Can anyone recommend any good batteries that are 1500mah or above without extended doors off ebay or what not? At least something that works efficiently and not crappy with a decent price!
Thanks!
Anyone know of any good cheap batteries?
They aren't cheap, but the batteries for the galaxy s 4g are 1650mah... They have them in tmobile stores for $50 with a desktop charger included...
Sent from my SGH-T959 using Tapatalk
Ebay has plenty. should cost you between $10-$20 for two spare batteries and a battery charger
The 1650mah Galaxy S4G batteries are not sold anywhere yet I think. Tmobile sells the original Vibrant ones for $50....and that is a ripoff.
Amazon and Ebay have them for $15. That is ORIGINAL SAMSUNG 1500mah batteries for $15.
Will the extra 150MaH really help that much? Like would we see a big difference or are we just talking minutes?
I bought an 1800 mah battery from ebay, forgot the price. No extended door.

Have you tested it to see if it really is 1800 mah?
They are not 1800mah. Lol. If you are lucky it will be 1400mah.
See this topic. It has all the chinese batteries sold currently tested. As you will see, they LOVE lying to people about capacity.

Can you provide a link? I can't seem to find such a thing. . .
Also, anyone spotted a 1650mah battery? I wanna buy one.
For those wondering, the extra 150mah will be a 10% in battery life of whatever you are getting now. I get 23 hours currently with moderate usage so thats about 4-5 hours for me.
10% of 23 hours would be 2 to 3.

Haha sorry, you are correct. I can't do math it seems.
Have in mind my battery is old though...it's now 7 months old with being charged every night. The new 1650 will give me more than 10% simply cause my old battery is well...old.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good, bigger, cheap battery? I need one since my phone dies all the time lol.
Seidio's 3000mah battery is awesome. It lasts me about 18 hours with very heavy use and adds a rubbery grip to the phone that i love. It makes the phone a bit thicker but it's surprisingly cool looking compared to other extended batteries. It is a 1000000000x's better than having to worry about having a charger every single place i go or remembering to carry one with me for that matter.

Just went to T-Mobile said battery wasn't holding charge and they swapped it for a 1650 yay me

What do you mean "No extended door" - you don't have one or you don't need one or it didn't come with one or w hat?
I am looking for a replacement/backup battery. Where would i find an original battery for the atrix, or what is the best alternative.
It also must be standard size. Thank you.

Oh, dear god, DO NOT buy those ****ty ebay batteries. If a battery isn't at least $30, it will be complete crap. I recently bought one of these deals on ebay for two batteries and a standalone battery charger for $25 and the batteries don't last more than ONE TO TWO HOURS. I'm okay with that, though, because the only thing I really wanted was the standalone charger and those aren't sold without batteries.
If you need spare, long lasting batteries, buy a Mugen Power. Mugen's are, without a doubt, the best aftermarket battery and will last just as long as your OEM Motorola, if not a little longer. Don't skimp on battery costs because you get what you pay for and there's a reason why those no-name ebay batteries are cheaper than dirt. (Hint: it's because they're worthless.)
This is what you want: Mugen Power 1900mAh Atrix battery
I always buy the standalone chargers, though, so that way I never end up charging my phone via USB cable; instead I just swap batteries.
Just contact Motorola support, they should send you one free because your phone is still under warranty.

Why should they send anyone a free spare battery? Ugh people here just love taking advantage of warranties for fraudulent reasons.
Anyway, screw post #2, it totally ignores the OP's request. You can get yourself a BH6X from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Droi...ef=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1309970791&sr=8-1
Hopefully that links to the right bit, sold through and shipped through Amazon so you know you can trust it. Plus that way free shipping if you have Prime. I just got mine last week, it's definitely legit.

I actually have, sitting on my desk right now, one of these batteries. It's a legitimate, OEM BH6X, just like the battery that comes with the Atrix. For the Droid X, it's an extended battery, needing a new battery cover. Blame whoever wrote the listing for putting the wrong info there.
Says right on the battery 1880 mAh minimum, 1930 mAh typical.
I actually haven't been able to track down an OEM standalone battery charger though, so I'm using an Amzer one which is very basic and very cheap feeling but gets the job done.

Using 1800mAh battery on his Evo 4G and he love it. Had issues with the price at first but quality proved itself over buying cheap batteries from ebay or amazon. In the end it's cheaper to stick with a good battery.
Check them out, I'm on 3 days usage with 3200mah now.

1800mAh OEM socket battery
I'm using the 3200mAh battery from Mugen right now. With a new ICS ROM I'm getting about 18 hrs, sadly that is without 4G.
The Mugen batteries are showing horrible results on battery boss, the 1800mah is less actual mah than the stock OEM that comes with it.

If you'd make some research you'd find out that batteryboss was a project to throw dirt at all third-party batteries out there. The tests were biased and not proven. I'd suggest you trying the stuff yourself and make up your own mind. When the battery allows me to work on my phone for another 1.5 days, I don't care about some stinky site out there.
Are these batteries reliable, could they cause any voltage issues later on?

The Captivate Glide has only been out since Nov 2011.
Was the additional 7mm an issue for pocket-ability or weight ?

There's a slim extended battery as well, 1950mAh, which fits under the existing cover:
http://www.daydeal.com/product.php?productid=66232
http://www.mugenbattery.com/mugen-power-extended-1950mah-battery-for-att-samsung-captivate-glide/
So its either:
1950mAh slim extended, no added thickness, giving 18% more power.
OR
3600mAh fat extended with additional 7mm thickness, giving 118% more power.
I will definitely order one of these but still not sure which.

How much extra real life are you getting out of it over the standard 1650mAh battery ?
Found this extended battery on ebay, was wondering if anyone on here has tried it, i know it looks hideous, but if you know your making a trip somewhere it could come in handy if it works the way its supposed to. Its cheap as hell too.

9 bucks... can't be too great,
but what can you lose? lol
Seems to me that if the larger aftermarket brands have trouble meeting the stated mAh rating on their batteries, what more of unbranded ones that goes for an even lower value?
I also still have very clear memory on exploding phones from third party batteries years ago

Buy 2 stock batteries and solder them together. Works great.
3500 real mah. I didn't think the 2000 extended batteries would fit under the cover from the Hyperion I had here. I agree though, if I can solder it up in an evening, Samsung certainly could work up something.
hopefully more phones in the future will be like the razr and give us a factory extended battery closer to 3000mah.
Razr maxx when I had it for a week was sick! Hard use all day, charged every other day, seriously insane battery life. If that phone ever gets bootloader unlocked, I would be all over it again.

Have you done this solder thing? Any tips?
if you look at the battery in the phone you can see that there is some space at the top of each terminal, use this space to solder a fine piece of copper wire to a second battery. make sure to solder the batteries in parallel, positive to positive and negative to negative, to retain the same voltage.
i remember taking apart a so called 3500mah battery from ebay and they were just two cheap 1500mah batteries tapped together. Apparently in china 1500X2 is 3500.
Why does everyone want extended batteries? 99% of people have access to a power cord most of the day and just don't need it. Granted, I'm new to the phone, but I really hope I don't need to carry around a huge battery or two. Personally I'd rather charge it more often. Just my own opinion.

As long as you know that I don't see a problem. Spend $10, use it for 6 months, buy another one. Much better than spending $100 for a mugen.
