SMS Fail

Hey folks,
This is my first post and I looking for some assistance.
I seem to have a strange problem with my messsages but it only happens with one particular contact and its doing my head in.
I am using the Chomp App and I think its great but the problem I have is one of my friends (who is on the orange network) when he sends me a message and I try to reply to him the message fails. When I check the view message details it shows his telephone number as 44XXXXXXXXXX it has removed the + sign from in front of the number.
However if I go into the failed message and select forward the message sends no problem and + is in front of the number.
I have checked his contact details on my phone and they are fine and if I send him a normal text it sends, the problem only seems to arise if I try to reply to the message he sends me.
Anybody got any idea how to fix this ????

im currently using htc desire hd..feel slow when texting with a contact who has 4000+ msg in a thread..tried to delete the thread..but just wont delete..forced to reboot ...and the msg was there..need help...

Try, when in the all messages bit, going in to setting->general and in storage settings selecting "delete old messages".

Strange Problem

First if am in wrong forum thread do tell me.
I am using HTC Wildfire on CyanogenMod 7.1.0.1-buzz
All was ok however I had synced last night with my gmail account and suddenly the "ME" has changed.
As in when I go to SMS and send anyone a message. the message shows as "ME".
The ME is showing image of one of my contacts n not me. if I press it for a while it should give me options of "call" "open contact" etc. It opens that person contact not mine.
However all the people are getting messages correctly. Its just in my own message box it is bit awkward to see someone else photo as "ME".
Any ideas?

u should contact a doctor and talk with him about your split personality

Hi folks,
hopefully someone can help me.
For a long time now, I'm looking for an app which can send and recieve short messages (not SMS!!) from an on your PC. A simular App would be Chrome to Phone but not only for links but messages in general as well as the ability to recieve messages from your phone on your PC.
For Example, I want to use it for the following situations:
- you want to (quickly) share a link you have found on your PC with your Whatsapp mates.
- you have recieved a link / name or just something on your phone and want to google it on your PC
- you want to call a number which is displayed on you PC
Does any of you guys knwos an app or a solution for this case? I know that Android Lost uses a message service called message popup. Hoever it isn't really intuitive for this kind of usage.
Maybe someone has an idea...

HTC one M8 delayed response in text msgs,call history & gallery

Hi all
Im using htc one m8 for quite sometime now, i feel there is a weird bug in the phone,its not a major issue but very irritating.
So the issue im trying to say is something like below:
Scenario: A new text message arrives, you open the sms thread. As soon as you open the thread i expect my unread message to be at the top. But actually the thread initially shows old messages and within fraction of a second the unread sms comes and sits on top of it.
So similarly imagine u read this new arrived sms and close the sms thread, now again if you go to sms thread the sms is shown as unread and again within fraction of second it gets updated as read, one can easily identify the delay.
I see same behaviour with call history and photos in gallery,i have rebooted my phone still facing the issue.
Is anyone facing similar issue and is there any solution for this irritating problem??
