is kind of buggy. I am having trouble finding instructions anywhere on how to get it back to complete stock. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Thanks
What stock AT&T rom were you running when you created the backup?
Oh I guess I should have mentioned that huh.. it was 4.3
Have you tried flashing the 4.3 update.zip file you can find in the developers forum here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387423.
I feel like you ought to be able to copy the 4.3 zip file to your SD Card and flash via recovery and it should work, although I haven't tried it so I can't be sure.
