I no that hwa does not work on cm9 but what does that mean? As in what does not work because of that

Just read the forum. Means anything with hd video, ie netflix won't work.

Actually, HWA is now working in Hashcodes 3.0 kernel. Should have a Daily Driver of it soon

It already is a daily driver, I mean, it's just as stable as cm9 was with kernel 2.6+ so I think that cm9 is getting very complete.. it's almost there!
Still no Netflix
Hi, first time posting, I've been playing around with different ROMs on my Kindle Fire for about a month now. I just flashed your latest ROM, CM9 Reloaded v1.2H, and I loaded up Netflix from the Amazon App Store, but when I try to play a video it acts like it's beginning the buffer process then immediately goes back to the Netflix queue.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I look in the Play store for Netflix instead?
EDIT: Just removed the app and installed from Play. Same problem.
EDIT 2: I just flashed to this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24955869&postcount=155
and then installed the latest Hashcode as of 4/24. And now Netflix works beautifully!

Take a look at this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339572
It seems as if there is mixed success getting it to run.
Works fine for me.
Is that really work? Coz mine kept crashed everytime I tried to load the game.. what game version are you using?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
1.1.0 using elite kernel and a nightly Kang of cm7.2.0
Mine works great also. Using latest version of shadow gun. The second mission (add on crashes rarely) while regular never crashes. I recommend running CM7 Nightlies based rom and OCing to 1.5ghz. Also, running v6 supercharger or ram manager will help it run VERY smoothly. Good luck!
Works good for me, worthy for a shot
Damn!! I'm on sense rom.. no wonder I can't load it.. should go back to cm7 then..
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I have the last version 1.1.0, it cannot download the data files, always says "Error"
my old rom: virtuous affinity wasn't able to start the game
on stock rom: works fine
have to check on andromadus v12 this weekend
Had to wipe to d/l the data lol never worried about putting apps to the mSD card but now I suppose I will. It works though.

Anyone been able to get video streaming available on the new at bat app? I'm a mlb.TV premium subscriber and have access on my Touchpad running CM9 which is not officially supported. But no option to watch on the officially supported DInc2 running Liquid Smooth CM7. I only have access to audio, no TV option...
Update: mlb.com support was clueless so must be something in the build.prop in Liquid Smooth ... I edited it to show as a Nexus and works perfect now. Just need to see what the difference is between mine and a stock DInc2 build.prop file

At Bat 2012
Does anyone know why At Bat 2012 doesn't run/or is incompatible with an Iconia A500 with ICS? It was working with 3.2.1

well i just rooted my kindle fire and im not sure what rom to put, i heard some roms dont work with the amazon store after there installed and i want to be able to keep on using it to get my books and read them, but i just CANT Stand the Stock Theme it comes with, and i was wondering is there a rom you could recommend to keep reading books and keep amazon store working while having a different better theme as well as possibly downloading google play ?
I use Cm7 because it very stable. It support google play and not amazon market. I don't need amazon market so that's ok. I'm going to up my kf to jeally bean, every one said that its so good.

It all depends on what you want.
Battery life?
Performance?
The newest thing out there?
I loaded hashcode's stock jb ROM, which was stable and effective, but was a bit too cellphone-y for me, so I dirty flashed Jandy Cane on top of it and I love the tablet optimizations. It runs very smoothly and I've had no issues at all. I highly recommend doing it, stock KF software sucks

Don't worry about the amazon store, you can get all the books you want with the kindle app, and everything else will be on google play for the most part. There's always a way to get something. That said, I really like Jandycane, and there are some good, stable ICS based ROMs as well. gedeROM was probably my favorite.

+1 for jandycane. Very stable, very fast, and his new custom UI stuff is very cool.

thx, trying
I've been having trouble getting the snapchat app to work. I've tried different versions, but the camera is zoomed in and rotated on all of them. I'm running Hashcode's CM10.1 Has anyone gotten this to work correctly?
Iam running hashcode's latest release of 10.1. I tried to get the app to test, but Google play says the app is not compatible with my device... I'll try again in a day or two

Thanks for the effort! I installed it using an apk file. Try this link. http://www.dailyapks.com/apk/snap-chat-v-2-1-0-apk-download/
On every AOSP ROM I've tried, I can't seem to find a way to play my movies from Google in HD or download them in HD. They only play in sd quality. And download a file that's only 200MB prior to the HD file that's supposed to download which is 2gigs+ does anyone else have this problem or found a fix for it? I really like what AOSP has turned out to be but I keep coming back to TW cuz of my movies.

Are you using an AOSP built for the new bootloader (4.4.2)? The new device tree has issues with hd
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Yes I am and even before that I couldn't watch HD movies. It's been like that since the old boot loader
Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
I had issues with watching HD Google play movies on AOSP with the old bootloader too but YouTube and downloaded videos were fine. Now I only experience the problem with HD on AOSP when on the new builds. I'm still on the 4.3 bootloader so I have the option to choose thankfully. I haven't tried Google play for videos lately though. I just use moviedroid for my video watching needs.
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
Hmmm. How did you get it to work on the 4.3 boot loader?
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I haven't had Hd video issues on 4.3 AOSP since way early builds so I can't answer that. It was more a change done to the ROM by the developer.

This is still an issue for me btw.
I'm in the same boat. Luckily, I can at least cast them to my Chromecast, but it does suck not being able to watch them on my device if I'm away from my TV.
I have this issue on both my 2012 Nexus 7 (running CM11) and my Droid RAZR HD (XT926) running CM11, Gummy, etc.
It only works when I'm on stock KK for both devices.
Not sure if it's an issue with AOSP in general (seems to be) or an issue with GAPPs. I don't think it's GAPPs as I've removed and reinstalled Google Play Movies from the Google Play store.
I also notice that I cannot send apps to my phone from the Google Play web page if I attempt to install from the web page.

I'm wondering of its because you're rooted. I remember when Google play movies could not play on rooted devices. I had to use voodoo to unroot & root again to get it to play.

Ummm I don't think so because my note 3 is running a rooted stock ROM but I think it's a kernel issue because I put a custom kernel on my stock ROM and it made google play movies to stop playing completely
I just don't know what is making custom kernels not google play movie friendly

I agree. Under stock, I'm rooted and movies will play. Under non-stock roms, they won't work except via Chromecast.

Yea or anything with a custom kernel. This is the only phone that I have a problem with Google play movies playing. That's why I'm stuck in Stock rooted rom. The only rom that didn't cause trouble for me was wicked
