Hello One X Owners,
I have come to love my One X from the.time I first received it. My only issue is that the volume is super low.
I have turned all the vole controls as high as it would go and still very low sounding. The call ringtone sound is loud, but other things like notifications and lock sound are low. I'm also having an issue with not getting notifications even though I have it set to notify me immediately on certain apps.
Any help would be appreciated.

Ya, I got the same problem with the stock rom.
I think the speaker is low on all hoxs.
(maybe somthing to do with BEATS?)
Although, on CM10 roms the audio seems much loader.

htc one x speaker is low, you can't do anything except force it through an app from playstore, but you may burn it if you use it with amplification,
Hello! This is my first time here in xda
Anyway, I have rooted my old HTC Desire HD and i ran in to a problem.
Whenever i get a call or i make a call (phone, Skype whatever) the sound is coming from the back speaker and not the front one... but its not like its on speaker phone... When i get a call, the sound from the back speaker is low like its needs to be and only if i turn the speaker phone on it gets louder.
its like the phone thinks that the back speaker is the front speaker.... did anyone had that problem?
My friend had same issue..
I found a thread
elsewhere that mentioned removing the
battery for about a minute seems to solve
strange hardware problems with this
phone. So I removed the battery, waited,
put it back in, rebooted and somehow,
that fixed it!

Hi i have htc desire and i have sompting wierd in my phone
When i call or get incoming call, the speaker load in the back side more in the front side
if i replace the speaker its can fix the problem?

I am using HTC desire 816 dual.today I found a problem that the ringing sound only comes from bottom speaker when the flip is closed or while the sensors area near front cam is covered with hand.I think it is started today. But when the phone is not covered or anything both speakers are working..and playing music also working fine in both speakers.. I tried Skype ringing too It too has the same problem. Can anyone suggest a solution. My software version is 1.58.401.11

There is an issue with sound on any headphones i use on htc 10. issue appears when i turn on boomsound. sound is blurry and cracks a little.
