Hi guyz! So I have a bricked phone
Can I restore bootloader? If yes how do that?
I do not know what was the problem, but when flashing through my recovery, he wrote that all great flashing, rebooted the phone and the longer I have it not turn on. Does anyone know how to restore it is not Taking the service center?
did you try to flash RUU from your region via Fastboot ?
but how I do that?
I can't turn on the phone!
I can't use CWM, nothing not working!
I think the only possible way out is the service center.
We now have a Q&A section. Please post all questions in that section. Thank You.

Q3:what?
Q4:It can be done, thats what i meant by stock nandroid backup
can you upload you're nandroid backup ronnieryan?
about the q3. what i mean is "hindi alam ng kies kung anu ang firmware na ginagamit ko at ayaw niyang mag search sa latest update."
1. you can get one from sammobile.com. it can't be flashed via odin and considered useless anyway.
2. the most easiest way, flash it via odin.
3. it seems that you've installed custom ROM. please check your bin counter, if its >0 your kies will never update your firmware.
4. yes.
search before post please...
You obviously havent read the Operation Iron Fist thread, and so assume that I will allow this thread to be open?
This is not a noob feeding ground, you MUST search and post questions in the FAQ thread.

Hi,
i'm a big noob in rooting and installing custom roms on s3, and i've tried to instal CM10 on my S3 (SGH-1747M with telus) and i've tried to unlock my bootloader with ez-unlock, but i thing that it kill me. Now, after a reboot i can't open it (won't turn on) but when i plug my s3 in a usb port, its recognized like "QHSUSB_DLOAD". It is a hard brick or soft brick? Can i fix it?
Thanks for future answer ans sorry for my really bad english.
Cordially,
Baskwo
Have you tried rebooting into recovery yet?

If you can enter download mode (volume down + power + home button) try to flash a stock ROM.
List here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1968625
Thanks for your quick answers
I've tried to enter in download mode or recovery mode but nothing, my s3 do nothing.
Looking at this thread;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1984159
Looks like it's hard bricked, unfortunately.
Don't think this is recoverable but still may be possible with a USB jig or fastboot. Also I've heard of JTAG but I believe it's more of a hardware mod.
I haven't looked into it though.
Sorry.
Crap, i think i could send it to reparation (I got it for 1 month almost). Maybe if its hard brick, they couldn't see the custom binaries so i could get a new one.
If it's under one month you could probably return the phone for DOA at the place of purchase or cancel and start a new contract.
You most definately bricked. Verizons leaked bootloader will brick a non vzw phone. You will need jtag. a jig wont work. Here the jtag process. Send it to these guys

I kinda got confused yesterday between using updated T999 bootloaders or update I747 bootloaders because I had re ODIN'ed my my whole phone via Samsung Provided Bins and that bin contained T999 bootloaders and modem that worked and booted properly on my I747 without any problems. Thing is I decided to update that bootloader and modem to the newest version for T999 which in turn caused my dead GS3. So I'm guessing the problem would be a corrupted bootloader? I have the MSM8960 hex and the MSM8960 BIN, but when I try to program these to my SG3 which is in QHUSB mode, it says the "Cookie (If Present) not received error (QPST 2.7 Build 402). I've been up studying partitions etc etc but I just can't seem to do it. I think I need the partition_boot.xml and the rawprogram0.xml and or patch0.xml IF those were needed (I'm kinda glitchy right now, no sleep -_-) all I need to do is get my phone into regular odin mode so I can flash all the files back to my baby again (Dropbox 50GB +Nandroid TWRP FTW) (And by files, I mean the proper CSC, Bootloaders, Modem, Platform and Partition files I got from Samsung for my unlocked and modded S3.
I'll add the attachments I've used up until now, Including the odin files I've used for turning my phone into an T999 (Should NEVER update that Bootloader with a new T999 one, just a new I747 one LESSON LEARNED)
Dropbox :http://www.dropbox.com/sh/9hpjjj95dtxxx74/acPHV3XqL_
T999_UVDMD5_firmware_v4 is what bricked my phone, I have the flash the files inside this shared dropbox folder (Also in the BOOTLOADER zip of course, before I can get her running again.
Any help getting to rewrite the bootloaders and or getting into ODIN mode? I'm bringing my phone back from hell, really, If I can manage to solve this problem as well, I want to make this into an AIO so everyone who went through the same mistake by off chance can fix this as well.
Any help would be appreciated, I would JTAG, but I don't have the money for it, they aren't hiring 17 year olds around state right now -_- So I guess this would be the opprotunity to help me further my tech knowledge ( I want to do Tech Development like this when I go to college in 2 years )
Thanks
Jtag is the only way I know of, if it's truly hard bricked.
Really?

