Is Krusell´s screen covers good quality or bad? I have never had Krusell and wanted to know if anyone knows the brand or has used it. Im looking cover that is "invisible" and does not feel sticky when sliding finger on it. Also it should not be scratched by SPen
Any suqqestions if this is bad: http://cdon.fi/kotielektroniikka/krusell_screen_protector_galaxy_note-18660305

I'm getting my Tilt 2 in the mail in a few days. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good case that fits the Tilt 2. I've looked at some Touch Pro 2 cases, but I've heard the size and shape of the Tilt 2 is a bit different. I want a case that's functional and protects the phone, not just something I can pull it in and out of, but something that is custom fit to the functionality of the phone. I know it's still kind of early, but does any company's have a case yet for the Tilt 2?
I really want something like this, but have no idea where to find it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xmvd2Jy9Nes
I like that the plastic on that case covers and protects the keyboard. Has anyone seen a case like this available anywhere?
Also...looking for a screen/full body protector that fits or is made for the Tilt 2. I've heard Brando and Zaggs Invisible Shield are the way to go. Any recommendations as to which one I should choose?
I have this plastic (acrylic) case and kinda like it: http://www.wireless.att.com/cell-ph...060235&q_manufacturer=htc&q_model=prod4000225. The nice thing about it is that you can still slide the keyboard open and it holds securely. And sliding the keyboard open is much easier than fumbling around with a snap to do so.
My only gripe is that dust and pocket lint gets between the screen and the screen protector requiring removal of the screen protector (just snaps off) for cleaning. Also, it requires a harder press for the touchscreen to register.
Also, you have to wait for awhile after cleaning the screen and inside of the screen protector with a microfiber cloth (like a lens or glasses cloth) before putting it back on. Otherwise, there's kind of an oily film that appears on the underside of the screen protector.
I've been thinking about applying the stick-on screen protector that's included and seeing if the touchscreen will work under 2 layers of protection. If not, I might cut the protector out of the case with an xacto knife to keep the plastic protection.

You know, there's a whole subforum on Rhodium Accessories where this stuff is being discussed... where questions similar to yours are answered.
Buddy of mine picked up a cheap case and screen protector combo off Ebay and the case looks sweet as it doesn't hide the phone like most cases but the camera lens isn't protected as it protrudes through the back cutout. My main concern is the camera lens. Has anyone come across a clear case whose back side cut out hole allows the camera lens to remain recessed inside the case?
Ideally i think everyone would love to find a case with a retractable back window for the camera.
I don't know who makes my case. I got it at best buy. I can lay the camera down on any surface without worrying about the lens. Having it roll around in your pocket with your keys is another story so I'm still careful with it but i was hoping to find a new case that retains some of the Evo's good looks.
On a side note, has any case manufacturer engineered a solution to this problem yet?

As far as I know there aren't any cases that protect the camera. One suggestion was to cut a cheap screen protector to go over the lens.
Posted via XDA Android app from Evo
Right but my existing case protects the camera somewhat because the camera isn't sticking out of the case. Smart design. Wondering if there was a similar clear case on the market.

I currently have a hard silicone back cover case on my phone but it becomes extremely slippery if I don't continuously wash it.
The back is completely smooth and I am terrified of dropping it.
I need to find a case that actually has a texture or some form of grip and keeping it under $20.
Otterbox Impact Case looks awesome, but I haven't found any good feedback on if its made from silicone that looses grip and goes slippery.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.
Amzer jelly case. Lots of colors, terrific feel, padded corners, textured grip area, good lens protection, and so cheap on eBay you can get them for less than burgers. And if you're someone who swaps out batteries, or has a car or desk dock that wants a naked phone, they're easily removable.
Thank you for the reply.
I've had silicone cases that would lift up when ever you would slide to one side or the other.
How are the edges on the sides of the screen?
Also, anyone know how the otterbox impact cars are?
Sent from my HTC Evo via the XDA app.
The Amzer just barely wraps over the sides of front face of the screen, maybe 3/32". The bottom comes up about an eighth, and the top is cut out to clear the light sensor, speaker and front camera. I've not had issues at the edges, but I can't say if that's how I use it.
I don't think the Otterbox is in anyone's hands yet.

Alright, thanks for the info.
I am terrified of the sides being lose enough for anything to slide between them and my phone and cause my phone some damage.
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUT8179c2lc - at ~1:20 you an see the sides of this case being crazy loose)
I was hoping someone that had an otterbox impact on a similar phone would have a comment on if the cases texture or fit was an issue.
Thanks again.

The Amzer isn't as thin. I've not had the pull-away issues, but then, I won't carry a glass phone in a pants pocket, either. I usually carry mine in my shirt pocket.

