I'm looking to hopefully get my Epic Touch tonight and I was just wondering if there were any issues with it. I remember when they released the white Evo, there were some issues. Thanks.
I haven't heard or read any issues with it. You should be good getting it and if you do experience issues there's always that 14 day window to return it

Thank you. I actually just went and got the black one. After looking at them in person, I feel like the white one looked cheaper. Lol
How long have you had your phone and how is the white casing holding up? With or without a case?
I'm asking because this time around I think I'm going to go for the white GS3 but I'm concerned that the pretty white color will fade to a nasty gray or get to dirty or something.
I don't normally use a case for my phones...thanks to the retarded annoying cases for the OG Epic, but I'm very careful especially since I got this S2. (I'm one of those people who trend to forget that my phone is sitting on my lap when I get out of the car).
But anyway, how's the white plastic looking over time?

I have had mine since November and it still looks amazing. Not a scratch on any of the white and no fading whatsoever. I only have a couple scratches on the silver edging which reveals white underneath, not sure if the SGS3 has this. I am very picky about my phone looking great and I wouldn't hesitate to buy this one again.

My epic is holding up pretty well
It had some nasty falls but only some minor scratches

No problems with dirt or anything? Are you guys saying this without using a case?

Is there something wrong with Black Epic Touch owners? (just kidding)

i really thought i wanted the white sg3 but I think the blue is the way to go
Still loving my white ET4G without a case. I have a case but the covers the white so I don't use it. Can't show off the white when it's covered

I just came back to the E4GT after having a Galaxy Nexus for a while... the E4GT I just picked up is white... but I immediately bought an Otterbox because I am not a clever man.
I thought I wanted the white E4GT but when I was holding it in the sprint store, I felt like I was wearing black dress shoes with white knee-high socks in shorts.
..so I went with the manly black flavor. I has no disappoint. I would have just covered it up with my case anyways! The chick at the sprint store had a white one and she told me that it picked up lint and crap from her purse/pockets. The textured back on the black one felt better in my hands too. The white one has a completely smooth and slippery back cover which I have no love for.
..but whatever blows your dress up!
Lol, but the correct term is "Pebble Blue" not "Black". :-D
WiMaxed away from my Samsung® Galaxy™ SII Epic™ 4G Touch™ SPH-D710 running the CyanogenMod9™ Alpha 5-Pre1!
Awaiting the Sprint® Samsung® Galaxy™ S III SPH-L710 because it's the SIII and it's on an unlimited data network.
So I am planning on getting a new phone, and am wondering if anyone knows if the epic 4g's battery will fit/work with the sprint version of the gs2, I know it is too small for the t-mobile version, but I can't chose between the att and sprint versions, and I have a ton of spare batteries for my epic 4g that I don't really use.
Well I'm using a S2 battery in my epic. The epic touch battery works fine in the OG epic. So I don't see why it wouldn't work the other way around. Although the lesser mah battery from the OG epic would be a slight downgrade over the stock gs2 battery.

It is a few microns thinner so it may be loose and easily dislodged. You may need a piece of matchbook cover in there to prevent that.

great, thanks! also, does anyone have anker or extended batteries for the sprint sg2?
does epic 4G touch has the same battery as SGS2 ?? my epic battery sucks, and it difficult to find original E4GT in my country
Try a battery by anker, works great. They sell on amazon and you can use the Fascinate model batteries for our phone.

My sister's white Epic 4G Tough glass is cracked. I have my old Epic 4G Touch (black) still around here somewhere. Is it possible to use my phone's digitizer/LCD with her phone?
What tools would I need? Thanks.
Yes... and google it...
