http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9373667&postcount=1
hope it help you
I don't must use this kernel
i install in my PDA new relase scoot cyanogenmod [RLS5] and wi-fi work fine
but adb nat work
[Q]"Turning Wi-Fi on".... but it never turns on - running Paranoid Android ROM
I can't post on the developer page so hoping this is ok....
Just wondering if anyone has found this problem? Or more importantly - has anyone found a solution?!
Cheers
Tony
I've sorted this by downloading another FXP126 CM9 ROM and taking the boot.img from there.
Or at least, since I did that, it's working....
Rather sounds like you had an incompatible combination of kernel-wifi modules.
FXP 125 Kernel is said to have this problem. Dunno if it goes on in 126.
It is said to be fixed by using any root explorer and browsing to Data>Misc>dchp and deleting the .pid and .lease files in there (aka, all in the folder).
Solution:
download Wi-Fi fix CM9/CM10 FXP Wi-Fi fix #3 (November 27, 2012) (under Miscellaneous ALL DEVICES) as a new user i can't post links, so search for FreeXperia extended ROM/kernel on Google and click the first link.

Hello!
My Device is an Xpera Arc (Lt15i)
I am trying to run LegacyXperia CM 10.1/2 but i cant start wlan above kernel 3.4.62!
with 3.4.61 and bestttSlim_rom 20130918 its no problem to start wlan but if i install 3.4.62 or 3.4.65 kernel its not working anymore!
Patches by besttt also dont bring it back to life.
BestttSlim rom updates also kills wlan.
Are there any modules or patches for this issue? I have read many pages in many threads..
I want to update because, the SD Card hangs often in mmsc mode, like a HDD what has stopped an needs to start up first.
Its very annoying while driving car ore just want to listen to music.
greez
Use the kernel, which was built for the specific ROM.
So LegacyXperia ROM with the kernel from inside the zip, don't know about other ROMs.
Hi everyone,
I rooted my Wilfire S a few months back with CM7 and I'd like to use the Wifi Calling feature. The problem, is that the Wifi Calling app is not listed. I will be traveling out overseas, and would like to use the Wifi Calling.
Has anyone been able to successfully get the Wifi Calling feature to work on the Wilfire S?
Thanks.
I ran across this thread about adding the WiFi Calling on the Nexus One, but not sure if it will work on the Wildfire S.

I have gotten WiFi calling working on a CyanogenMod 6.1.0 RC1 rom. I have attached the files that I used to get it working and instructions. I am hoping someone else can try it out to see if it works for them. This could also work over an existing install of CyanogenMod 6.1.0. I also think it would work on an Evil rom with a modded non-CM IntersectRaven kernel.
First off thanks:
Cyanogen for his rom
IntersectRaven for his kernel
Evil for his libs and module
Dekips for the WiFi Calling app
Halfwaytothepole for his build.prop mods
This thread for the other information
What I am running:
CyanogenMod 6.1.0 (Slightly altered; have removed a few apps, added some others, Gapps included, and have added Darktremor's Apps2SD 2.7.5.2) but should work on stock
T-Mobile US
Radio 5.12.00.08
Instructions:
1. Download CyanogenMod 6.1.0 rom and copy to SD-Card (Not included)
2. Download the app from the first post or this one and copy to SD-Card
3. Download WiFi_Calling.zip and extract the contents to you SD-Card
4. Flash CyanogenMod 6.1.0 (Gapps is optional, It is included in my mod)
5. Go through the initial setup and sign in, then reboot to recovery
6. Flash WiFi Calling Kernel.zip, reboot, then reboot to recovery (It's IntersectRaven's kernel but can't remember which date, fairly new though, that I have added kineto_gan.ko to)
7. Flash WiFi Calling Libs.zip, reboot (Includes libs from Evil's Mytouch4G v.0.6 Rom, and a modded build.prop from a stock 2.2.1 rom)
8. Install MS-HTCVISION-KNT20-02.apk
9. Connect to WiFi
10. Open App and enable
11. Enjoy

Hello, first I would like to congratulate and thank the work done.
I installed and tested this rom. In my case, the system restarts of 5 in 5 minutes what can be? thanks
Make advanced wipe, choose data, system, cache and dalvik-cache
Flash rom (only rom nothing else)
wipe again (this time simple wipe is enough)
reboot
after the rom has booted you can install supersu and gapps if you need (dont do this direct after flashing rom)
Think about, its the first complete rom build ive ever done (really the first)
I get also random reboots but not as often as you (2 the last two days)
Also you can try new Modem...
Great work! I'm following. SlimLP is what I like the most.
Is it too early to ask how is battery/performance?

4 hours of Screen on time? In a normal day of usage?
If it's like this it is very good for a first build!
Gute job man!
No if screen is constant on... 4 hours

Ok. So still no daily ROM.
Thanks for your good work!
I Think 4 hours of constantly using your phone while display is on is not as bad
Rom is relative new so i dont know how long it lasts on standby but i gess 2-3days
ah ok, now I got it.
so with 4 hours of on screen time and a good standby time it's definitely a good ROM,
I'll follow the development!
Rom updated, Wifi auto mode now working with 5Ghz
bluetooth
Thanks for your work
I have a problem with bluetooth,
it is working fine with multimedia audio or video files but
no sound in or out in phone calls, i found this problem both in CM and in your rom, in official samsung rom it is working fine.
I am in XXU1bof3 modem, but i tryed to flash it with odine, I tryed with all kind of wipe, but the problem is still there.
Thanks
Ahoi, big up for your work. Please let me know how I can donate your next beverage!
can this rom work for tmobile s4?
