I created a custom boot animation, but when the boot animation loads the first sequence, it is slower than the actual rate of the animation. Why is that, and is there a way to eliminate this lag?

Are the images flattened? sometimes with large images it will lag or just downright fail.

Are you sure that the animation speed is set correctly? Do you use the Boot Animation maker program (by depotovski I believe)

Yes, I believe the images are flattened. But I'll try reducing the size of the image to see what happens.

Yes, I used the Boot Animation maker program to create the desc.txt.

Is...
it in the right place?

it named correclty?
bootanimation.zip support enabled in your rom?
Yes it is in the right spot. I am running The People's Rom which does have a boot animation and I did change it already several times already.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda app-developers app
Yes I think the desc.txt is right. I looked at several other boot animations and followed the instructions on how to make an animation as well as let Boot Animation Factory build it and they both failed.
Simple as that. I have rooted it and installed Cyanogenmod. I just want to have a static image instead of an animation. Is there a way or do I need to make a 1 frame - 1 fps animation?
Worked...FOR NO REASON AT ALL! IDK - It was just showing the android logo while the animation was 1 fps only. One day it worked. It keeps working.... I made a 1 frame animation btw
Hey everyone I'm @ my wits end here, changing it boot animation has never been THIS complicated for me . I'm trying to change the boot up animation to the Digital Rain Matrix Animation w/ Boot up Sounds. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43437133
And I spent over 4 hours trying recommended methods and install locations for the sound and animation, well eventually it got to the point of me losing BOTH the stock HTC AND Verizon animations, and phone started booting stock android animation... Eventually I got lazy and used Rom Toolbox Pros boot animation feature to overwrite the stock animation in system/media, but now I have no shutdown animation so. I'm probably gonna restart with my newest nandroid. My question is , has anybody with our phones (Verizon) figured out exactly how to get the Boot up music to play correctly? ANY help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED
So today I got Gif to boot feature on Boot Animations app by JRummy Apps. I created one boot animation and installed it however when my device boots up it only shows half the gif and then keeps playing that half of the gif until the phone starts. I made another boot animation with a different gif and that goes to fast. What i may be doing wrong? I have a note 2 N7105T rooted and runnig cm12.1
