Despite the fact that I have it sent me to 30 seconds time off. Any ideas why?It dims but won't turn off unless I manually use the top button.

I have a MDA 3. I am facing following problem..
- Can't power it off. Power buttom only works on powering on, but not on powering off.
- At the same time, the volume window pops up (with two volume sliders, "on", "vibrate", and "off), and the left slider automatically slides up on its own, preventing me from accessing anything else. When I try to do something else, go to Programs, or else, this freaking Volume window keeps popping up, and left slider keeps going up and stays up there.
When I try to decrease volume, it keeps going up right after I decrease it. And the volume window is almost constantly popped up.
From time to time, it disappears, allowing me to do something for several seconds or even minutes, but then pops up again.
Yesterday, I even managed to do something for several minutes without it, and even managed to turn MDA off, although I had to press the button for a second longer than usual to turn it off. Today, no luck, can't power it off. If I press it for a bit longer, it just goes in "dimmed" screen mode, but stays powered on.
If HR does not help, 90% chance that you have some hardware problem - stuck key, short circuit or broken connection from keys to the mainboard.
I've set my phone screen to not lock when I turn the screen off using the power button. But I'm finding that pressing the volume, menu, home or any button is then turning the screen back on again, which is great except my screen timeout is set to 30 mins, and my battery gets eaten when im hitting a button by mistake in my pocket.
Is there a way of locking all buttons except the power button to turn the screen on and off? Im used to using my phone this wy in WM, and hopefully I can mimic this use with Android too.
Thank in advance
Here's E4GT root and install custom rom GB27 one. Every working fine till couple day ago, it automatic turn on even I shut down completely.
Here's what I have tried.
When it on normally, the screen keep alive.. I press the power button to turn on screen, 1-2min later the screen turn on again. I set the screen timeout for 15sec. After 1min later, it turn on screen again.
Another rare thing, When i completely shut off, it'll automatically turn on again... Only if i completely remove the battery off.
Lets say my screen timeout is 15 secs. After 15 seconds, the screen turns off. If I don't turn the screen back on right away, the note 2's screen would just stay off and I think the phone shuts down too. I can't really do anything except remove the battery. I'm using stock rom on my note 2. Any solutions?
I guess the tablet isn't actually powering down, it's just going into sleep mode, or whatever it's called when the screen shuts off. Anyway, is there a way to keep this from happening when the tablet is plugged into the wall charger? It isn't a major deal but it is sort of annoying when I have something large downloading or have the tablet otherwise doing something on its own, but I'm not actively using it. I like to walk by occasionally and check in on things, but will often find that the tablet has shut off. Then I have to turn it back on, swipe the screen, or login if I have security on. Anyway, it would be much nicer if it would just stay on when plugged in. I've looked through the settings and can't seem to find anything related. If it's there, I'm missing it.
Thanks.
There are different between shut off and standby (sleep mode):
1- Shut off: Your tablet is shutdown, the only way to turn it on is power button.
2- Standby: the screen is off, you just need to press power or home button to turn the screen on in 2 seconds. In order to prevent the screen turn off so quickly, you only need to change the screen timeout to 10 or 30 minutes. If it turns off by itself, your tablet has a problem.
Mine can standby a whole week and it only loses a little charge when waking up.

There is no 30 minute screen timeout on my Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The most I can set it to is 10 minutes, and that's where it's at.
Thanks anyway.
