Searched and didnt find this q but is there a way to disable the option when you plug in an audio cable when screen on it auto starts music app, that's Hella annoying.
Also, when playing music through blue tooth when phone becomes out of range music starts playing through external speaker, dumb.
Running darkside dw 2.5.1.

Hey everyone!
I've began using my car's Bluetooth to stream music as oppose to the usual auxiliary cable. One big issue I've notice is that Pandora won't pause the music after the BT gets disconnected. The audio just gets redirected back into the phone's speaker... I thought Pandora would pause the music like it normally does when you unplug your headphones... I tried using tasker to perform a "kill" app command when BT gets disconnected, but that doesn't work. I even tried doing a Media Pause when BT gets disconnected, but that didn't work either... Kinda stumped on what else to try.
Does anyone know a work around for this besides pressing pause before turning off the car?
If anyone knows some method to doing this please let me know. Thanks!!!
This seems to have been broken in Pandora starting at least with version 1.5.13. I found version 1.5.12 in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1202144
and it works well, pauses about 5 seconds after bluetooth disconnect so you still get a little bit of that annoyance, but it is tolerable. This version doesn't always show the album art (not sure what is up with that,) but that doesn't bother me.
While playing music on my un-rooted Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII, every time I unlock my phone the music switches from the headphones I have plugged in to the phone's speaker. When I un-plug and re-plug he headphones or pause and play the music, it switches back into the headphones. This issue is very debilitating as I am often listening to music in quiet places and it's embarrassing when my music starts blaring. Thanks for your help.

I have the opposite problem. When I listen to music on my headphones the music switches to the speakers when the phone locks. I guess you never figured this out. I know my problem is due to the lockscreen app "Widget Locker". When I deactivate it the problem goes away. Guess I'll head over to the widget locker thread and poke around. I'm on an S3 as well.
Edit:
I found a cool workaround by using the Tasker app. I made a profile which disables Widget Locker when i plug my headphones in and enables it when i unplug them. Seems to work pretty flawlessly.
Do you have gapless playback??

hi guys, recently I decided to move on from GB to jellybean.I flashed turbo 2.1 and slim bean last update with gapps, totally the ROM is very good but I have some prob. 1.auto brightness doesn't seem to work. 2.tried to listen to music speakers are ok.but when I connect my headset the ROM seem to play with the volume going loud and quiet, after some minutes of play suddenly the headset doesn't work!and speakers begin to play, goes from silent mode to regular sounds by him self and music player crash.I uninstalled Apollo and try power amp the same.winamp the same!very weird.and its the main prob! can't listen to music with headsets! 3.sometimes crashes without a reason. still don't tested touch pads and the slide buy gaming overall like shadow gun is OK!
update:dead trigger gamepad+touchpad don't work only touchscreen /: fps is very good especially for jb!
Really annoyed at myself for taking the upgrade to 4.3 as now I have an issue with bluetooth that I cannot figure out. Bluetooth audio to my reciever was perfect before but now it has the same problem no matter what app i use (tune in, xiilive, standard media player etc)
Basically the phone sends the audio but the speed varies. Like a song will play normal speed, then maybe speed up for a second, then the audio cuts out for half a second and its back to normal again. This will stream fine for maybe 5 seconds and again, any audio will speed up a bit, and cut out. Its only happened since 4.3. Anyone else have this problem or know of a way to fix it?
Well a bit of an update on this. It turns out it doesnt skip with music thats on the phone. So the stock media player and mp3s etc stream totally fine. Its just with audio that is streamed via apps like winamp, Xiilive, Tune in. They all have exactly the same problem as described above. However, the only way I can get it to stop skipping and run normally is if the screen is on and I am in the Wifi networks setting page. Its fine then, until the screen goes off, then it starts to skip again. This is so annoying now. Is it an android issue? Not connected to bluetooth through normal headphones or the Note 2 speaker, all these apps are perfect.
Hi guys, it's in the title really, every time I change app I lose audio if I'm listening to music while reading I can't switch between the two without having to play through the speakers and then replug the headphones while music is playing to get it back, any ideas what could be causing this?
I'm running AKOP rom
Cheers!
