hello people of XDA, today I come with a problem I emerged.
Following the appearance of new Xperia play ICS beta install decided to see how it worked, so I have to unlock the bootloader, in doing so I find that I can no longer update but my computer from SEUS.
I would ask for a solution to this problem, my back your original software XPlay, and to continue updating it with no problem
I leave the details of my Xperia Play:
Model: R800i
Android Version: 2.3.4
Compilation Number: 4.0.2.A.0.58
I'm from Mexico and I hope I can help.
Note: Only provide if you have tried this solution and are 100% that it works.

- download/install latest version of flashtool
- flash 4.0.2.A.0.58.ftf
- optional (flash doomlord's kernel and wifi modules/links are in my signature)
- restore your backups
- reboot
- back on stock 4.0.2.A.0.58

Would a stock rom restore Crash Bandicoot and Bruce Lee?
Not that I'm too concerned about playing them but being a noob with an android phone I've kinda deleted Bruce Lee (even though it still appears as an icon). I was wondering if I re-apply a stock rom for the Xperia Play would the rom file include the two included games: Bruce Lee and Crash?
Depends on the FTF file.

I've been playing around with the different SONY Ericsson stock ROMS after I did a test for the ICS ROM and some of that include Bruce Lee, but Crash Bandicoot should be included because Crash is pretty much the only playstation pocket game available when they released the phone. Hope this helps, and also there are links to all 3 different versions of the 2.3.4 Gingerbread ROMs if you go to the xperiagamer .com website and then select rooted zone, stock ROMs and choose 2.3.4 as it's the latest and choose the correct one,
Note the main 3 are for R800i and the other R800a.
Also there are guides on how to get things to work on this site, Ive used it for most of my needs.

I think it's just OCD - i either want Bruce Lee on there or not at all. The fact that his icon appears on my dash niggles me - enough to flash it and start again.

If you use SEUS with an unlock bootloader, your phone will brick. To relock your bootloader, flash the ftf file here. DRM can't be restored though.

before i will post my desperate beg for help i did hit the search button in forum i tried to search on google either and i tried several different keywords. and i did read lot of pages manualy.
Iam new user of Xperia Pro but with tunning spirit, so since i bought new (i know it is older but new for me) phone i play with it a lot. I already have unlocked bootloader and manage to flash few diferent ROMs.
I my favorite ROM use to be Buttermilk but since i discovered Xperia Ultimate HD+ i switched to ICS ROM. Till now the only thing which is bothering me on this great ROM is that i dont have Typing indicator when iam using HW keyboard. (that little thing which appearing on top of the screen next to the network signal Indicator when you are writing big or small letter or numbers). Iam using kernel Lupus v8. Do anybody know how i can bring it back there? I dont really care how to do that i just miss that thing and want it there so i dont have to often guess in which typing mod am i.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm new here so they wouldn't allow me to post on the Dev section, anyways, I bought my Xperia S with Android GB in it and it has been with me for a while so i keep updating it. I installed the last software Sony has (JB .96) before i started flashing custom ROMs, however, i noticed that the WiFI stopped working in all the JB versions (.200, .211, .96) and when i did some research i found that Sony has activated its restriction program on some countries these are Sudan, Iran and Syria, as far as i know. me, i'm from Sudan, i figured that the the device shuts down the wifi ONLY when it detects the SIM card, as when i try to remove the SIM of turn on AirPlane mode (then restart the Device to start on AirPlane mode) the wifi works just fine.
when the wifi is locked, i can still turn it on, but the device starts to get very slow and it keeps searching for networks forever, and when i turn it of it take a loooong time to do so. installing custom ROMs did not fix this problem as most of the ROMs are based on the JB builds. i tried other solutions like trying to change the country code and so, but still, no luck. i might have tried lots of things here but frankly i'm not a developer, but i succeed to flash ROMs and Kernels by following your instruction, which u do very well on it .
I though that you guys did not encounter this issue before because you are not is a in a country that is under "US sanction" , but i'm sure you would have fixed this problem if you have heard of it

just one last thing, I LOOOOOVE what you guys are doing and i really do appreciate it, i WANT to donate but, there we (guys from Sudan)

Can,t u just flash for example PureSlim KitKat rom? Im using it now, it's working 100% fine and much faster than JB or any modded JB. Im 100% there will not be any wifi restrictions here.

