From previous, I found the cable is unorganized.
So, I made new one like this and keep cable under stand.

So my curiosity got to me. Someone had brought it to my attention that this cord was very long. Impressive. I had to compare.
Don't judge me. I'm very OCD about my hobbies. Wireless being one of them.
I'm a OEM type person. I prefer to go OEM over aftermarket.
My Samsung phones get charges on Samsung cables and chargers. HTC to HTC... You get it.
Back to don't judge me. I am very peculiar. Yes, the wall charger is not the original S III one, but I prefer them. I feel as if they are more modern. Then I have the OEM 1AMP chargers.
So I realized that some of the cables in some boxes and others are different.
I also found out that the phones after the original launch batch has "UPDATED" stickers on them. These can be found on the box and on the direct wrap on the phone. Does anyone know what was "UPDATED"? I can get a picture of this if needed. If you can post it, that would be great.
But here are pictures. I measured roughly 3'3" and 4'11" excluding the terminal / male parts. I feel like Samsung has pulled a quick one on me over these cables. I apologize that some of these images may be upside down. I was in a rush.
Now, I am wondering if I want all long cables, 4 short and 4 long or what. I figured it would be nice to have 1 short and 1 long for the car. I used a Belkin 1AMP dual usb charger. Probably 1 short one for my PC. Now I am just rambling. I guess I'm just weird like that.
i remember your old thread
i am not as ocd as you describe but this is bothering me too
the fact that they don't all come with identical accessories causes confusion and inequality?
if i had the short cord, i would want the long cord for regular use convenience.
if i had the long cord, i would want the shorter cord for tight space convenience (car).
what's up with this samsung?
so i made the mistake of forgetting to close my bedroom door behind me while i went to make a sandwich. during the 5 minutes i was gone, my cat came and demolished the usb cable that came with the phone. I liked that cable, and i was wondering if anyone knew where i could buy another OEM cable (or one thats just as long, works just as well, and fits in my phone case)
the main reason i need one though is because its the only one i have that fits in the usb while i have my case on it
Same here. The micro-USB cable I have doesn't work completely (it doesn't go in all the way I think.) So I have to position the phone in the right angle to connect it to my computer.
...
Check Amazon.com and get a wireless inductive charger with charging pad. They are around $35 for the set and then you don't have to worry about using the USB cable.
But then again you probably would need one for things like ADB and modding the phone so up to you but its an option.
I just ordered one myself and will be getting some extra charging pads for each of my work offices.
I've had excellent results with the cables from monoprice.com--almost all of the are $2 or less.
I ordered a half dozen of the "premium" ones with ferrite cores(for a buck thirty apiece) a few months back so I could have a spares at home, in the truck, at work, etc. etc. and I've had zero problems with any of them so far.
Hey my cat knows better.

What's a good charger to connect to the One without putting stress on the USB port?
It might be a silly question, but I have a Samsung GS2 right now with a totally broken USB port from very frequent connection/disconnection of the charger. It *probably* won't happen on my replacement phone, but just to be on the safe side I was looking for either wireless charging or a dock of some sort, for my next device.
A lot of phones are starting to support Qi charging out of the box, but I know that can't be done on the One thanks to the metal housing. The Xperia Z series has a nice solution with (waterproof!) external contact pads that attach to a magnetic cable or desktop dock.
Does anybody make something like this for the One? Even if it has to connect through USB (and it sounds like it does...) a good dock would make sure the USB plug connects squarely to the socket and would minimize any lateral stress on the port.
Great point, I've always came close to ruining my port and ended up melting an old one (on purpose) so that it was almost a fish hook going into the port with the cable going around the back.
The only thing the iPhone got right. The charge plug that snaps in good.

