Watching movies on rooted nexus - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Is there anyway to bypass the bar on watching movies on a rooted device? I know you can watch on the market site but I find it slow and unresponsive at times! Anyway to be able to play through the app?
tapped on my nex.

You can download and try Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper from the market place, it removes root temporarily. That should help you use the play movies app.

Play Movies help

Google Play movies is now available for Australia and since the app was previously hidden from my app drawer because it wasn't available, I can't access the app. I have rented a movie from the store but I can't watch it at all. Is there anyway I can get the app to appear so I can watch my movie.
Note, I am using stock 4.0.4 with no root or mods and I want to stay that way. I tried Yakju and there is no movies app then I switched to Takju and still no movies app.
When I search for the app it says its installed but it does not appear in My Apps and its not listed under Applications in the Setting > Apps screen

Help with Play Movies

Google's Play Movie service is now available in Australia, but the app is hidden in my app drawer (I'm guessing because the service was not available previously and Google hid the app).
I rented a movie but I'm unable to watch it. When I choose YouTube to view it, it says unsupported codec or something.
When I search for Play Movie in the Market, it says that its installed.. but its not listed under "My Apps".
How can I get Play Movies to appear so I can watch movies?
Will greatly appreciate any help.

Same for me. It is listed as installed but I dont see it or can open it.
Is there a way to unhide it?
If you're rooted, use Titanium Backup to defrost it.
Mostly Movies, Magazines, Books and Sound Search (Google Ears) are frozen by default if you're outside US or Canada. I said mostly because for some users in some countries the apps are there.
Cheers!

[Q] Nexus doesn't load videos from Youtube

Hi, I have a Galaxy Nexus i9250 and I have a problem to watch videos from Youtube (app or any browser). When I click to play the video, the loading icon appears and take a long time, so appears a message saying that the application must be stopped.
I tested with my older phone, a Galaxy i5800, side by side with the Nexus i9250 and near to my wireless router. On the i5800 the video plays quickly without problems.
In other apps or other websites, the connection to internet is absolutely normal. Somebody can help me with this question? I don't know what can I do to solve this.
Thanks.
Are you using a custom rom? Have you tried reinstalling gapps?

I'm using the original Android version, 4.1.1 (updated).
I can't reinstall it because it's a native app, but I undo the updates and re-updated the Youtube app, but the problem continues. Would I do some factory reset? How I did this?
I recorded a video showing what happening: youtube . com/ watch?v=wZrduL_Sw00
Try wiping the cache from Google play services and the YouTube app.
