[Q] Pictures

Hi
When I take pictures in the dark, with the blitz, the pictures get all green. This did not happen before.
Anybody know what is wrong? I have reset things to "standard".

Slow picture taking? Edit: Fixed!

When I take a photo on my N3, set to 13MP and auto mode, every time after I snap a photo I have to wait 2-3 seconds while it's "Processing" before it let's me take another photo. This has to be some kind of bug right? Burst mode is never going to work if it has to spend so much time processing a photo before shooting the next one. Anyone else have this issue?
Edit: Seems the slowness is due to using the Smart Stabilization option. Turning that off fixed the issue.

[Q] Multiple Camera Issues

This topic is about multiple camera issues including issues with photo quality, as well as issues with the front facing camera within snapchat.
SNAPCHAT
The issue with snapchat, is that the front facing camera distorts whatever it's looking at. For instance, when taking selfies with snapchat my face is distorted in the form of a stretch. I'm not sure if this is a snapchat issue regarding the galaxy s3, or a cyanogenmod issue regarding my phone.
PHOTO QUALITY
As for photo quality, well this is a much bigger issue. Let's start with the problem: The camera (using any rom, stock or not) is creating vertical colored lines in photos containing, but not limited to, low light environments.
I had my phone replaced and when I got it back and flashed cyanogenmod I started noticing the issue. I reverted my phone back to stock uprooted to see if the problem persisted, and it did. I took my phone to the sprint store, and they replaced the camera in my phone while keeping the rest of the phones body. I took a few photos using stock 4.3 touchwhiz, call it what you want, and I didn't see any issues. Note, it was only a few photos that I took. Eagerly to opt. out of Touchwhiz, I rooted and went back to the same version of CyanogenMod I was on. Photos are still ending up the same, with vertical lines of all colors disrupting the picture.
In addition, the flash makes a noise with the stock cyanogenmod camera app, almost like the flash could be malfunctioning. Snapchat pictures with the flash work fine. When taking a photo with the flash on and my thumb covering the flash, the photo worsens with the issue. (more defined, and more quantity lines)
Any ideas, comments, questions and concerns are all appreciated.

Camera issues: orientation detection problems in portrait video + glary night shots

Hello,
First of all let's get past the "no video should be taken in portrait mode."
Whenever I'm recording a video in portrait mode with mt HTC 10, I run into problems when I have to watch it.
I use Google Photos (I've been using it ever since I started using the Nexus 4 and I'm happy with it) and I have backup turned on for all my photos and videos.
The portrait mode recorded videos always show up with the wrong (landscape) orientation.
The same thing happens when I upload the video on YouTube. I've tested this with multiple camera apps and the result is the same.
I've notived the saved video files are .mkv (not .mp4 as they were with my Nexus 5); I don't think that should be an issue, but I just wanted to mention it, maybe it matters.
My second concern is the way pictures taken at night are coming out. I'm attaching one as example. There's so much glare from the light posts that the picture is unusable.
Are there fixes for these or should I contact HTC support and just wait and hope they'll issue a firmware update?
I have the same problem with glare. Take a microfiber cloth or whatever and clean the lens. It seems very sensitive.

Camera rotation issues

So, I've had this issue for a while now and have just dealt with it for the past year. I've searched to see if others have experienced the same issue, but haven't found any posts...so here it goes.
In 3rd party apps such as Snapchat and Instagram, when the camera first opens (front and back camera) everything looks normal. Once I take the picture however, the pic turns 45° and stretches the picture. I actually first experienced the rotation issue in Periscope. Everything is rotated a whole 180°, not usable at all for live streaming.
Has anyone else experienced this at all and a perhaps knows of a fix?
I have factory reset my tablet twice to see if it was caused from an app I previously installed; yet still happening.

I've had this same exact problem with sending screenshots to people.
