could you please help with this problem
when i connect my Xperia arc LT18i to the pc in the (Media Transfer) mode it says that i've connected an LT15 phone,, i don't know why?

and what about this message? "Phone Software update information currently not accessible" shown on the PC companion
but when i connect it as "Mass Storage mode" it says that i've connected an LT18 (not LT18i) and my phone is up to date

it looks like OP is using stock kernel+ROM
probably his phone is BL-locked (i guess)
maybe this is a bug of PC Companion?? i don't know.
I have same problem here, When connected on Mass storage mode pcc sees my LT18i as LT15, I didn't flash my kernel, all I did was root my phone, using wotan and Androxyde flashtool to root

but at the service menu ; i found the customization number is 1257-7770
which one is right ?

I saw so many posts of the Xperia ZL rooting process, but all of there builds and model numbers was different and the firmware too.
So got confused and not really want to break my phone as I will unable to afford another one. But I want to root my phone to use custom roms and many more things.
Here is a picture of the build of my phone, can some kind guy please post a link or how to unlock this thing...

use any the rooting process for 4.3 6502/6503 it doesnt matter both have same hardware jst different network bands n there is only one build of 4.3 yet wat may be different would be the region code

Sorry to bump an old thread but its still at the top of the forum. Anyways, I figured I'd just inform people that this can be flashed on a D5106 phone. However, the splash screen will be replaced with one that yells at you for mismatching firmware (oh well). It's a good way to free up more space from /system and have less bloatware to worry about.
So this is debloated? @dermo529

Bricked Xperia T3 D5103 while sony software repair
Hi.
My sony Xperia T3 D5103 was having sudden death problem, it used to stuck with no led no response to the keys, I had to wait for battery to drain completely to reboot. So, I flash the software and the problem still persist. So I planned to repair using sony companion, halfway to repair it gets sudden death, now i cant flash it because Flashtool ask me to enable usb MPT mode and sony companion doesnt recognise too. Please help.
