Thanks dude.but I would appreciate if its the stock navigation apk because it integrates with google maps.
Actually the problem is my Android is a different one that requires data connection for
GPS navigation however my friend uses it for free without internet on his Sammy y.
So just asking from you guys because someone would have made the backup of stock apps right?

the reason why he can use navigation without internet is he didnt clear cache, so data he collected with internet ON remains the same only GPS will show him where he is
anyways stock maps.apk contains navigation, so just push this to ur ROM
or use market unlocker to install this(not sure of name)

I take no credit on this Fix. I just happened to find it and was astounded in the change in performance and thought I would share it here. After applying Mitch0115 Fix I was getting 11/11 sat indoors with 5 M accuracy. YMMV
Original thread is hear http://rootzwiki.com/topic/21453-optimal-gps-settings-for-galaxy-nexus-cdma/
Not this is different than the AGPS patch already posted here on XDA. I had tried that one and did not get anywhere near as good of results.
Please give Thanks to Mitch0115 and also let's hear your results.
My Results this morning indoors:
EDIT: This FIX is mainly for US users. However it may work for you. Some users have reported it working in other areas. YMMV Not sure if the file can be edited to use other country servers or not.
Flashed, and seems it work.

The same for me, I have tried clearing agps data and other apps and Fixes posted here but this one works the best for my GSM Nexus at least.
Just try it you will be amazed!
you should write that this is meant for .US folks only, since it's us servers in the .conf file.
it's NOT for people in germany, like myself, for example.
for non-us region, the file needs to be edited a bit i guess.

just flash it through CWM just as you would anything else. You can backup with nandroid, or just backup the file gps.conf with a root explorer before you flash the fix. The file is at /system/etc/

I would rename your current calender to .bak instead of .apk so you still have it. Then using root explorer move this apk to system/apps the long press it. Click change permissions and I believe they should be set to rw/r/r. Good luck!

It's pretty simple. However this process still did not work on my rooted SGSII. But for future reference of these types of system files here ya go.
- Use Root Explorer to place the file in the System/App folder in the directory
- If the new file is a different name then you can easily just place it in that folder ( of course you have to change Root Explorer to R/O mode instead of R/W mode ) - ( if its the same name then just rename the old file to something you can remember )
- Permissions for most apps would be RW, R, R. Just click on the file and select "Permissions". After you do that you do need to re-boot the device to save the settings.
Note: I did try this with this calendar and it did not work. We actually need a SSGSIII Calendar ported to work on an SGII. I am not smart enough to make that happen. Although I would like to be able to do such things someday. Hope this helps at least for future reference.
I'm pledging $10 towards the Dev who can get the S-Calendar ported yo the T-Mobile SGS-2. Maybe more if it is done by Monday. I know it's not a lot, but it's what I can give.

hey man, thank you very much. very helpful!!
although, I cannot install it on my nexus (i9250).
thank you anyway.
Sorry to bump an old thread, but this seemed like the most relevant place to post.
I recently put CarbonROM on my phone and, after playing around with it for a bit, realize I absolutely hate the google calendar and just want my old calendar back. I downloaded the apk provided in this thread and attempted to install it but it says I already have the app. Sure enough, if I go to Settings > Apps, it shows up as Calendar Storage, but there is no icon anywhere, such as in my app drawer, that allows me to load the program. I even tried using QuickShortcutMaker, but it can't find the calendar anywhere in the list of apps to make a shortcut. Does anybody know what I can do?
Same situation here with carbon Rom.
Anyone know how to get it working?

