Hey guys,
You might be knowing TeamCooper or might not. For those who don't here is our small intro.
We are a group of enthusiastic devs working for the betterment of the Android world. We are from the Samsung Galaxy Ace forums. We have some awesome devs like jusada, nims11, slaid480. Till now we worked for the ace but now would like to support other devices as well.
As you know we don't have the hardware for this. So instead of doing it ourself we would like to recruit the devs from this forum in our group. Anyone with Android knowledge is welcome (devs, themers, modders, etc). To join us please link your work in this thread.
Our work is posted in the ace forums. And we are the group that ported MIUI to the mid-range devices.
PS : Your work will remain solely your.

Team MIU-Y is hiring. Team MIU-Y is a ROM development team. This will focus on building ROMs based on not working ROMS such as CM7 just to give you the look of CM7 and make you feel, yes, you have a CM7 working phone. This name can be changed depending on the Votes. MIU-Y is just for reference.
Prior knowledge required (Any two) -
Resizing and changing icons
Building ROMs with dsixda kitchen (Not mandatory)
Themeing knowledge
Framework-res and tw-framework knowledge
Know what to remove and what not to in system folder

Assistant - 1 - Knowledge on sources
Developers - 10 - At least 2 complete projects

And I would like you to edit your comment and remove everything as I have all of them now.. There are many "official cheaters" here who take up something's and put them in a place where they don't belong and gain thanks for that..

Don't worry. The 14 toggle status I was working on is now almost complete. Resizing is getting tooooo difficult as I am going through a lot of problems with Photoshop. Some pics go easily whereas some get distorted.
That problem is only with my PC... Dat is why I want more an more ppl.

LDPI. Dens-120 i guess.. 133 ppi.. 832 mhz... dont remember the ram n internal ;P
Btw can you giv me links of ur works? You know, we have alot of NOOBS here calling them the "DEVS"

LOL! You act as if you are a "pro" dev! I meant something else from my previous post and it was not offensive. I will be one of your testers(hopefully) so I need to trust you before I hand over my phone to you for testing. What if my phone gets hard-bricked? Will you pay me 1000 bux for that?

Yeah its the most famous one. But has some minor bugs which are negligible .

the rom i make wont be bootable at the begining after around 10 to 15 testing it may boot.
so you shouldnt give up

Thats not a problem. But dont provide us with the whole rom everytime, small patches can work and when are you starting the work? You may need to get familiarized about our UNIQUE hardware

Graphic Designer requiere

As title says, SkyDragon is looking for a person with great graphic skills.
It s not important to know about development, we just need a person for different tasks related to rom.
We are not looking for banners, avatars or wallpaper makers this time.
It will be only png and relative work, not apk files involved

Grand is really a wonderful device with some reasonable Hardware specs and This is very popular device in India. But Regarding custom Roms, we got to wait for long time from only few developers.
I am not satisfied with the Roms that are roaming here. Almost same features.. ,?
^Just bloatware removed
^zip aligned...
These are all not great features..
Custom Rom means, at least we should have Custom Kernel, other device Ports(not small features, Full Ports, yes we have xperia z port,but nothing great),over clocks..
I am not saying we don't have MODS, Yes we have great developer balliboxer...thanks to him. He's the only one fighting for us.. This is the time ,we should step up and start developing ROMS.
Any comments regarding my dissatisfaction? I am not blaming.. we got to take our Grand Developing thread into world looking one.. :good:

1.we have unofficial cm 10.1 which most devices dont have luxury of having thanks to @pawitp
2.we have booting pacman rom thanks to @speedbot
3.we have booting and partially functioning aokp thanks to @k2wl
4.somebody is working on miui for long time
5 @@simplyaninis working on 4.3 as mentioned above
given all this its not fair to say theres no devolapement for this device
pls respect the devolapers..:angel:

Just bought Grand Duos 2 weeks before......I am really proud of it,
Answer for your question:.. I have not yet tried.. but I am going to do that. this is not just words.. I will let you know as soon as possible.

I respect developers. My OP does not mean that we dont have anything . Yes and we have it all in developing stage. What i am saying... compare to other devices.. we are bit slow.
My OP is about to encourage and motivate others and let the others know about where we are at the developing level.

Android 4.3 doesn't have any substantial improvement over 4.2.2 though,both functionality wise and performance wise. So not to much excited..

Just chatted with some Slimbean Devs on IRC
They first thought it was a exynos device
Then one of them googled it and found our is a broadcom one
The reply was
@dev1 According to Wikipedia its a broadcom device [MENTION=1151046]
dev2[/MENTION] If it was exynos then there was a slight chance but broadcom...
The stupid broadcom doesn't release it sources AFAIK

I am coming from galaxy y forum. There was great developments for that phone. CM,aokp, paranoid, everything were developed but none of them were perfect. Because it was broadcom, they refused to release source code.

This is the reason y we don't have much development for our device as the users comments r demotivated ,y not they see the features other than build.prop .Saying is just some words, if really wanna contribute towards Grand community just stepup and DO make some Rom's and mods .Not always make useless comments and thanks on other noobs comments .
