Hi everybody !!!
I have purchased my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc there a few weeks, and I'm happy with this purchase!
I have unlock the bootloader, flash a recovery and the kernel " StockICS Beta Kerne" and the JJ's HYBRID ROM. (this ROM work perfectly !)
But I've just had one problem when I receive a MMS
the Picture's quality is realy ****y and the pictures is very small
I's Tested with many friends and the problem is always here..
I configured correctly APN of my operator (Orange France) and I don't understund why i have this problem, before I had a ZTE Blade and MMS works without problem.
If someone have already this problem and resolved it, I want to know how !?!?

first: excuse my poor english, i'm chilean and i have 15 years old
One month ago, i uptade my X8 1.6 to 2.1 via PC Companion. I don't like the update, the phone became slower than 1.6 version, i have problems with the screen during the calls, so i decided to back to android 1.6, downgrading the phone.
I used a tutorial from here using flashtool and the original software of my phone and company (x8 1.6 Claro Chile). Everything is okay, but i can´t synchronize my phone with my google account, so i don`t have market and gmail (i've verified and it isn`t a internet conection problem)
What can i do to resolve this problem?

U might try to flash a stock rom again? Im sorry, but I am not so acquainted with S/E phones. Success!!
Send from my Samsung GT-5800 with Kyrillos 5.7 Honeycomb and Fugumod Ultra under the hood.
Yesterday I changed to 4.0.3 ROM (MooDeD ICS ROM v.5.5 / xUltimate v7.5 Engine) and it works really fine.
My question is how can I change, is it possible to change the MAC-Address for wireless LAN? My wife and me, we both have an ARC. I don't know why, but the ROM changed the MAC-Address of both phones to the same address. So now it's not possible for us to use both phones in the same Network.
Whatsapp or google talk is not working when both are connected to the router.
Is there someone who could help me?

have u checked the post section of that rom? maybe you'll find the awnser there
still found nothing .. now we're fighting for the wireless LAN ... the looser has to use the mobile phone connection (EDGE) ... so not really fast

I have a huge problem with my Xperia Arc S. I don't know if it's due to the JJHybrid 3.1 or it's a hardware problem:
Sometimes, friends arn't able to join me. If someone call me, he directly get the mail box.
If I make a call or send a sms, I receive all the sms at once. Someone date back no more than 3 hours!
So, what can I do? Warranty?

You should have basebabd .72 + the libs for it flashed onto your phone (since your on ICS), if you do then re-flash your ROM... if the problem still continues its best to use your warranty
I have the correct baseband but I'm not sure for the libs. How check that?
I don't know if this problem is known with the rom. I would like to post in the Release thread but I'm only a junior member

i know this issue was discussed many times, but i want an update please :angel:
Acro S and Xperia S users who upgraded to JB .211 and are located in Syria or Iran are unable to user Wifi while having SIM inside the mobile.
solutions was to: 1- remove the SIM and use wifi
2- restart the mobile and turn on air plane mode
3- jailbreak and restart the mobile and use market enabler to change region and use wifi for a little bit then repeat this operation
I have stock JB .211 with jailbreak and i am happy with it (camera is good with HD video, nice speed, etc..)
is there any solution for this issue please (a software, or a new ROM or tweak)

In Iran WIFI works fine after upgrading to .211.
Did you wipe your xperia during the upgrade of .210 to ,211 ?
hi ,now,im using honami rom on my arc s ,everything is ok,except viber and whatssapp etc.
they cant connect to server ,and send pm on wifi,but via gprs they work fine.
i tested many roms and kernels,but no solution

Does WiFi work normally?
yes ,everything else is working correctly,wifi etc
recently,i changed the internet isp ,so that i changed the config of modem ,can it be the reason ?
its amazing ! i sometimes i can receive pm,but cant to send ! or see the online status !