I am not sure, but it would seem, S Planer doesn't work on any other ROM than the Samsung Official ROM.
I don't know why... I've testing a lot of possibilities (replace the original AOKP's apk by the Samsung's apk, do a wipe Dalvik, wipe cache, modify the permissions...), a lot of apk (recovered here, recovered on an original v4.1.2 samsung's ROM, recovered on the testing v4.2.2 Samsung ROM...), and it never work on my CyanoGen Mod 10.1...
It isn't an incompatibility with an other home than TouchWiz because I've never use this home with my previous Samsung's ROM and S Planer working correctly...
I will continue to looking to do working S Planer with an other ROM, but I have little hope... :crying:

You know a zip for the stock firmware of your choice has all the APK's in it as well not need to go to an unscrupulous website.
I have decided to make a post with everything that I have done to my M to solve some of the issues I and many others I have found had with it.
I suggest you root your phone to get the full benefits of it and these modifications: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1940630
How to unlock your bootloader: http://vulnfactory.org/blog/2013/04/08/motorola-bootloader-unlocking/
1. Run and function in full screen mode (No Nav Bar) (UPDATED!)
Easy way:
Download full!screen from the app market by tsorn, what makes this aspp so great is that you can set it to turn full screen on only when selected apps are running then you can optionaly set function keys to be placed in the corners for things like a back button, home, or menu, its really great!you can even set the size and opacity of the buttons, as well as location!, this app has made my razsr all i dreamed it would be!
Harder way:
This will require a app called HideBar (shocker..) found on the market it allows you to either use widgets or a system notification to hide/unhide the system bar at the bottom of the screen with multiple options on showing it again, to control your phone without your system bar I use LMT ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150 ) it allows you to control your phone (Back, Home, Search, Menu) with gestures, Input number is 5, please follow the directions in the post, there are others apps that do this as well, all with differnt features, look around. This is great to play games in full screen.
2. Wifi Tether
Follow this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1981625
3. Moving Apps 2 SD
This is somewhat a PIA until you get the hang of it but can be done using a app called Directory Bind, Official Thread: ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262 ) discussion on using it with the M here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1913576
There is a easier way to do this if you just want to move large games over 1gb look for gl2sd in the market I tested it on my M and it works fine.
4. Notification Toggle widgets.
This is done using a great app with a amazingly helpful dev called "Notification Toggle" which can be found in the market, it supports all the great Cyanogen Like Toggles that we all love, works better if installed a system app which is really easy!~ just follow the help link in the app to see how he gives multiple examples. This is very customizable sp? from widget button styles to colors and more!
5. Fully working Android 4.2 KB with Trace!(Think Swype.)
I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD! Uses trace like swype and swiftkey, but IMO much much better, less memory, way more accurate and a cool preview function as you "swype". thread found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1964663
If you have any other great improvments you would like to share post them and I will add them to the list!
Thank you!, Hope this helps some of you enjoy your M a little more then you do.
P.S. Feel free to pm me if you need help finding or getting hold of any of apps! however if you Google "Aptoide" I think you will manage getting everything you need to set up your phone very, very, cheaply.
I take no credit for any of the information provided, this is simply a consolidation of information i found useful to modifying the overall enjoyment of my phone.
Gonna give that Notification Toggles widget a shot thanks!

Welcome, its great I changed my background to match the color of the drop down and it looks built in, ill post a screen later.
Also added #5 the android 4.2 Keyboard!
so for the 4.2 keyboard do you just switch apk's or is there some other method to installing it from the "4.2 mod package"?
edit: seeing the stock rom is odexed I'm guessing you just install the apk instead of replacing the stock one?

For full screen you should try full!screen by tsorn It's been working for me. I have been using the free version. The paid version you are supposed to be able to setup full screen for only the apps you want full screen when they are run.
Thank as for the tip ill check it out now sounds more of what I want anyway

Like Internet Download Manager for desktop, is there anything like that for Android, reliable, fast, has the option to pause/resume files, multi threaded and all?
I have found one version of IDM (1.0), however I don't think it's an official one, it has been pulled down from Play anyway. Also there is Loader Droid, but it doesn't provide a stable pause-resume option. There is also Advanced Download Manager, Download Manager for Android and so on...
