I've only just noticed when I unlock the lock screen the nav bar buttons don't all show up at once, they show up in a sequence from right to left.
Its very fast when it does it but I'm sure it hasn't always done that. Can someone look and let me know if its a new feature I've just not noticed

It is normal since 4.0.3.

Does anyone else's lock screen lag really bad sometimes?
Sometimes it will work fine but sometimes it could lag horribly.
I can slide to unlock and then it will actually slide a second or two later, and the animation when it brings up the home screen is really choppy.
I keep thinking of doing a factory reset to see if it solves it but o don't want to lose everything if it doesn't work.
I'm 100% stock 4.0.4
I will try and get it on video later to show you what I mean when I get home

Got auto screen brightness ON?
Cause when you lock ur screen in full light condition and unlock when in dark light condition (and vice versa), the lag you describe happens.

Yeah I do know how to search. I also know to post when I don't find an answer.
You still don't know after all your posts not to troll?
If u don't have anything useful to add don't post.
Stop wasting my time having to reply to such a useless post. Bye

Mine doesn't lag.
Maybe another program monitoring the lockscreen?

As said above.
There's an almost exact thread about this that was started yesterday. So yes, learn to search.

Sometimes a faint circle icon shows up in the notification bar (see attached screenshot), anybody knows what it is ?
If i pull down the notification bar there's nothing unusual there. It is also interesting that it disappeared after i took the screenshot ...
LE: I have stock 4.1.2 right now, but I noticed it also showed up before (stock 4.1), so it's not from the latest update ...

My guess would be that it is an app you have installed. I do not have a dot on my galaxy nexus right now. I would factory reset then reinstall whatever Rom you are using if it is not an app you have installed.
That is a Google now notification. For me I usually get that when there's a weather update or a time to leave notification.

that looks like the gps locating indicator, shut off gps and see if it goes away
@BlueCuda: i know it is some app but the question is which one ... and it doesn't bother me that much to do a factory reset, it just shows up every now and then ...
@msavic6: maybe it is a google now notification, but if this is true:
- why did it disappeared instantly after taking the screenshot
- why does it show up every now and then (once in a few weeks maybe), i would rather expect it to be displayed on a more regular pattern ( at least daily) since I have wifi and sync on most of the day and the evening so the weather gets updated often, and i have meetings in my calendar every day ...
@jaymazz13: that is not the gps/location icon, please have a look at the screenshot (gps was off anyway)
btw , i have stock android 4.1.2 ...
that is in fact the google now card notification, whenever you have a card in the notification bar it will appear, swipe away the google now notification in your status bar and notice: it disappears
I still use the stock browser due to quick controls. But with 4.2 if I enable them it seems to leave a blank spot where the address bar is. This happens with or out without full screen enabled. Weird thing is when first enabled it's fine, but when loading a new page it's not.
Can anyone help me confirm this is happening for them as well?

I just flashed the latest version of Cyanogenmod 10.1 on my S3 and everything is working fine except for one thing. I can't get the lockscreen to have a pattern that shows up when I slide the lock. After I wake it up from sleep, it just shows the pattern and not the slider to access the camera, Google Now, etc. I was able to do in CM10 with no problem. Can anyone help me out?

It's the same on AOKP. You and I must be the 2 users that like pin/pattern and the slide lock. It may eventually get fixed. I haven't yet tried a 4.2 AOKP ROM yet so not sure if it got fixed with that update.
Also waiting for this fix. Its really annoying along with not able to pull down the status bar in full screen apps.

Ive noticed that when my screen goes off and I hit the home button to wake it back up sometimes when it turns back on it shows me the recent apps list as if I held the home button down. Only started happening since latest update. Confirmed happening on stock and frosty jelly bean latest build.. has anyone else noticed this? Btw I have pattern lock as lock screen

Yep - and if you disable the lockscreen it happens pretty much every time. How the home button is handled changed from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2, which is where the issue stems from I believe. It takes a little smali hacking to fix it (though to be fair I would consider the fix that I am trying as being in testing still).
Can you share how to resolve this issue. I don't think T-Mobile has fixed the issue and it is driving me nuts. I don't want a lock screen so that is not a good solution for me. I also prefer not to root at this point.
Thanks for any help!
It requires root unfortunately... though I suppose I could try to throw it into an ODINable tar similar to the prerooted tar thats out there...
