BeastMod 2.1 vs Juggernaut 5.0 w/ streamline vs Bombaridier rom - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

BeastMod 2.1 vs Juggernaut 5.0 w/ streamline vs Bombaridier rom?
Which one do you prefer? The guy on galaxys2root says he gets a good 2 days of battery with beastmod 2.1 but i dont know what his settings are and how often he uses it...anyone tried this rom?

Beastmod2.1 is outdated. Go to rootzwiki.com and download beastmod5.0
This comparison is pointless thou. U should get darkside roms imho

Hey guys I ordered a gs2 and I'm coming from a g2x I'm just wondering what rom and kernel are you using? I just want a broad idea of what is very popular here. Ill eventually try them all but I want to start off with a very popular one.
If you're interested I'm on tsuigi rom and variation of faux kernel for g2x
I had the g2x on cm7 and fauxs cm kernel.
Now on this baby juggernaut with fauxs kernel.
Trust me... You will be satisfied. Check out. The various themes you can flash on as well.

eagles blood atm, 15hour moderate use(mostly browsing).. this is the most stable rom around here imo..i've tried bombaridier but that crashed my phone like 3times..
Came from the G2X and was running WeaponG2X before their ugly unicorn logo, lol.
Now I'm using BeastMod 4.0 with Fauxs' kernel .06. Great combo.
BUT all the roms we have are great, just try them all.
Powered by the SGSII....
Definitely use BeastMod 4.0 i came from a g2x also.

I tried Bombardier + synergy for a week and the battery life was not that good.
Now I'm on juggernaut + bullet and it is great!

Came from a G2x. Running Juggernaut with faux's kernel. Had also run Beastmod. Both were good but I like my current set up.

so according to everyone, the most popular roms are juggernaut and beast.
what made you choose one over the other?
+2 Juggernaut and Bullet!
Juggernaut is the only rom I flash. Kernel is faux latest beta kernel.

Flash -a-holic

So ive been bouncing around from rom to rom and I'm wondering wat rom is everyone using as a daily???? .. I'm a prime XL Guy and love tha rom as my daily but the battery life is way better on cm7 with tiamat or savaged ... trying to find the best rom/kernel combo for battery life... I love sense for the bells and whistles but love asop because of the battery life.... hmmmmm.. decisions decisions....

MIUI. It's pretty, has nice built in apps including an awesome theme manager (no social networking though, if you're into that), and you still get great battery life. It's not bloated, but I find it to be the intermediate between Sense and your typical AOSP roms. I've been running one version or another of it for almost a year.
Supersonic Evo 4G | MIUI | Tapatalk
My custom made cm7.2 kanged and compiled from source is my daily now, prior to that was my own modded version of decks 1.3 for sense mikg 3.0 or the classic and ics my compiled and frankensteined cm9 I have it on my evo and my kindle fire
We are legion, for we are many
I've been running the express beta for about a month now. Fast, relatively bug free, and I can get 2 full days out of my extended battery.
Edit: and it has 4G, wouldn't run a ROM without that...
Thanks for the replies.... I've tried the classic v005 and like it a lot... even tho its sense 1.0 it works.... was going to try the final RC mix rom from Jan 24th with the anthrax kernel v4 and see how it goes .. hopefully I get great performance as well as battery life.... since I'm a heavy user lol

EL29 Based Roms

What are some good EL29 based Roms im new to the galaxy s ii and just rooted it so I'm trying to be safe and stick to gingerbread Roms before I try anything like ICS. I am on Calkulin E4GT 3.0 now are there any other

Try out Blazer Rom.
I'm on the BLEND ROM and I love it, they're are tons of themes for it too, and several different versions so you can choose between the TSM mod version or standard and debloated, (TSM MOD has extra lockscreens and stuff) find it here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1385334
BLAZER is also really good, which is what I was on before, but the dev added beats to the rom and some of my songs in specific formats no longer work with it.
Calkulins is really good but lags unless you install the stock EL29 kernel or get setcpu to adjust voltage and cpu speeds. (doesn't lag for everyone, but most people it does)
I been using Blazer 4.1 since PH released it and I love it. I'm running it uv'd with Calks script, can't see another rom beating it.
I've gone through pretty much all of em. Calk is good. But I like Blazer the most. Then maybe Unnamed after that.
I prefer Calks for el29. If you want a theme try blue transfusion by dazednconfused. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1446766
Ive been on Strongsteve's Odexed Blue for a while XD. Best rom ive ever used. Super stable, fast and sexy looking

Quite honestly, you will have to try them all until you find the one you like. I like to theme mine, and there arent many for blazer, but was my favorite rom. Recently I learned how to throw my own mix into it, so i am running a little mixture of roms. As i said above, it all depends on your taste. I have tried many, many roms, and found things in all of them that i liked.

[Q] First time rom user, recommendations on roms that feel similiar to stock rom?

I've taken a look at a few ICS roms for the epic 4g touch, but they all seem to lean heavily towards the blue, which I assume ICS has made popular; I really don't like all the blue theming of the roms that I've seen. Are there any great ICS roms which you all recommend which stay true to the more varied and colorful feel of the stock gingerbread rom?
Just odin one of sfhubs roms. Complete stock with root added. Latest is fe14

You can also try any of calkulin rooms. They are pretty stable and nicely tweaked
Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA
If you want stability, my favorite is calkulin's 2.8.1 rom. It's a gingerbread rom but it's pretty darn stable in my opinion. I use the kernel that came with it but I use a newer modem. I found FD26 to be pretty agreeable with my phone. I'm playing with the new FE14 right now to see if it works better for me. I suggest to stay away from the ICS roms until the official final is released. I've tried different ICS roms only to go back to the good old reliable 2.8.1 EL29 from Calkulin.
Calkulins E4GT 2 ROM. 1.4 was very stable and good on battery. I haven't tried 1.5, but I'm pretty sure its good too.
Sent on HyDrA using Tapatalk 2
1.5 is awesome-comes with inverted gmail and play store apps, and is just as stable and smooth as calk's other roms...plus if you flash his bare rom converter in the same session (after the rom), it gets rid of a TON of unneeded bloatware

JB to GB - Need Opinions!

So Ive been doing some comparing of A LOT of Roms. Trying to see which one would be the greatest for battery life. Im going to be working long lloonng hours here shortly and need the battery life. Ive been looking All the way back to EL26 GB. So far Calkulin's E4GT v3.0 [ EL29 has my eye. Right now Im on ParanoidAndroid 4.1.2. Im just looking for others opinions. Maybe there is a Rom I missed? Tell me what you think.
if you want just battery life and a little performance, just go with calkulins 3.0 it has by far the best battery

Thats what I was looking at. I was comparing that to his ICS version, and Blazer Rom. Hard to choose. But so far Im aiming at Calks 3.0
My experience with blazer on gb has been my best experience with this phone, better than the jelly bean Rom I'm on now. Personally I say go for blazer
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Is it safe to flash from JB to GB using EL29 kernal? or are there more steps?
It's safe.
So far best battery life with calks 3.0 as well as blazer gb. Blazer ics as well with posted tweaks. With 1day on 4hr screen. About to try lightweight with placebo as I've seen even better results via screenshots
