[Q] "App isn't installed" - Kindle Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Running Reloaded ROM, I'm having an issue with installed apps 'suddenly' throwing the subject "App isn't installed" message... even tho (from my point of view) it is installed.
I *think* the earliest apps I've installed are OK, but more recent apps are prone to this issue.
I've uninstalled and re-installed the apps only to have them work for a day ( or reboot ) and come back with the message.
Suggestions?

Market won't show my apps after flashing Calk's 2.5.1 Full

Flashed Calkulin's E4GT ROM V2.5, Market worked fine first time I selected "My Apps". Second time I tried, I would get one of the following:
- "Apps and games owned by this account will appear here."
- "Applications and games owned by this account will appear here."
Tried reflashing the ROM
Tried clearing Market Cache and data
Tried Uninstalling/reinstalling
Tried downloading new apps from market (from both PC and device)
Tried syncing AppBrain
Tried Market Doctor in Titanium Backup
None of these resolved the problem.
Here's another thread reporting the issue for the Galaxy S II:

Any help resolving the issue would be greatly appreciated!
I can't believe there are no other responses to this. it doesn't matter what rom I run, weather it's custom or stock, I see this message and I can't get to my apps. definitely seems like a problem on google's end.

Certainly seems like a Google issue. This is an issue for me on stock and any other custom ROM (with or without Titanium Backup).
Contacted Market support and was told that they couldn't help me if I was on a custom ROM. I told them that I was on stock...so far no reply (it's been 2 weeks).
I did notice that this issue first started after I tried purchasing Read It Later Pro. Market shows that the app was PURCHASED and ready to INSTALL but the transaction never went through. This is when my trouble started. Like I said, so far no acknowledgement or help from Google about the issue.
I'm noticing that the "carrier" field in my Market Account -> Settings is blank (it should say "Sprint".

The application ROM Manager (process com.koushikdutta.rommanager) has stopped unexpec

Hi,
I'd like to start off by saying that I've flashed my Desire numerous times and it works fine, but I recently flashed my brother in law's and it's been acting up.
I followed one of the noob guides (root, s-off with alpharev) and put bravo_alphaspl-cm7r2.img on the phone.
I then flashed CM 7.1 (and also a bunch of other version). The flashing works fine. I reboot and when I go to rom manager and click on download roms it gives me the error message: The application ROM Manager (process com.koushikdutta.rommanager) has stopped unexpectedly.
Also if I flash google apps from recovery it flashes fine, but it crashes in CM.
What's I've tried:
-reflashing
-davlik
-fixing permissions
-redownloading all the files and reflashing (including md5 check)
I can't remove rom manager and reinstall it since it won't let me remove it.
Any ideas what I can do to fix this? I searched online and there is no concrete answer. Everybody seems to be guessing a solution, but so far no success for me.
Yes this is also the issue with my Desire and the solution is to reinstal Rom manager.
This worked for me.
Cheers
Nobody needs Rom Manager. All operations can be done with other and better software (recovery, GParted). Furthermore, it causes more problems than it solves.
So just uninstall it and never use it again.
but how do you uninstall it? there is no way to remove it from applications.
also google apps crashes when installed.
nevermind...now no error message anymore. No clue why.

[Q] Problem with latest nightly

I am running CM11 nightlies and updated to the latest one last night but had problems updating apps, which were giving me "insufficient storage available" errors. ROM Manager said there was a later ClockworkMod so I tried to update that via ROM Manager.
Now the phone on reboot comes up with 2 messages: "Unfortunately trebuchet has stopped" and "process com.android.systemui has stopped". I was running Nova launcher before the problems.
I've tried restoring a previous backup but the message is still the same. I've also tried factory reset but no luck. Has anyone any solutions?
Thanks

read 4 post on @Mr Hofs
And when you flash new ROM it is better to wipe the phone except SD card
Still doesn't help me get it working again now! The zip is not on the phone anymore and I'm not sure I can get it to mount USB!
Go to recovery and mount USB if you windows gives you error for drivers..Go to Control Panel > Device Manager > and there will be yellow mark on Android device,Storage or something..And just right click update drivers and Search in Windows Update
All fixed now thanks

Also, some people (myself included) got rid of the "com.android.systemui has stopped" errors by going to All Apps and finding the "Google Services Framework" app and clearing the cache, then rebooting.

com.android.systemui has stopped working error

Usually every time I exit a application that demands a lot likes games and emulators I get a error saying "com.android.systemui has stopped working" and when I click "Ok" it locks my phone so I have to unlock it again and opens the same application in portrait mode even if the same application is forced into landscape. This started happening for no reason I know. I'm using ViperOneM8 1.7.1 Rom and Elemental-X 0.19 Kernel. I think it may be something with the installed apps I have. I've just uninstalled SoftkeyZ to see if It would fix it because everything Else I've uninstalled has not worked. I have re flashed my stock backup and the same version of ViperOneM8 twice and still persist to be there. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

[Q] Which Google Play Services version is for the HTC One M9?

I believe I accidentally installed the wrong version of Google Play Services on my M9, now a few features are no longer available (Smart Lock), and a few apps are having issues (Google Play Music). The version I installed is 836. Apparently the version for the M8 was 038, however attempting to install this one gives me a "App not installed" message when trying to install. Going to Apps and attempting to uninstall updates to Google Play Services has the option greyed out. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hi. The version that you should have had installed before you updated is 7.0.99 (1809214-448)
If you can't find it, or it won't install, the only option left may be to factory reset.
Got it added last night:
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...ices-7-0-99-1809214-448-android-apk-download/
Thanks for the replies, unfortunately Android wouldn't let me install the correct version. It kept constantly saying "app not installed" upon hitting the install button. No delay or hesitation, just an instant "app not installed" error. I surrendered and did a factory reset and all is good again!
