[Help] Vibrate on Call Conect - App / Plugin / Solution !

Hello everyone !
Before switching over to the marvelous Galaxy S , i've been using a HTC HD2 and therefore - it almost became a habit for the phone to vibrate when a outgoing call made by me got connected / was answered !
Is there such an option on Galaxy ? Is there an app that can manage this?
I'd pay for such an app , i really find it useful. A friend of mine , owner of HTC Desire , told me , it's also present on that phone , so Android has that sort of an option.
I've searched the Market but found nothing like it. But i found a lame app that vibrates when a call ends. How is that useful ? Didn't get it
If there's anything to be done for this to work out , for me - and i'm sure others find it useful as well - thanks a lot for your effort and patience in reading this
Greets !
Cytowns Phone.apk does this, but afaik it can't be installed on stock galaxy s. Just wait for cyanogenmod to be released, it has this feature
Well,thanks a lot !
Do you know where i can follow whether this mod gets released and when?
Like a thread / link to it , or someething - if any !
Thanks a bunch !
Well you can install the phone.apk to any vanilla rom. You can't use it on the original firmware because of the touchwiz ui. There is one almost fully functional vanilla rom already made here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=757000 I don't know if it works on I9000 yet, though I remember someone reported that it works..
For cyanogenmod development you can go here http://forum.cyanogenmod.com/forum/83-samsung-galaxy-s/ It's actually for vibrant, but it will be ported to I9000 sooner or later

map the camera button to a hardware key

Hi all,
Just like to be able to use a hardware key instead of a touchscreen button for the dhd, I'm on 2.2 on coredroid which I love, I like the normal HTC camera app but i loathe the lack of a hardware key dedicated to the camera (not good HTC)
So does anyone have any idea how I / we can map either up or down on the volume to the take a picture button?
Thanks and I hope someone can help, a zip or apk would be fantastic.
Cheers.
+1 for hardware button camera shots
so far i know, you can do this with cyanogen firmware.
You should go for Cm7 but its a non sense rom

[Q] one question about on-screen buttons

hi.my question is this : is it possible to make this on-screen buttons for gingerbread? for me that have htc desire always pressing the physical buttons makes me nervous that in a near future they will have problems.i asked this questions for real.so take this matter seriously!
Try looking around in development. I'm sure someone has thought of this already. Or you can always try flashing an ICS rom and then applying the softkeymods.
Try ICS Beta for desire and then google mattman mods for ICS.

Not so convenient as soft-keys but can save/replace your hard-keys

[Dev. Question] Xperia S sensitive buttons in Stock and MIUI?

Already much has been said about the problems with the Xperia S in terms of the sensitivity of the 3 buttons on the bottom because it does not respond well to the touch...
But two days ago install a MIUI rom on my Xperia S and was surprised to see that 3 buttons worked perfectly and had no failures respond always to first touch ...
My question is: Where or in that file or configurations are those 3 buttons? and if they can be used in creating the roms based on Stock-Sony...
Thanks for read...and Sorry for my bad English
Free bump, anyone knows?

Does any of these essential apps ever work on our Wildfire S??

Hey mates,
I bet that our WFS is one of the good phones in the budget..
But whenever I need a special kind of app that I require...WFS always lags in it...
Apps I've searched for:-
1)Working Call Recorder - Have'nt found one till date..Speaker recording is ****..I'm talking about the two way internal recording..Is it there at all?
Anyone using it?
2)Alternate Call Answer - I've tried a lot..but none works as expected..Not even a single app picks up my call by shake or by Volume Buttons
3)Button Remapping App - The Capacitive buttons do not co-operate with it..
4)Volume Wake Up - With the default sense ROM is it possible? NO the "androidpolicy.jar" trick isn't working at all..
5)Volume or Search Button for Camera Shot ??
If at all anyone has solution for any of these...I would be extremely grateful..Would be helpful for fellow users too!
Thanking You in Advance!
For 2 you should probably wait a few seconds before answering....Given our phone's weak processor,it would take the app some time to recognize a call
Volume wake up is available on CM7,Cm9,CM10 based roms and all AOKP roms....if you want to have this option in sense,Hensemod has it....Download it from the website of Team blueridge
As for 5 many third party apps have that feature....look around for the app that suits your needs
Can't tell of 1 and 3 as I don't use these features......only did it once for fun, that too a long time ago