Looks like they're going for about eight bucks on eBay, including shipping.
Hi again,
I added grip tape (left over from a skateboard deck) to my current case...lol.
It serves its purpose very well, but looks awful.
I have a chance to get the Platinum Case (Best Buy) for $10.
Anyone have any comments on this one?
Does it go slippery or feel like it could slip out of your hands?
EDIT: I just bought the case. I read some good reviews on it... guess I'll see once it arrives.
Hi all,
I'm into photography and the lens is one of the most precious component in my galaxy note.
Has anyone came across a case/battery case/add-on that has a lens cover? I'm particulary after a sliding lens cover. I don't really want to put screen protector in front of the lens as it'll affect photo quality.
If you've seen any.. please provide links.. thanks
FYI, I've googled.. with no luck
cheers
Lens protector
Here's my solution. Might not be the prettiest. If you find a circular piece of rubbery sticker or something simmilar it might be even better. Doesn't even need to be this thick. Doesn't even need to be out of rubber. I just like the extra friction when I lay my phone on the desk.
I hated the idea, that the phone rests on the lens when I put it down.
What do you think?
I found similar solution like @vgergo but you dont need to destroy battery cover. I ordered leather back battery cover from ebay, it is a bit ticker than original one and it provides arround 1mm edge arround lens so it is protected when putting your phone down. Back is nice finnished and it fits as it should so I can reccomend it.
Just want to know from you guys experience.
Who makes the best cases/covers/shells for samsung?
And if any of you are using cases/shells/covers, which are you using? Would you recomend?
What are your experiences?
I'm not really a fan of the flipcases
Thanks
If you are on a high budget, you could look at the Impact-absorbing Tech21 cases.
Those are of high build quality.
I recently got a casemate tough case for my sgs4 mini and I am very pleased with it, both handling-wise and in terms of general ruggedness.
Did anyone get a screen protector? I loved the exim ultraprotect on my old nokia, but the s4 mini is my first phone with a capacitive touch screen and I am unsure if a screen protector will hurt its responsiveness.
I got a screen protector applied the moment I unpackaged my phone at the shop. They applied a Screenguard branded clear (non-matte) screen protector and responsiveness hasn't been an issue in the 4 weeks I've had the phone.
This screen protector ($4) is a fingerprint magnet though, but it has perfect cut-outs for the light, proximity sensors and front - facing camera as well as the home button.
Case
I just bought a Belkin case named "Grip Sheer Matte" in a blackish-brownish transparent tone for the black S4m (ha! SAM!).
It was 12€ in an electronics store here in .de but you can probably get it cheaper online (see link).
I like the soft and smooth feel. The case fits quite good and protects the back and all edges. The ports and buttons are accessible and the holes on the back for camera and speaker are in the right places.
Cheers,
CS
I bought the original Samsung Flip Cover with view... I think its the best but it was not cheap.
Just got a Samsung Flip Cover without view (which replaces the back cover). After using a ROCK flip case, a MERCURY Fancy Diary flip case and a simple metallic-red non-flip case, the Samsung Flip Cover seems to do its job best. The cover is heavy enough to hold itself down when the phone is facing up, and folds behind nicely such that it is comfortable to hold.
What's the point of having such a small metal bumper? In case of a drop it won't absorb any energy ...
Its probably to protect the original metal rim against scratches and bumps. Good for maintaining the resale value! (The screen protector will protect the front, and the back cover is replaceable)
damn.. i want those pretty and sturdy cases from otterbox, uag, spigen etc
Does the S-View cover also protect the edges?
After almost 2 months I notice that I already have a couple of bumps right on the edge of the screen. I don't want to buy a thick shell since I bought the Mini exactly because of the sleaziness and the S-view looks quite nice..

No. The S-View cover replaces your back cover of the phone. Thus it only protects the back. The sides are exposed except for the left side of the phone where the cover flips over the phone.

For me the ideal would be a bumper, so that the edges are protected and I'm not carrying around a brick. I'll keep on duckduckgoing and see what I can find..
I've been looking for a decent rubber bumper as well. I've only seen a metal one with a weird branding on the side. Do post here if you manage to find one!

I found this one here, http://www.mobilefun.com/40209-flexiframe-samsung-galaxy-s4-mini-bumper-case---black-clear.htm but I might actually get an official samsung case, it looks quite nice: http://www.samsung.com/se/consumer/mobil/mobil/mobiltillbehor/EF-PI919BNEGWW-gallery?subsubtype=bags

Will a rubber bumper protect against a drop (say, from table height)? Will the S-view cover protect against a drop?
I wouldn't be bothered by scratch or bumps on the plastic housing. Mainly looking for protection against the screen/digitizer/glass breaking from a fall.
I bought this one.
Fits tightly around the S4 mini and does not add any bulk. The phone still looks very slim and small. Material is of good scratch resistance but probably not a real bumper. It's slightly transparent, so the Samsung logo and the silver pattern of the back cover shines through a bit. Really looks good.

It kind a looks like the "Flexiframe" from mobilefun and for the price you can't go wrong.

I just received the same case and it is better than expected. Took less than a week from Germany to UK and less than 10 GBP Inc postage.
This case is so small and thin that it doesn't alter the feel of the phone apart from the texture. It'sthin enough to fit in my S2 desktop charger/dock and also my windscreen mount with the case on.
I ordered the following in blue/black. It looks somewhat...different! I hope it's not too much when I put it on the phone. It came to six euros which is reasonable. I'll post my impressions when it arrives.
