Here you are:

Let me know if that doesn't work.
Extract it with a file manager, and put your app in the app folder. Rezip and flash.
EDIT:
Fixed , tested, and uploaded at 9:34 p.m. central.
Sorry about the 1st one.
I gave it a try with several different apps. It aborted install and gave a status 6 code.
I followed your instructions to the letter. I I also tried through astrology by dropping app in app folder....this way I wouldn't have to unzip and rezip. Gave me same error.
I love this idea for non system apps.

Hey, sorry. I fixed the other one, tested it, and went ahead and made one for system apps as well..Dalvik will need to be wiped for either of these after flashing, of course.
Here's the system one:

Hey everyone,
When i turned my phone on today, i noticed that the Android Market is completely removed from my phone!
I have tried installing it again using a .apk and also tried installing it using a .zip and flashing it via recovery, but they both have not worked...
any idea on how i could get this back?
Rather than use an apk you've put on your SD card card yourself, use a file explorer to go to system\app and run vending.apk from there.
This worked for me when the market was missing after flashing a new rom recently.
I did get a couple of download errors when I first used the market, but after a couple of rebooted it was fine.

It says "Activity not found - com.android.vending
No way!
Sorry man, I don't know what else to do.
Maybe it can be pushed or pulled or something through adb, but I don't know how to use this.
Keep asking though, someone will be able to help....

maybe this zip will flash for you...?

Alright, I have no clue as to why this is happening. I went to every remedy with no working solution. Tried nearly every Rom and changed kernels.
I have uploaded a screenshot of what I get when I try to boot bt5, any help is appreciated.
Also when I go into any file explorer to find the "existing" file no such file is found, even formatted SD card to get the same error.

looks like whatever version of busybox you're using isn't working properly, try a different one
I've tried every version of busybox they have. Nothing seems to work. It's always the same errors.

so I am not sure where I went wrong and I have been reading some threads and trying what people are saying but I think I am making it worse.
I have
Clean Gb build 16
then I added in Marcusant speed tweaks
the first issue was that instead of showing up as Clean GB in the about phone it shows as Mar... Revival Rom
I was told I could just go in and change the name here so i tried. didnt work out as hoped I think I may have changed the wrong file because it still says the revivial one.
I wanted to update to the newest Clean GB so I said screw it and went to Clock work mod and Wanted to do a full restore.( i backed up just before installing the speed tweaks)
I got an error and it said md5 mismatch
So I figured I would just reinstall Clean Gb as the zip was still on my phone and I had also had done a titanium back up would install clean gb and use that
I tried to install it and got an error and it went to a wierd screen with a lil android guy and an exclamation mark.
Id like to get on Clan Gb latest build and not have to spend 10 hours re -setting up all my contacts and main page and stuff if I can
Any ideas here.
I guess my next step is to do the factory reset from clock work and try to install again??
O I do not have access to odin at this time
Thanks!
First there are 2 entries in build.prop that have Marcusant revival that need to be changed. You would edit the one in the zip and then reflash. You can get the exact lettering from CleanGB's build prop. The other issue sounds like you sd card is going bad or corrupted. You can back it up, reformat it and restore and try again.

I did it on my PC. It is so much easier to cut and paste across build.prop files.

Anything should work. I just checked and it defaults to Wordpad on my Windows 7 laptop.
---------- Post added at 07:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:12 PM ----------
These are the lines you need to find and edit:
ro.build.display.id=
ro.rommanager.developerid=
ro.modversion=
The 1st and 3rd are the ROM and the middle one is the email address ROM Manager uses for the developer.
My tweaks wouldn't cause an md5 mismatch of a backup or CWM to not work. Seems as if you need to re Odin Cwm. The only thing my tweak might do is break ROM manager . Just go manual.

this was a good read. i was attempting to add marcusant speedups to cleangb as well. *taking notes*

Sorry If it sounded like I implied that I dont believe your speed tweaks did that. just found that issue when trying to use the back up.
Thanks for the info guys im stuck on this for now until I can buy a pc. I had been doing everything without pc. I have never odin-ed or anything so this will be all new
Just reflash your ROM to remove the fixes.

Unrelated to the epic...I rooted my sisters phone while she was visiting over the weekend. She had to leave before I could flash CM7 on her phone so I'm doing it remotely right now. Her phone is old and has no support really so I'm asking here. When I try to boot in CWM it won't. I have figured out why but cannot fix it remotely. Is there a way to get gapps installed without going through CWM? Like download the .apk files individually and install them so she can at least log into her google account until I can fix it?

I think maybe you could download the gapps zip, extract it somewhere, and copy the apk files into the /system/app folder on the root of the phone. You'd have to use a file manager on the phone with root access, I recommend ES File Explorer, if you use this one then you have to tic a couple settings: Up to Root, Root Explorer, and Mount File System. After you copy the files into the system/app folder (ON THE PHONE, NOT ON THE SD CARD) then reboot the phone and should hypothetically be working.
Without having gapps, she will need to install amazon app store to get es file explorer, unless you want to track down the apk for it for her. As long as her browser is working she should be able to download the amazon app store without any trouble.
Thank you! Will give it a try.

Hm it keeps saying copy failed which sounds like there is no root but there is and things can be deleted. Anyone good with adb know if it can be flashed that way?

Weird. It installed googleservicesframework but nothing else. I still can't write anything to the root but I can delete. Its like I have half a rooted device. But I get an "install parse failed no certificates error" when I try anything else.

I want to make a zip file comprised of all the apps I normally use. In the form of APKS. Can someone maybe point me in the right direction as to how to accomplish this?
I tried using an already made zip and replacing the apk in the zip file with all of mine. They installed but a few were completely screwed up.
Skype kept force closing over and over again. I was getting spammed by the force close dialog box and couldn't do anything at all lol.
I'm just lazy and would like to flash them all at once after flashing the rom I'm using.

Not sure how you are zipping and extracting but I do something similar with no problems thus far. I add my favorite gizmo apps (so I don't have to download them again) by modifying the rom prior to flashing with the android kitchen. There's a few extra steps I take to add/take away the desired apps but it's all relatively easy. Read the thread below (see link) and thank dsixda profusely! :good:

It's a pretty useful tool for doing other things too once you get the hang of it. If you got any questions just holler.
