Try this custom rec
format your sd card, or insert a a new one preferable Class 4
after that
attached is the file.
Usb debug on
install it
usb debug off
restart it
open the software and boot into recovery.
hope it works.
Thanks

Hi there
I have recently just unlocked my bootloder and i am trying to flash SETweaked through recovery. I installed Blend kernel v2 and then booted into recovery but it won't let me do anything because it says that it can't mount my sdcard. I also booted into CWM_for_Arc.img, but still the same problem.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
cheers guys

Did what you said and all is working perfectly, thank you very much. This is now solved but may help someone else in the future.

just download and use SDFormatter 3.0 to format your SD card
it works for me ...
if not , you must use Flash Tool to Flash Kernel & Offical Rom too
So you just need to format the SD card into FAT32? wouldn't all the files inside be lost?
Hi,
I can't mount the "sdcard" when I'm in recovery, I just get an error like this: "Unable to write to ums lunfile"
I run the latest CWM on a Galaxy Nexus GSM.
What should I do to get this working?
I am having the same issue, if I try mounting usb storage or sd card I get "Unable to write to ums lunfile"
I'm using v5.0.2.7 and I want to know if it's the version of cwm or whether it's my phone.
Help please
The phone does not support USB mass storage., therefore it will not work.

so how can you flash roms.. ?
What? You use MTP to put roms on the phone.
hey people, i've lost some data (precisely a file .dat that was containing all my messages) and would like to recover it, but if i can't mount USB Mass Storage how can i recover this file? Is there an app that recovers from MTP and PTP devices? thanks very very much, it's really an emergency!
Is there any way to access the internal storage whilst in CWM?

NO. I found this out a while back. Because as stated above the Nexus uses MTP and not USB to connect it is not possible to see your internal memory in CWM.

So, if a solution arises, it would be from the side of CWM, right?

I don't think so. I think it would be Google would have to allow USB support. Then CWM would work.

Couldn't CWM "just" enable MTP support in their recovery?

If you mean the content of /sdcard:
Shure, boot into cwm recovery, mount data and you can find all your sd card/user data via adb under /data/media/.

It does. I'm just looking at it. Get adb in recovery working and see for yourself.
I think they're saying it doesn't work in the traditional sense. ADB does work though, as shown above

You are right, mounting as UMS doesn't work. But Janzomaster later asked "Is there any way to access the internal storage whilst in CWM?", which you can (via adb).
Well, just hitting a button and you can access the files through the explorer would have been perfect. But adb is a good alternative to have
This litte app comes in very handy: https://qtadb.wordpress.com/
GUI for adb, including file explorer -> perfect for CWM recovery

Format your USB flash drive as fat32 transfer your rom boot to recovery and connect your USB drive, Philz recovery will mount it automatically, some times Philz recovery can't see it, to fix this reinstall from recovery the same recovery and when you boot back to fresh installed recovery connect your flash drive and recovery will see it. Philz recovery also can see ntfs etc but prefer to format your flash drive as fat32.
Send from my phone
I just got a FireTV, it's rooted, on the latest pre-rooted 51.1.4.1_514013920
I've tried to mount a few USB flash drives (16-64GB, NTFS or FAT32 formatted) via a USB hub and directly plugged into the USB port on the AFTV. I can't get it to work. I'm using the latest version of StickMount installed from the Google Play Store and also tried adbFire the USB mount option.
StickMount doesn't do anything and if I try to click Mount or Unmount again it says the service is busy.
adbFire shows a /usb/drive1 via SMB but it's empty, it's not the actual flash drive.
How do I troubleshoot this? I must be missing something simple.
hi you could try Busymount: http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-tv/development/busymount-v1-0-t2920146
which mounts the drives on boot, much better than stickmount and can be customized to your needs.
Uninstall Stickmount first though as i think they conflict.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I should also try to see first if I can see the USB flash drive from CWM, it will at least tell me everything is fine from a hardware perspective.
I installed BusyBox via adbFire, is there some other version of BusyBox required? BusyMount says it comes with BusyBox but I'm not sure whether that means it replaces any existing BusyBox or it installs its own version for its own use.
Also, what is the recommended format for external flash drives for best performance, to be writable and to be able to use from CWM to flash new ROMs, etc.? ext4, FAT32? Does it matter?

im not sure what formats work best but it depends on the type of files. Ive always used NTFS for big drives and FAT32 for flash usb.
and i installed it via adbfire also, think that is all u need.