I did alot of research and seen that it can possibly be done, but it shows up in QHUSB mode where I heard it's difficult, yet possible to fix, with a few file to make it boot as a USB drive

Thank you, I sort of considered it something to work on, instead of it being a question for me to ask, I see otherwise now.
Hi everyone,
I'm really desperate for any information that can help me. Please be kind here...I haven't done anything techy stuff like this before.
Here's the situation.
My phone was rooted with supersu since I got it (my colleague helped to do it), but due to an issue with my international roaming, I decided after 1 year to try and unroot and upgrade from 4.1.1 to 4.2/3
However, upon unrooting, i found that I could not upgrade due to the count and decided that I had to try and root it again to use triangle away.
Here is where it gets FUBAR.
I ran Odin and flashed the following:
I9305_CWM_Recovery.tar.md5
Samsung-Updates.com-KERNEL-GT-I9305-SIN-I9305XXBMB2-1359977044
My phone was still working then, but I wasn't too sure how to install the binary until many tries later ...
But somehow because I didn't know how to install the binary, I ran the "Auto Root": CF-Auto-Root-t03g-t03gxx-gtn7100.tar.md5
After which, my screen flashed blue ...
When it wouldn't boot up, I flashed:Samsung-Updates.com-KERNEL-GT-I9305-SIN-I9305XXBMB2-1359977044
And did a factory reset.
The hard and soft buttons are working, but the touch screen is dead. Thinking it was a OS issue, I flashed the stock rom: I9305XXALI9_I9305OLBALI8_I9305DXALI7_HOME.tar.md5 1.2Gb file
And right now, no change. Hard and Soft buttons working, touch screen is dead....
Anybody?

As long as something is working it is not bricked. A brick means completely dead, like a brick. Perhaps the ribbon cable came loose from the touchscreen.
This is the Sprint US variant S3 section. From everything you posted you have an International model. You are in the wrong section.

Or he has revealed the root cause of the problem, if he actually does have the Sprint version

I can't help you if you can't remember what you downloaded and flashed.

Plug onto the computer and open device manager, or look for the pop up window in the system tray. If it says Qhsusb or something to that effect, it's bricked.
More than likely you flashed a kernel for a different model.
There is a debrick thread in development section. You can try that, but no guarantees.
And a quick couple of things if I may. In the future read search read read read! You cannot just go blindly flashing the first cool thing you see. You need to learn what you are doing or be destined to repeat this mistake in the future.
And when requesting help (or creating a thread for any reason), please use a descriptive title.
And lastly, if you had taken the time to search and read, you probably would've found the debrick thread on your own and not even needed this. But also, you probably wouldn't have had the problem in the first place had you done so in the beginning. (And googling galaxy s3 kernel, doesn't count)

That's the thing my phone won't turn on and my laptop won't read it
Then all you can really do is try the debrick method. If that doesn't work it sounds like you'll have to take/send it to a shop for repair.

How much harder would it be if my phone was hard bricked?
I think it's either hard bricked or a hardware failure. If it's hardware you're definitely out of luck. If it's bricked, there's a chance, but no guarantees.
