Hi, I am having problem after flashed the kernal / rom and now need to flash back to stock rom, however, flashtool keep saying I do not have the driver despite I installed them (by using the C:\Flashtool\drivers and open "Flashtool-drivers.exe") repeatedly.
So, my question is whether there is another way of flashing the .ftf file by not using flashtool?
(I tried wotan but I get repeated "CRC failed" error.)
Thanks mates.
change the .ftf to .zip, extract, then you will get something like .sin file,kernel.sin,system.sin,userdata.sin,change to .img, flash using fastboot, not really sure
fastboot flash boot kernel.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash userdata userdata.img
from the ARC

so when you want to flash ftf file, you are to unpack it, and than flash to your phone file by file, or you need to flash just the three you mentioned above? and how can I change sin file to img, does it actually matter whethet you flash sin file or img file? is the proccess the same with xperia S? thank you
No, don't change to .img,
Flash the files being as .sin itself..It'll work

yea, but all of them? coz when I unpack ftf file, there are maybe 10 .sin files and what would be the commands for flashing them? because as you might have noticed there are some difference among commands for flashing system.img, kernel.img and userdata.img
Yes all of them if you want to flash the entire rom!
If you just wanna flash kernel or baseband or userdata, just flash the individual packages.. The commands are given above by rashid.. Use them by adding sin instead of img.. Get it?

I mean I've understood that I can use the same commands for flashing .img and .sin files. I was just confused about when I have for example file named amss_fs_2.sin or amsf_fsg.sin(which are actual files of unpacked ftf package), if I need to flash them, and if yes, what would be the command? or is it enough to flash just the three of them above mentioned(system, userdata, kernel)? if I want to flash entire ROM. that's all what I am asking about.sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'd like to be sure about this. Thanks
No you should flash all of them.. The above files you mentioned are related to baseband.. So if you flashed baseband separately, then these files shouldn't be a problem i think so, but am not sure.. I don't know the commands though..

Changing .ftf to .img will just cause corrupted file.
FTF file can be flashed only inside Flashtool.

There are a lot of guides to answer the question "how to install flashtool" you only need to put it in c:\, install drivers for your phone from Drivers folder which is inside flashtool folder and then right click on flashtool64; active as administrator and then plug in your phone
I hope i helped, good luck

hi everyone, i have an E6833 running on 32.4.A.0.160
i received my phone today it was at maintenance service, so i came back and installed twrp on it (no root)
after restarting i got an update message 32.4.A.1.54 from system
the quistion is: can i install this update with an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed?
if no can i uninstall the twrp and install the update?+(how?)
if no again, what should i do?
thx
your best bet is to make a full backup.
Move the backup to your pc.
Download the update using Flashtool 0.9.23.2
install firmware after downloading ( exclude all .TA files in the lower window)
If you are going from stock rom to this update its possible to flash without wiping user data to keep your apps / data intact.
Fast boot a Recovery like TWRP
then reboot to recovery and flash a custom kernel. like PDesires YandereCore.
reboot and enjoy.
This is basically what I did for the current update on my E6853
Hit thanks if I've helped you.

its possible flash tool is not set to look in the correct folder.
Make sure you select Flash (not fastboot)
then make sure the location is C:\Users\*your profile name*\.flashTool\firmwares
after Flashtool downloads a firmware it auto extracts the firmware files.
so you only need to select the device (after its been set to Flash mode (Flash tool will direct you)
use the arrows next device tree, and go to the bottom arrow til you get your firmware.
I've made note of the Exclude TA files to tick all of these. to remove the TA files from your flash.
Make sure too. that you are using a USB 2 port. USB 3 ports have been giving errors with the current drivers on some systems

you can't Flash several partitions once you have upgraded to Nougat .
You haven't followed my recommendation to use SALT for extracting KDZ file that's why you have multiple system image files.
It's your decision if you follow recommendations or not but I'm out now

YOU MUST USE SALT!!!
Any other programm isn´t working. Cause every file generated from SALT ist fastboot flashable....
Then Search for a KDZ File for your Model and extract this. For bOOT partition it is not needed to take a N file.
System partition i do not know either.
Try again...and use SALT. otherwise nobody can help you without losing your data

when you start your Phone this is the way it goes:
Bootloaderstack (MM or N?) -> aboot (fastboot) -> boot (kernel + ramdisk) -> system (ROM)
Which Kdz have u used? MM,LP or N?
in Fastboot you could Flash TWRP in Recovery partition. If ypur Boot partition is fixed u could get to TWRP and set up an new ROM.

Good night. Although very nervous, I will try to summarize as much as possible.
I do not understand English, I'm using a translator;
About 2 weeks ago, I bought an LG-H815P (used - came in the box, with the same IMEI number and voucher) Stockrom with root, as I could not upgrade because of root, I decided to install a modified rom. Then my problems started: the device had the message [secure boot error / error code: 1002]. So I decided to install a new stockrom, I downloaded the LG site, tried it first with [LGMobile Support Tool], it did not work I did with [LG Bridge] as the program itself sent. By an unfortunate distraction I believe I have installed the wrong version Stockrom. My device simply erased, did not give a sign of life. After following some tutorials on the internet I was able to recover it with [QFIL], I installed all the drives of the tutorial I followed, at the end of the process instead of going into download mode, it enters [fastboot mode] and does not leave it. I tried several times the procedure [volume up + plug the USB] for a second the image download mode appears, but soon it goes to screen [fastboot mode] and does not leave it, never. I read something about the SALT of steadfasterX (I think because of the tiredness and insistence I could not understand) I do not know if SALT is a program or a procedure, the language also disturbs me. I'll try to post the image that appears on the phone so they understand. I apologize for the long text. And from now on thanks to the will. Please help me, I need the device working, I'm very tired of moving all these days without stopping in it.

