why imei is important
you can flash some chinese rom at bbs.gfan.com, they are up-to-date and better battery consumption.

how to repair IMEI number and how to bring back its network ?

I also have this issue in my phones now i have 2 phones with this issue
I make many things with it
First i flash it with cyanogenmod custom rom and in the custom rom the imei was ok and baseband was also ok but on *#*#4636#*#* i see that the radio is turned off when I click on turn on radio option it doesn't turn on
So i think that this is from modemst1 and st2 partition issue
So i wipe those partitions but it doesn't turn on radio
Then i wipe fsg,modemst1 and modemst2 partition by dd commands and after that baseband unknown and imei null
Now i lost the imei completely yeah i do it ??
If anyone help me please I know how to use the dd commands
Please both phones baseband was unknown

I am also having this issue

the same thing happened to me after flashing cm11 . fortunately i backed up the original stock fire os , so i was able to restore it back to stock. I would much rather run CM though. hope there is a fix for this.

OK I don't know if this is the reason or not. But I got mine to work correctly. I just flashed it to the stock partition.

showing WRONG imei

I'm using auxus prime p8000 I was installed Nexus 5.1 from my phone showing different imei no on phone and calls and data working how to get original IMEI

Fire Phone, no IMEI

Hi All,
I saw one thread here about an IMEI that is wiped. The guy's solution was to I guess flash the factory partition? I have no idea what that means.
I bought this phone on e-bay, and I found the IMEI on the physical SIM tray, and it's valid. Not blacklisted etc.
I want to restore that IMEI to the phone so I can actually use it. Am I SOL?
To clarify, when I use the code to display the IMEI, it just shows a blank popup.
