Hi, I recently rooted my Kindle, but the odd thing is that the volume is extremely low with the latest roms ex. Pure AOKP, ReloadedROM and AOKP Build 33 (Using 3.0 Kernel). When I go back to stock I get normal volume. I would appreciate any help.

I've been running MMuzzy's ROM for several months now and recently flashed CM10.1. But I found CM 10.1 to be cumbersome and decided to flash the latest "French Vanilla" version of MMuzzy's ROM. After doing so, I have two questions:
1. I seem to remember being able to adjust the volume using the rocker without the phone being unlocked. But I don't seem to be able to do this anymore. Did the ROM change or is there something wrong with my particular installation?
2. The Quick Settings Tile mod that was built in doesn't seem to pay any heed to what I am setting. Seems pretty stock. Does this mod work in MMuzzy's latest French Vanilla mod?
The only mods I have on my phone are the 3-1Circle Battery mod (adbFreedom) and the MMZT_softkey_stockreflect softkey mod.'
Thanks for looking.
Hello there,
Maybe you could try re-flashing the ROM wiping factory settings, and testing if the volume rocker is working before installing any mods.
And if you're looking for completly or almost stock AOSP ROMs you could try Rascarlo's builds, they are rock stable and fast!
Good luck!

Thanks. It turns out the battery mod must not be compatible with the latest "French Vanilla" ROM and that was what was changing the QSM.
I have lost Ringer audio and notification sounds when running custom roms i've trired CM based and AOSP based all have the same issue but on stock i have no issues also strange is i can run custom kernels on stock rom and still have sound im totally confused on this one the rom versions ive tried are all different versions of jellybean, i can provide log cats and system dumps if anyone can help thank you
Help me guys, I'm new to flashing so I don't have much knowledge of the subject. Anytime after installing a new custom rom on my Sprint LG Optimus G the upper half of the phone seems to get warm to the touch easily even with minimal usage, the only time it will cool down is when the screen is locked. Also, no matter what rom I flash the battery seems to drain very quickly compared to stock rom. The roms I have tried out so far are Cyanogenmod 10.2 stable release, SuperNexus 4.0 Build 1, and Cyanogenmod 11 M2 Snapshot. I really want to get past this issue and stick with a stable, customizable, and efficient JellyBean or KitKat rom to use as a daily driver. Any help and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, everyone.
So I've stumbled upon a little problem that I don't know how to fix. My phone only can run either my Stock ROM or CyanogenMod ROM, I've tried flashing many many other ROMS but CyanogenMod is the only one I can get to work. About the rest of them they don't boot up, they get stuck on the boot screen and that's it.
And I'm rocking the HTC Incredible S ( VIVO) at the moment running CyanogenMod 10.1 Unofficial. As I wanted to try out some Sense based ROMS, with higher power optimization, maybe faster charging and no bloatware, because I enjoyed Sense just that my Stock Sense got a bit laggy so I decided to change it.
These are one of the main ROMS I tried to flash on my device I use Clockwork Recovery to do this, I don't know maybe some need specificly the EXT4:

I hope someone will be able to help me out.
Good Day to everyone.
I tried a few roms and so far I always find something in a rom that doesn't work for me so I was wondering if I could get some rom suggestions based on these criterias:
1. AOSP rom
2. Everything works(camera, bluetooth, volume buttons, just like stock rom), I don't know if that's too much to ask from a custom rom
3. Fast and good battery life.
4. Keep the default samsung icon size(DPI)
I like cyanogen but when I got a call I had to play with the volume buttons. I had to raise the volume to lower it at first and after I lowered it, it became back to normal operaiton. I tried the lollipop rom and it was lightning fast but the stock camera wasn't working.
Would all of this be asking too much from a custom rom? Do you have to sacrifice some functionality when using these roms or do some of them function as good and better then the stock one?
