Question for flashable zip files in recovery.

Does anyone know how I would go about making a .zip file flashable in recovery?
I have boot animation file that was edited and when I try to flash it in recovery I get:
E:Wrong digest:
data/local/bootanimation.zip
E:Verification failed
Installation aborted

[Q] Need help PLEASE

I have unlocked my bootloader, rooted my device, and flashed CWM.
I am trying to install ICS slim 4.2 and I am getting the same error everytime I try to flash the zip file. It looks like this:
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device")
getprop(ro.build.product) endeavoru
error in sdcard/HOX4.2.zip
Status 7
install aborted
no files found.
I have followed all the steps provided on rom page.
Please can someone help me out?
Thanks

download the latest recovery http://download.clockworkmod.com/recoveries/recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.4.0-endeavoru.img
flash through fastboot. fastboot flash recovery, fastboot erase cache, fastboot flash boot boot.img than rom will work
or open the zip (the ROM)and navigate to META-INF\COM\GOOGLE\ANDROID and extract updater-script, open this up in notepad++ (Regular notepad wont do it, it breaks it) and removed the 3 assert lines.save it and replace that back into the same directory. It should work then

Converting *.img to ext4 failing...

Why can't sgs2toext4.jar convert system.img to ext4 image of ACE 2 Jelly Bean firmwares?
I first thought it was okay but mounting the image with DiskInternals LinuxReader gives files in wrong size.
I even checked the md5 hash with Odin and it's successful, with both NEE and DBT firmware.
The same process works for other devices firmware.
I tried both 7zip and WinRAR to unpack system.img from the tar archive.
The process gets in a loop

No MD5 file found error while flashing with TWRP !

Hello there...I have an issue with my htc m8...When I try to flash a firmware or a custom rom like Maximus HD rom..I always get that error : Failed : no md5 file found
I have a rooted device with s-off and twrp recovery
Any help ? Thanks
1. You cannot flash a firmware in TWRP recovery .. you need fastboot flash the firmware.zip in RUU mode
2. Disable md5 checking in TWRP so you won't have that md5 error when a zip has no md5

So all I have to do is ticking the "Skip MD5 verification of backup files " option ?
Is there any guide to how to flash unsigned firmware using fast boot in RUU mode ?
Thanks ?
1. Yes
2. Lazy to rewrite thing all over again ... you can find it on many threads ...
Here is what I wrote for different firmware but the basic is the same ...