I'm from Sudan too and I'm facing the same problem as @BMBcin I've tried Zillions of ROM's to solve the problem (I don't know about the restriction thing but putting the phone in flight mode didn't help either , my friend have Xperia Z and WiFi is working fine for him ) if someone come up with a solution please post it here

after flashing slimbean zip package my xperia neo l get stucks at sony logo continuously for about 3-4 hrs and i cant even get into recovery mode.... what should i do??

flash stock ftf and custom kernel..than install the rom as i said in OP..dont flash all together..flash the rom, reboot, flash neo l patch, reboot.
i flashed stock ftf file then unlocked bootloader , rooted phone, installed cwm 5.1 for neo l
then after that i flashed slimbean 5.1 zip and it said installation aborted due to error!!!
i dont know how to flash the kernel as it is an .img or .iso file...??
sorry for bother you..i have problem..i can't see gallery or something like that to see picture or play video..currently i use slimbean v5.1.1

screen flicker issue
i flashed the slimbean rom successfully its working fine with no other issues than SCREEN FLICKERS .... even auto brightness is off.....please provide a fix for this...
Can you install doomskernel on the slimbean 5.1.1 rom?
I want to overclock past 1.6 ghz, but Lupus's kernel is locked to 1.6 ghz.
stuck on SONY TURBO logo
i have MT25i. after trying to install this rom device is now stuck on sony turbo logo.
i say what i did so you can tell whats wrong
1)rooted my phone
2)installed CWM and its recovery
3)my build was 4.1.B.0.631
4)fastbooted turbo kernel 3.1.1 using flahstools
5)opened CWM and wipe data twice. then wipe cache and didn't reboot
6)installed rom
7)rebooted by opening the battery
8)done the same thing for 2 other zip files
but right now when i put battery the sony turbo logo comes and after some time led is white and after that the phone reboots and this procedure goes in a loop
I have to say that i am able to go into recovery
and to let you know this is my FIRST TIME EVER to install a custom ROM.

If u have play u can use older version of doomkerbel, which allow oc to 2ghz or extremekernel which allow 3ghz, but device is less stable than on 1,6.
Dont know about neo l.

U need to format system, data and cache after u flashed turbo, coz it has different partition layoult and wont boot with stock one.

i did wipe data/factory reset
then wipe cache
is this enough?
No. u need format all three partitions (CWM->mounts and storage). Not sure about TWRP.
And dont forget about system, as its size too needs to be changed

I don't think the extremekernel works with jellybean. I tried it and it just puts me in a boot loop. I think it's gingerbread only.
Guys there is another problem. Wifi doesn't work. I use turbo kernel 3.1.1 and i have neo l
And also. The camera is the other way round

It won't work, but it's only way. There is no ICS+ kernel with OC higher than 1.6ghz. I'm not sire about DooMKernel for ICSbeta.

Are You usng Neo L turbo kernel or PLAY one? And if I'm not mistaken there need to be patch for Neo L, so rom will work.
EDIT: There is Neo L patch for SlimBean.

Wifi problem
I have changed my kernel to the neo l kernel and camera got ok and isnt upside down anymore
but about wifi. it connected in the first moments after installation. but now it doesn't recognize or connect to my network.
what do i dooooo?

If I need to guess, Your problem is that Your kernel has something called "wifi modules". They are different than rom has built in, so You need to flash it by Your own. Check kernel's thread for something like this.
Sorry that I didn't answer before, but I didn't check XDA for few days and as I'm not subscribed to this thread and You didn't mention me, I wasn't aware about Your post.

Developer says that the modules are included in the kernel detected automatically by the kernel

Hello everyone sorry my bad English.
I have a problem to which you want to install or rom Miui in my xperia S.
all of them are slow to turn on and when they call I can only go up to the selection of the phone erases languages. the strange thing is going on TWRP and every time he sees dismantled the system and the date may be the own TWRP but I can not fix.
