Does auto-rotation work, or do we have to flash the fix?
And a massive roar of cheers erupts.
On topic: why do we have to use cwm touch? I've had some very bad experiences with stability on touch and I'm not entirely comfortable using it as my recovery. What's special about this rom that makes cwm touch mandatory?

as long as its the touch version for the t989 (Hercules) it will work. we found that non touch recoveries would cause boot loops 100% of the time.
I'm glad we finally got this released Please do report bugs that are reproducable guys. and PLEASE post logcats.
If you are willing to report bugs, understand we may call on you to do more in-depth trouble shooting and one of our team members will walk you through this.
You can PM me directly if you think you have something to help. Not to be rude, but lets not waste any ones time so contact one of the team members only if A) the bug is reproducible and not already listed, and B) if you are willing to take some time to give us logs and info.
i think the OP dl link is down
I'm curious, is it just me or is there no in-call audio? (Doesn't seem to work for me. I did turn off gps, which perhaps it has the same problem as the first cm7, but after rebooting and even shutting down with it on, still no in call audio.) Did I have a bad flash perhaps?
Minus the few graphics glitches, this seems very nice. Also, yaldak's fix for autorotation works on this as well.

Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread. Before reporting a bug, please make sure you are running as stock as possible. This means no custom kernel, no custom framework modification, etc. If you are using any of the above modifications, please flash the rom again to get rid of the modifications before reporting.
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. The following is a useful format to follow.
Code:
What is your--
Phone model:
Radio (baseband):
CM version:
CM Download url:
Gapps version:
Did you--
wipe:
restore with titanium backup:
reboot after having the issue:
Are you using--

in the thread under the report bug section it says "You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread", do u think still it is not relevant ?
Nice, let's go for another 15299 posts!
Taptalked u see
In the wiki there is
"No camera focus mode setting"
but in the changelog of the latest nightly (08 Apr) there is
"aries-common: Enable Camera focus mode"
Um, why the r0.build.fingerprint release is still GINGERBREAD ??
A new thread. Cool!
I've been using CyanogenMod (both 7 & de 9) for quite a while, but I've always had a poor battery life. Does anyone have any advice on how to improve this?
When I was on build 04/08 my battery died after not even 4 hours and again after I completely recharged it so i went back to 04/02 on which the battery life was a little better, but still not perfect.

Of course I'm still thinking it's irrelevant... Battery draining can be caused by too much other things and you didn't say your configuration neither... I can say that my battery is draining too fast and maybe I have some apps doing this... Not the rom... Do not misunderstand me... I'm not bad people...

I actually think it might be the fact that we were on jelly bean. It messes with things for some reason, other day i tried to odin back to stock and it didnt even work.. didnt wipe the internal like it supposed to. Later i will try to nandroid back to my ICS backup then try that and see if it works then.
Maybe they were just holding it wrong Put the link back up and let us mess with it

Well, that's it for now - we technically don't maintain the recoveries, so you'll have to talk to the folks that support them directly. This particular one is the stock CM recovery that we added external_sd support to and it is build with the proper SELinux capability to prevent the reboot of doom seen with the CM10.1 based recoveries.
Ohhh yeah, just saw this drop on g+. Downloading now, thanks for the hard work. Will report back once up and running

If you do that, you are on your own. The 10.1 recoveries do not know how to deal with the SELinux capable file system properly. You can run into some major snags that way.
This recovery, although it's very basic, works just fine for flashing zips and taking backups. Plus, it is the only one right now for the Hercules and Skyrocket that correctly works with the new filesystem for 4.3

If you do that, you are on your own. The 10.1 recoveries do not know how to deal with the SELinux capable file system properly. You can run into some major snags that way.

Oh alright. Guess no twrp then Lol. Thanks for the work! Appreciate it
No sweat man, I"m sure it's only a matter of time before the appropriate changes are made to TWRP and CWMR Touch. Our device is a bit of an oddball in how the storage volumes are setup, so this issue was really unique to us with 4.3
Woohoo! Thanks devs! This phone will remain me for a long time to come so this gives me a smile
Once again, thanks and I will flash and report back :good:

Ahh CWM, the good old days xD
Recovery was fun to use lol
ROM works beautifully on my end, no issues so far. Smooth and fast.
Good work!
Hmm, does DSP Manager work properly for anyone?

so far so good, just missing the options to disable touch keys from lighting up. Going back to 4.2.2 until mainline nightlies show up.Also lack of TWRP is upsetting.
Thanks for the work you've been doing for us!! Can't wait for a dayly driver!
The only bug I've been able to spot so far is that there is still a reboot issue when accessing the external SD card from a gallery app. I can use quickpic just fine, but once I hit the SD card folder, the phone locks up and inevitably reboots.
Other than that, this is a very good alpha build of Android 4.3! Great work TeamChopsticks!

The recovery link isn't working.... anyone have a mirror that isn't d-h.st?
Edit: Finally downloaded...
Edit: anyone know if advanced settings are making a come back any time soon?
Man, I feel so late joining the 4.3 party.
Anyway, just flashing the CWM for CM10.2 now. Its not TWRP but as long as I can still revert back to my nandroid backup made with TWRP in case things go wonky, I'll be fine.
So far, CM10.2 alpha builds for Hercules runs great: feels a bit smoother than 4.2 and faster.
4.3
Thanks so much for the hard work devs this is great!!!
There is a NFC wakelock issue with the latest 10.2 rom, as shown by BetterBatteryStats.
NfcService:mEeWakeLock - 87.7%
I cannot turn off NFC either.

Cool! Is this rom good for daily use? Are those the only issues present?
Edit: Just noticed which device this is for... No GT-N8010?

Need to use CWM, the lastest version available.
Updated OP with gapps
Stupid question... Is there a way to install cwm on a SCH-I925? If I search for cwm and SCH-I925 I find nothing.
Unfortunately
Unfortunately, it doesnt work on the N8000. I would gladly test it. But it doesnt even detect the file. Same deal goes with the Gapps.

If I get time I will look at making this, but it will be a few days before I even look at it.
No worries, I have all the time. No haste. If you do, I would gladly become the first tester.
Any screen shots please?

This may be a really dumb question, and sorry if I overlooked something, but why is this posted in the Note 10.1 development if it's for the I925?

Wrong thread for this question.
Hmm so if the Verizon note 10.1 gets official cm11 I'm sure and hopeful that the WiFi version n8013 should get official nightlies soon

Any news about the N8000? I'm on OmniRom and we having a problem with the screen that goes white https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5r5ltdppw5iqsh/IMG_20131228_181900.jpg
I was wondering if you had the same problem with your rom since I believe the two tables share the same hardware.
If you need someone to test CM11 on a N8000 I'm available!
