[Q] Which ROM for Arc S has slide down bar? - Xperia Arc Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I'm looking for good ROM which has slide down bar (where you can switch on wi fi, bt, gprs data etc.).
Also should be optimised for better battery life.
My phone is Arc S LT18i.
What could you recommend?

Every modded ICS has this. For more control and rethinked UI look at AOKP versions.

[Q] Changing the notification bar look and feel?

Prolly a silly noob question, but is there a ROM/kernel that changes how the signal bars and icons look? When i'm in 4G mode, I like how the official 4G LTE logo comes on (a la HTC Thundebolt).
On my DInc I was using Cyanogen 7 and had custom Notification Bar Icons. I'd imagine Cyanogen 9 will natively support that and it's coming soon. I'm still too cautious to try any other ROMs yet.
Yes I would like to change the symbols too. The default GNex ones are not good. I prefer the Motorola ones.

Click to collapse
You can change them yourself by editing images within your SystemUI apk.

[REQ] Transparent Notification Bar

Hi!
I'm running the latest Sony ICS Beta and it is really really great, Thanks Devs!
I would like to have a fully transparent notification bar (not the whole drop down panel only the vertical part where data icons are displayed). It seems it's already a little (very little) transparent in this rom.
Could someone help ? I searched for solutions but I didn't find anything I could do with my actual knowledge
Thanks again!
Well since there is little chance they would do that to the Rom, I suggest using the app called statusbar+ it makes your notification Bar look like windows phone 7 (which has transparent background)
Btw isn't the notification bar horizontal? Lol

You could always try making your own
Try MIUI V4 it's ICS version.
MIUI is a whole different experience specially the GB version

[Q] Custom battery icon

I am sung the Liquid 2.0 RC9 on my galaxy nexus, but I haven't been ordained to post in that forum, and I have a question that isn't answered in my recent searches. I am trying to use a custom battery icon and I cannot find a way. It allows selection of 1 of 6 options, none of which appeal to me. I tried to use JRummy's Rom Toolbox Pro to load a battery icon, but it doesn't seem to take. Any advice, short of changing roms?
The Toolbox probably replaces stock battery icons. So go back to the stock icons in Liquid's options. If that doesn't work, just cycle between the 6, and see if one of those got changed.
Try Tickle My Android. It has a LOT of icons to choose from.

Battery percentage in status bar

I was wondering how I can get the stock battery percentage next to the battery logo like the Xperia T and Xperia Z in the status bar. I am running firmware 6.1.A.2.45 rooted. (Download a battery app will be the wrong answer)

Go to themes and apps section search for mod you like the most, folow instructions, youll probablly need CWM or root explorer to flash or aply the mod,
No battery apps
Search more you will get the answers easily.

I've used Notification Toggle from Google Play.
No root required and it gives a raft of other features (which include battery temp and battery percent) that make environment changes that much easier.
It's not a resource hog and I've not seen it use much more than 0.0% of the battery. It is not a static service (my pet hate) and so uses minimal resources.
If you're using stock-ish XPERIA LT26i fw and don't already have a switcher, it really is quite a boon.

Status bar problem

Hi i have a sony xperia z5 premium and whenever i connect to the internet and use an app my status bar keeps going up and down every 5 seconds please help
Wow..
What is the specs of your phone, android version, stock/custom kernel etc. ?
Sounds like systemui is crashing.
Have you rooted or you're still running stock? Using any modifications, like xposed?
