The Otterbox Defender Kindle Fire Edition is now available direct from their website, the only problem is the price. They want $69.95

I've made a review of the Kindle Fire Tuxedo Case.
It's a case that I really like, and it looks great.

$40 case for a $200 product hmm
i wonder if those "case makers" ever make car covers how much will they cost then ?!!
Looking at the dimensions between the two...
A100 7.6" x 4.6" x 0.5"
KFire 7.5" x 4.7" x 0.45"
You'd think maybe you can squeeze the A100 into a Kindle Fire case. I know Otterbox offers a KF one, but the Acer line isn't ubiquitous enough to find real cases. Anyone brave enough to have tried?
i'm using a kindle fire slip in case for my a100 (thats got full body ghost armor on it) an I can tell ya its a tight fit with the slip in style case.
I am using a notebook case but it has elastic straps so it's almost big enough for me to fit in it.
The case you are looking at would likely work fine with width and length but the thickness is what will likely be the issue. I suggest going to Wally World and just test out the ones they have then you will know and be able to order or buy from another source based on type and size.
I kinda like this flip thing that came with mine. It has hard covers and felt inside. I have screen protectors on the way also. Pretty good deal off Amazon, 3 for 3 bucks and free shipping. Same company that makes the protector for my EX.
Good luck finding a case you like. Let us know what you decide on. I might like it better than what I have now.
Otterbox's normally fit like a glove and have button revisions that go thru the hard cover that integrate to the silicone layer. Same for the port holes. So it would have to say it wouldn't work.
I use a cheap leather case that turns into a stand with magnetic closure. EBay has them for about $8.
Is there any Kindle Fire case that is thin with magnetic closure?
This is the case I have. It uses magnets to close, but I'm not sure how thin you want it to be: http://www.amazon.com/UrbanFlip-Ser...339365401&sr=8-14&keywords=Orange+Kindle+Fire
Its only $8.99.
the belkin folio is also pretty thin and uses magnets..it's pretty pricey though but good quality
Thanks guys, I found this one:

That's he same one I have, except its orange.
Sent from my Kindle Fire using xda premium
Where are the magnets located? In the corners?
This is the case I have.
I cant post the link due to not having enough posts yet but the title of the case I have is
Fire 7 2015 Case , Exact [PRO Series] Professional Slim-Fit PU Leather Folio Case for Amazon Fire (5th Generation - 2015 release) Black
You should be able to copy and paste that into Amazon search and it should pop up!

Anyone know of any good sliding holster cases that aren't over priced.