Simply... You can't without root.
To get root (permanent root) you must unlock your bootloader........
Please, read this post to understand what i'm talking about https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/nokia-g21-development.4424031/
I think that today there's no way to unlock G10/G20/G21 bootloader. Then, no root or custom recovery can be build.
Maybe, @mvikrant97 can share with us some info (PM).
I unlocked my g20 TA-1343 by taking a hundred tiny screws out , shorting the test point, and using MTK Client 1.6
hyperlink of the link i pastedhttps://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
I only took it apart because the other option was send it back to HMD
But I don't know how to flash the bin files with magisk or whatever as they're not valid images. but the thing is basically root if i felt like learning.

the bins would flash the same as images except I can't get them to flash. should I try another firmware or?
Hello everyone !
I am French and my English is very bad so I will use Google translation to communicate with you!
This is what is happening.
Without doing it on purpose, I flashed the original boot with the unofficial TWRP one!
Since then, I can no longer use my phone and I no longer enter the RUI3 interface.
I used Realmeflash.exe to reinstall the firmware and it gives me an error message "cannot find central directory".

Do you know how to solve this problem?
Thank you for your help !
I had the same problem you gotta get the MCT OFP extractor tool and QFIL, you extract everything with the MCT tool and then use QFIL to flash but the super.img is broken up into multiple files which I Have no clue how to merge so I'm stuck for now but if I get it working I'll be sure to tell you

I already tried !
According to Google the .exe is infected with a virus, but I used it anyway, because I know it can be a false positive.
During use, the flash does a lot of "Success" but also "Failed", because of data protection on certain files!
Arrived at "service.img", the flash stops and nothing advances!
I recently unbricked my GT ME using this flash tool only. Realme flash tool doesn't support AB partition & dynamic partition table. It is the only working tool to flash through fastboot. After flashing completion change slot
fastboot getvar current-slot
fastboot --set-active=a or b
fastboot reboot

Hi, I got my phone back from this scam repairman!
He damaged my phone even more than I left him!
Could you send me a screenshot of your c:\adb\dir please!
I no longer have recovery mode and the repairman told me a lot of things that I supposedly did during the flashing to get rid of his bull****!!
Thank you.
@urstrulynaveen Otherwise I tried what you told me and I got this!

I already did, I have this command line that appears instead !
When I launch the program for slot A, it's very random when it blocks !
On the image, it's xb1_config_a which bug !
And when I close the window, it gives me success before it disappears !
In general, I have 50% success and 50% failed !
The furthest file that gave me the bug is the "super" file !
Apparently it is cut into 5 parts with the OFP extractor.

Every partition flashes in both slots except super partition. Super partition only flashes in inactive slot, that's why u need to change the slot. Super partition flashing takes around 25 to 30 minutes you need to be patient. & After flashing check slot and change it

Thank you very much for helping me, it motivates me not to give up !
Did you receive a lot of failed during flashing ?
@urstrulynaveen
Problem solved...everything works! !
I'm in the interface and everything seems fine at the moment.
The flashing problem was what you said for the "super" file, but the main problem was above all the fact that I wasn't using a USB port on the motherboard !
Were you able to root the phone ?

It's very easy !
1. You download the latest firmware
2. You put your phone in fastboot mode
3. You connect your phone with the original cable to an available port on your motherboard
4. You open the "OppoRealme-OFP-Flash_1.0.exe"
5. You choose the "most logical" options
The files will install one by one and you may get a lot of errors!
Leave it, the program will continue and at some point there will be a "super" file which will take a long time to install (30 minutes), you wait and then you will see your phone restart as if it were brand new !

You don't need TWRP for root, just get unlocked bootloader and get the boot.img file from your rom and use the Magisk app to patch it then flash it with fastboot
Code:
Fastboot.exe flash boot magicbootimg.img
Same device and same rom, rooted already

Download the Full ROM (Fastboot) which is bigger and you can find the "boot.img" easier.
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/
I have downloaded the ROM from https://c.mi.com
Official Xiaomi Rom download site but the fastboot logo changed and I no longer have the bunny on fastboot
Send me a screen shot of your about screen and I will send you a modified boot.img but you can do it yourself from the link I sent you. if you look at their download links they are all from mi servers.

First you need to unlock the bootloader
Then follow these steps:
1 - Download the Fastboot ROM file for your device
2 - Extract the boot.img file from the ROM file, then copy it to your device's storage
3- Download the Majesk app and install it, then flash the boot.img file from inside the Majesk, you will have a new file named Majesk_patch.img in your downloads folder, copy it to your computer
4 - Then download the ADB platform and open it and open the command prompt from within the folder "Make sure to copy the file that you flashed into Magisk from copying it into the folder"
5 - Put your phone into fastboot mode by pressing the power key and volume down, then connect it to the computer, and type the following command at the command prompt:
fastboot flash boot boot.img " Here is the file that I copied inside the adb folder after changing its name to boot.img"
Then type the following command to restart the phone:
fastboot reboot
Congratulations, your phone has been successfully rooted
*I apologize if my writing is bad because I use Google Translate because I am not good at English*
