[Q] Bluetooth not working...help - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I'm a new member and I cant post this question directly to the developers thread.
I have the latest update of JJHybrid rom (5/18) with an ics kernell instaled. Everything works just fine but the bluetooth i tried to pair with my car and it just wont do it.
I have arc s (Lt18a)

What kernel do you use?
Try flashing the respective modules for the kernel,
They will be available in their respective kernel threads

[Q] new Kernel vs stock

Hello, I'm new to the custom kernel and ROMs. Been looking to install new ROM to my arc s with the loop device ability to install UBUNTU. which one should I pick ( doomkernel or CM7 or another one ).
Now - what is the difference between the stock and those two? Would I lose something and the most important thing - can I go back to the stock kernel and how exactly?
Now before ou ask me to google it or search your forum - I've been googling and searching the forum but can't find explicit answers to those 2 questions so I will be grateful for any explanation.
Thanks,
Romand
You get oc and more without losing anything.

Xperia Index
Hi!!! There's a thread in dev's section, it's call "Xperia Play Index" in there you will find almost every Rom, Kernel and Firmware, it was updated recently, you should start looking there...
It's my first post, so I don't know if I can post links, anyway, this is...

kernel for paranoid 3.99 for n7000

hey guys..new to this website nd flashin new roms.. currently using paranoid 3.99 for my n7000..just wanted to know what kernel should i use with this ROM for a better performance..?? and how to flash the same..sorry for the noob question bt seriously new to these stuff..
thnk yu..
Kernel choice is up to the user... any AOSP based kernel for your device will work with the ROM. You can make a decision by searching the various kernel threads in your device forum, they should also contain information on flashing. In general you flash the kernel via recovery the same way you flash a ROM (kernels must be flashed after flashing a ROM however, else the ROM will overwrite the custom kernel with it's own).

[KERNEL][I9195][Stock JB/KK] brisK v2 (+ drain-patches)

Hi all,
i tried to install a [KERNEL][I9195][Stock JB/KK] brisK v2 (+ drain-patches) into my i9195 lte with CM11 snapshot 9
but phone do not work... an error like "com.android" was reported
any solution ?
tnk :cyclops:
I suggest you post this in the proper kernel thread.
This kernel is meant for stock roms only (as stated in the thread title...)
I'm surprised that the system booted up^^
Yes the kernel you mentioned is meant for Stock Rom and not CM.

[Q] inter-ROM Kernel Compatibility

Good Day to you all!
As the thread title states, provided that I'm going to use the same Android version (4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4,...)is it possible that kernels can be installed across different ROMs?
I ask this because I'm planning to use the latest LX CM11 kernel on other 4.4.4 ROMs available in the development forums, the problem though is its modules and its overall compatibility with other ROMs.
Sorry I had to post this here because I still have 4 more posts to make before I'll be allowed to make posts on specific threads other than the Q&A section.
Thanks in advance!
