[Q] forgot password - Acer Iconia Tab A100

I forgot my Acer password, I have already done the live chat and was told to call.
$100.00 to reset and change password on a $250.00 tablet...really..that is just wrong.
Any one else had this issue???

MSL "Check password error"

I received my MSL code from a sprint rep by email today, but when i do either the ##786# or ##3282# methods for updating the PRI, after entering my password, i get a message that says:
"Check password error, please try again."
Has anyone else had this happen? Does this just mean the sprint rep just managed to give me the wrong 6 digit MSL code?
yeah you probably just got the wrong code *2 and ask somone to give it too you it took me 5 min to get a rep that knew how to get it and off i went

weird, yep, i called and they said there are 2 MSL's, and they gave me the other one, which worked!

SIM Card Voicemail Number

I seem to have deleted my voicemail number off of my sim card. I can go into settings and add a voicemail number but if I try to I get a message like "unable to change voicemail number. If the problem persists contact your carrier." On top of that I don't want it set to my cell number because then I will have to enter my password everytime which I don't want to do. It was set to something else before. Is contacting T-mobile my only option or is there a way to retrieve and set the voicemail number again?
I set my cell phone number as the VM number but it never asks me for a password... Try it from your cell and see if you have any luck. If not, you will probably have to contact the provider.
I've always been able to just dial 123.. never prompts me for a pw.
I have been a t-mo customer for a looooong time though so I don't know if this is just something that has trickled down over the years.
if you are tmobile US the vm number is 8056377243.
that is the same number everyone on the american network has.
but what I'm wondering is, Why didn't you just call customer service? Or better yet GOOGLE it? I know it's a crazy concept but sometimes you have to think outside the box ey?

[Q] Number seems to be blacklisted, but not in call settings? CM7

I have a s5660, I installed CM7 on it and gave it to my boyfriend a while back, all was well.
But it seems MY mobile number has been blacklisted somehow within the last couple of days. When I call him from my phone it rings once then I hear a recorded announcement saying the person is unavailable. Then he gets an SMS from the carrier saying he has a missed call.
I can call all other numbers fine and he can receive calls from everyone else fine.
So I thought he blacklisted me, by accident (or intentionally who knows )
He swears he didn't, he's not too clued up with this stuff anyway so I don't think he has done it on purpose.
Anyway I checked the Settings>Call Settings>Blacklist, there are no numbers there.
My number still shows in his call log when I try to call him, as a 0.00 second call.
Swapped sims and it worked, so I guess it must be some setting on the phone somewhere, but IDK where, any ideas before I do a factory reset?

DZ call barring locked, have PUK2, where to input?

Searched the forums and Google but found nothing.
I wanted to do some call barring and went to the settings. The phone asked for call barring password. I googled, it turned out it's supposed to be the PIN2. The default PIN2 (which I have never changed) for my operator is 1234. Didn't work. Then I tried 5678, didn't work. Then I tried 0000, didn't work and the call barring locked. Now all it says is "Invalid barring password. Locked. Please contact Customer Center."
I called HTC Finland, they said that call barring is all operator business, not theirs and that the call barring password should indeed be the PIN2. I then called my operator, they told me that if my PIN2 is locked, I need the PUK2, which they gave to me. I now have the PUK2 but where do I input it?
PIN2 is different from PIN, it's the SIM that locked, not your phone.
I met the same problem about ten or more yeas ago.
Go to the Service Center of your service provider, they can help you.

I locked myself out of Call Barring
I called HTC, they said the Call Barring password is the PIN2
I called my service provider, they gave me the PUK2 to unlock my Call Barring password (the PIN2)
Where do I input the PUK2 to unlock the Call Barring password (the PIN2)?

Autodial v-mail pw has stopped on Rogers

So, I switched plans and had to reset my v-mail on Rogers. Now, when I use the speed dial feature "1" the v-mail number is dialed but my password is not automatically entered. I did try the *86,,XXXX in v-mail settings and that did not work. Got a message that the number was invalid. I'm not sure what happened but it would be nice to restore this autodial feature. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
