Hi All,
This is my first post in this forum.
My stock SD card was corrupted and i got a new one yesterday. I need to get the default audio and video files that came with the STOCK SD card like the final fantsay video, demo video and others. And there were few audio files as well. Is there any link from where i can get these files?
Thanks
u dont u just go to any cellphone shop and ask them? a rather strange request, but im sure they will, or tell them your phone was faulty

i just read a post over at ppcgeeks about somthing like this or i might have been at the kitchen not sure but it said somthing like take out the memory card and do a soft reset and then re insert the card it said somthing else but you might want to go and do a search over there for somthing like cant save video to memory card but i find it kind of har cause you have to use a 4 letter minimum when searching hope this helps a little
I've been using Sprint 1.01 for about 4 days now, and really like it. I saw on ppchaven someone mention 1.20 Bell, so does anyone know if he's updated the other roms to 1.20?
why did the thread get deleted? I thoughts the mods had put it back on track

before the thread disappeared, the mods noted on it that it was under investigation due to reports of pirated software. having said that, the all mighty powers of deduction say...
Camera Fix
Chq, the Velvito's 2.4.5 includes a Camera fix filex, extract the camera files and place it on the windows directory, also replace the exe file, soft reset, and will work, also, if you're using Touch Flo 2D and you use the Landscape mode the camera wont work, soft reset, and your camera will work!:
Where can I find this file?

I'm using the rom right now. I like it. So far there is no error. I can record video to the storage card fine.
Does anyone have access to the original xperia play pictures (for example the one with a kitty, beach etc), sounds (some ****ty SE mp3 songs) and videos that the phone came installed with? I accidentally deleted them and need them ASAP. Those files were stored on the SD card from the very beginning I had the phone from the network retailer (Orange Poland).
Recovering files doesn't work. I only get a part of it which you can see below.
Below you can see what photos I am talking about. Those are just the preinstalled SE files. Maybe some1 have the same files and could upload them for me?

Reflashing the original firmware may do the trick.if it's not too much hassle for you to do?

Unfortunately reflashing the original firmware can't restore the files on sd card...

I have noticed that when I am flashing a rom or mod that has the updated google 3d gallery in it, I have pictures and videos that are being deleted from my external sd card. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke. The second time I thought there was something wrong with my card and I replaced it. I flashed an updated rom and theme this morning and sure enough all of my video files and a lot of my pictures were deleted from the sdcard. This seems to happen when I first launch the gallery3d. It doesn't see the folders with the pictures and video. Has anybody else noticed this happening to them? If I am the only one then I am going to have my phone replaced but if it has happened to others, I would like to find out why and how to stop it. I am not saying that it is the gallery3d app that causes this, it is just when I flash a rom or theme with it is when it happens. This could be a samsung issue(we know they have had issues with sd cards in the past) or it could be my phone. That is what I am hoping to find out. This has happened on EL29. EL26, and EL13 that I am aware of.
Hmmm... A bad problem indeed. I can tell you that sometimes the ROMs you download add some files to the sd card. Calks ROM for example adds a file with removed apps. Do you have your things saved in a file with the same name? It may be replacing it automatically when you flash a new ROM. Check the ROMS changelog and see if this is the problem...
The only other thing I can think of is maybe your sd card is getting full and the ROMs files don't fit so it replaces files.
Also try using some kind of root explorer to confirm whether the files are really gone, or your phone just can't "see" them.
Epic-ly tapped from my Galaxy SII
They are pretty unique files names. I have one called bg that has background wallpaper pictures in them. And the files were indeed gone. I pulled the sd card and put in the reader on my pc to confirm this. I have no idea what is happening.
Hey guys,
I was recording a video yesterday, and it was around 10-15 minutes, with a file size of around 1.03GB. space on the memory card ran out and the file did not save properly. Now, it is not accessed by the phone or my computer. I think the header is corrupt or something..
used the following software to play/convert the file, but to no avail:
media player classic
vlc
jetaudio
movie maker
avidemux 2.5.6
mp4muxer 0.9.3
gomvideo converter
stellar photo recovery
None of them succeed to open the file, saying it is corrupt.
The file itself is 1.03 GB and must contain the video data in it, but how do i convert it to another format if its not being read in the first place? research on google is not helping.
Advise please guys!
thanks in advance!
Have you tried,
http://grauonline.de/cmsimple2_6/en/?Solutions:HD_Video_Repair_Utility
If it can repair it, it will do 50% of the video for free. It costs $40 for a full repair.
How valuable is the video your trying to recover?
wow nice one thanks! the only software that worked!
Hi.
I'm sorry for my bad english, please apologise me xD
I had problem with clock (it increased automaticaly of 10/20/30 minutes) so I decided to format everything.
Now I would like to get back main pictures, videos and tracks present on Xperia S.
Do you know any software to receive them back?

Its really hard to recover anything after you have formatted.
did u only factory reset it? or format your internal storage as well.
If u format the internal storage, u cannot get all your files back.
Just check your internal storage, to make sure your files still there or not.
there are free data recovery tools, which can recover data from formatted drives.
download one of them and try to recover your data.
Usually formatting does not delete the files, but just clears the file allocation table.
connect your phone to the pc and give it a try.
I'm sorry, I didn't expail it well.
I didn't do any backup so I lost everything.
Now, I would like to get back the main pictures, tracks and videos present initially on Xperia S like pictures (for instance the pictures that appear on 3:03 in this video on YouTube "Xperia S from Sony Review - Dialaphone "), hd video of presentation ecc.
Is it possible?
Anyone?
