Hello,
I unlocked my phone via htcdev and installed leedroids hd 2.2.0 (sp) all is ok with it but I wanted to clean up my phone and go back to stock.
my fw is o2 1.26.206.2 my mid: PJ4610000.
I'd like to get the stock fw back on it (currently I restored to my nandroid backup of stock).
Do I need to flash back to stock recovery>relock>flash back to stock?
My CID shows as none. I have tried using cmd but I can't get it that way either.
I'd like my phone to still be rooted but on stock FW and all the stuff on my sd cleaned up.
What si the best way to do this?
Any help advice appreciated. I'm a noob and should not have messed about with it.
Any help advice appreciated.
Thanks
You said you restored your nandroid stock already. It's good as bare stock already plus you enjoy being rooted.
If you relock, you lose root.

Hi all,
Need to revert my phone back to stock 2.1, do you just download the stock rom and flash??
What's the difference between then signed and unsigned versions?
I don't have a goldcard, never made one, is that a problem. I am currently running clockwork mod with oxygen. I have not s-off'd the phone.
Any info would be great as I have to return it to three to cancel my contract.
Cheers

Do you know what ROM was originally on the phone? This should be the first thing anyone does before rooting so you can go back if you need to
H3G android 2.1. That's all I know.
Any ideas?

Found an old post I made with some details about the original rom,
Radio 32.41.00.32U_4.08.00.09
Hboot 0.83.0001
Rom Stock 2.1 Update 1
I cant find this rom to flash back to stock, can only find the two H3G roms on the sticky.
Anyone got any ideas on this, need some help fast please.
Cheers

did you keep the backup from when you first rooted your phone?
I did, but the sd card failed and I lost everything. Can I flash either of the stock roms or will one of them, or both, kill the phone?
If you are on 3 UK then you could use the newest 3 ROM from shipped-roms.com
Thats it? No need to use a goldcard (the one I dont have) just run the exe and it'll flash the rom, radio and be back to stock again?
Cheers

Hi!
I'm in desperate need of a backup from the 2.17 update from 3. I started getting problems on my phone and firstly did go back to stock by using a RUU. The problem was still there afterwards anyways, so I decided to try with a custom ROM again. However, I forgot to do a backup of the stock 2.17. And the problem is, because of the new HBoot, I'm not able to use the 1.29 RUU I used before and there are currently no 2.17 RUU.
So now to the question, anybody have a backup from 2.17 that they can upload and send me the link?
Bump.
I would pm football (http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=494185) and ask him if he can get the rom.

As far as I know in order to reinstall the original stock ruu you will need to relock (unroot) your phone. If you want something near to stock rom then I would suggest the Android Revolution rom.
Android Revolution works even better than stock. You'd try it!
restore the nandroid backup?
Hey Guys,
I'm in a bit of a pickle! + I'm a newbie (with some background knowledge - i know how to flash, use cmd etc.)
I want to unroot my One X back to the original stock rom, how it was like when i got it out of the box!
Now i have currently CWM + Insertcoin
I installed a nandroid backup, but it failed, as in (No Wifi+No Mobile Network)
So thats why i went on to install a custom rom so my phone could work for now.
MY PHONE
S-ON
CID: OPTUS001
HBOOT: 1.36
Radio: 5.1204.162.29
Main Ver: 3.14.980.27
Now the issue.....
So as i said before, i want to go back to stock, so i can receive the OTA updates.
The real problem is that the latest RUU i can find for my One X is:
" RUU_ENDEAVOR_U_ICS_40_Optus_AU_1.29.980.11_Radio_1.1204.105.14_release_260560_signed "
So since my version is updated to JB 3.14 i need that RUU, so the real question is does any have
HTC ONE X OPTUS JB 3.14 RUU ??????
COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!
Also....
>I have also tried running the customRUU to install the ICS RUU but.... NO LUCK! I got an invalid Error [156]
Anybody know how to fix that?? if that is the only way?
>Nandroid - FAIL
I would just like to be back at original stock rom, with no root, no nandroid, anything!! PLEASE HELP :'(
Another panic button...
You have no wifi/mobile network because you have a kernel on device that does not match the modules included on your ROM.
Use this untouched nandroid to get back to stock, make sure your flash boot.img 3 times for my favor.

Thanks heaps for that HebeGuess!!
But now that i have the nandroid working, how can i unroot and go back to stock how it came out of the box, so basically no CWM and i can get OTA updates.
What do i do after installing the nandroid?
Thanks

Read the FAQ in that thread.
In case, recovery is the same across Official ROM despite vary CIDs.

Hi Guys,
I previously had 4.1.0 Stock ROM on my phone (which has been rooted since JB launch). I bank with Barlcays, and my app used to work.
Yesterday I flashed 4.2.2 onto my phone and now I get an error saying I can't use it because my phone is rooted. Iv'e tried relocking my bootloader but I still can't access. Any one had a similar problems? Any way to resolve it?

did you make a nandroid before flashing 4.2.2? if you did, restore your nandroid, if you didn't make a nandroid do "fastboot getvar version-main" then look for your cid and nandroid matching your main version on here>>>>>http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1975140

Thanks for your response. I did create a nandroid. I'll try flashing stock recovery when I get home from work before I resort in going back to 4.1.0.
