I was wondering if - like on ICS - the Google accounts could be switched in the Talk application on Gingerbread...
I was trying out one of the ICS beta ROMs and noticed that I could switch between user accounts in the Talk app. This isn't possible on Froyo/GB ROMs.
Any insights/info?
Thanks!

Hey all,
So our work activesync server is a bit out of whack, and _only_ the AOSP e-mail client will work with it. So far, the only ROM I've found for the E4GT with AOSP e-mail is the "EPIC AOSP Experience" one. That's a good ROM, but I lose several features (4G, some icons are wrong, etc). It's smooth, but I would love to try Blazer, etc.
However, Blazer and other ROMS with the AOSP e-mail.zip don't seem to actually flash the e-mail app. Nothing changes from Blazer stock to Blazer + AOSP e-mail.
So. Does anyone
1) know of a ROM with AOSP e-mail?
2) know how to get the .zip to work on Blazer? I asked in the dev thread but no joy.
thanks.
Hi, After monitoring great progress in Sanvolds Desire ICS rom, I've recently jumped from MIUI GB to Sandvolds ICS then I wanted more space so I loaded SLIM ICS Beta 0.13.1 (99% the same without all the extras). Rom is great and really smooth, now this is green recylcing at its best - ICS on a Desire!!
One or two features I liked I am missing from miui are:
Can I get the same/similar email and sms apps as miui (non bloated, just simple)?
There was a pattern lock features that allowed application lock too. i.e. I could lock my facebook or e-mail client apps. Can I get something similar, nice and simple not bloated?
Thx for reading
I recently upgraded from standard S2 ICS to CM9 stable for 9100G (definitely faster and more stable)
But I really would like the stock Samsung email client, as it has more options to handle email, such as sorting by read/unread status. Is there any way to install the stock client, and are there anyone knowing where to find it?
I do not want to go back to stock ICS ROM, as the CM9 ROM had a much better feel to it - except the email...
Here are some TouchWiz apps, which you can use on CM9, but email app is linked to TouchWiz, and you cannot use it without TW

Hi All,
I've been running Aero's CM9 for ages but would like to give Nit's UKB a shot. One thing I despise about Sense, however, is the messaging app; and I'd prefer to use the ICS AOSP messaging app, as well as dialer / contacts.
I understand that Nit's installer lets you choose which of the Sense apps you want or don't want (so I'd imagine I'd unselect the dialer / contacts / messaging / whatever else I don't want), however I'm wondering how to properly import the AOSP apps to replace them.
Looks like I could rip them from my own CM9 install and copy over via the method described in this thread - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1735507 - however it seems that the AOSP messaging is hit or miss in terms of getting MMS working properly.
I'm curious - has anyone here successfully replaced any Sense 4 apps with their AOSP equivalents? If so, what steps did you take?
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Best regards,
-Dirk
I have almost tested all the custom ROMs for Desire HD and came to a conclusion (my personal observation, and need not be true) that CM7.2 stable version is most fluid ROM for me. I have only one issue with this ROM that exchange mail does not support search function. and I have noticed that the present Jelly Bean mail APK is pretty good with lot of options. Is there a way to flash this over CM 7.2?
I have used K-9, Touchdown etc but do not like them. UI is pretty bad on both of them. Pls help. thanks.
I would say just nandroid and try it.