This is the perfect hub for those that just need a couple more ports.
When you open the compact packaging, you’ll find a "Happy; Not Happy" card, an instruction manual, and the hub itself wrapped in a white plastic.
First Impressions: Wow, this is really small and compact! You don't even need to plug it into the wall like other hubs. You simply plug it into your laptop or computer, and you’re ready to go! The first time I plugged it in, a “Generic Hub” driver was automatically installed. One thing The USB ports have been positioned perfectly! They can allow you to plug in those fat, round flash drives right next to the normal, skinny flash drives. The hub has four small grips at the bottom. The white and black colors along with the silver Anker logo compliment the hub very well! The whole is smooth and glossy. The built-in wire feels like it can withstand almost anything! It is very lightweight too.
When you plug it in, the green power light turns on, meaning that the hub is on. There is no off button, so the only way to turn it off would be to unplug it. That isn’t a huge problem since the hub does not draw very much power. Throughout my testing, the device worked flawlessly and with no problems whatsoever. I have noticed that the black part is a super glossy fingerprint magnet! When you plug in and remove USB’s, you tend to touch the black part, getting all of your grubby fingerprints on it, but I don’t see that as a huge problem. When I got curious, I plugged it into a wall adapter and started charging devices. I was amazed. I even plugged it into an external battery and it was working! Since I wasn’t sure if it was okay to do that, I asked whether it was okay and found out that the hub can only output 500mAh at the most. So it’s best to just use the hub as a data-transferring and managing tool.
I’ve kept this plugged into my laptop ever since I got it. It’s just so convenient to have all of my ports right next to the laptop. I don’t have to fumble around trying to find a port on my laptop. I can’t imagine unplugging it from my laptop now that I have become so accustomed to it. It really is a convenient thing to have!
Comparing this to other similar hubs out on the market, they just can’t compete with this one. Whether you’re looking at price or quality, Anker is victorious once again! Even the AmazonBasics 4 Port Hub (LINK REMOVED; AGAINST RULES) costs more than this and is nowhere close in quality. You can save a good amount of money buying the Anker hub and you can have a hub that is way better in both quality and performance. Also, you can’t plug in flash drives like this (LINK REMOVED; AGAINST RULES) side-by-side like you can on the Anker hub.
Overall, this hub is pretty amazing! The price, build, and quality is just off-the-charts amazing! Once again, Anker has created a great device that is both inexpensive and top-notch. This is best for those that always manage data on multiple devices or just someone who wants more ports. Or if you’re tired of always trying to find ports on your computer or laptop, this is a really nice thing to have. I highly recommend this!
I was provided a unit for testing purposes and I promised to provide a completely honest and fair review.
Unfortunately, I cannot post the link to this product on Amazon because posting commercial links is forbidden, but you can find it on Amazon by searching for the product's name that is in the title of this thread. Thanks!
First generic ones that can be applied to any phone:
1: USB charging cable. The OPO's stock cable is WAY too short for me so Im currently look for a additional one. My old HTC charger don't seem to charge as quick.
2: Car charger and charging cable. I would use the same cable (buy it twice) and I need a car charger. It needs to be able to feed the OnePlus One while in GPS mode
Now onto OnePlus One accessories:
1: GPS window car mount. There are a lot out there. Im looking for one that is easy to add and remove to the window, sturdy and I can put the phone in and out quickly. Must be compatible in both portrait and landscape and obviously it must be compatible with the car charger above so I can charge and GPS.

For a 10' cable, I bought this (purple, yes), comes in many colors: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JZHE3N4
Works really well for charging. Was recommended by someone else on the boards.
In the car I'm using this: http://www.scosche.com/usb-car-charger-dual-port with a stock cable.
Monoprice makes great cables, too, if you need one bigger.

Rip off of the centry?!?!
On eBay Its at 23.11 EUR and I still feel like it is a ripoff.
At this price, I would only buy one.
Alternatives?
StarTech.com sells one for about 11 euros...
The two things that most worry me are the cable and the dock. The charger is pretty much decided as I looked at revolt as well...
Still looking for car dock and cables...
I need a car mount, but I cannot stand how hideous they all look! Why can't we have a very clean car mount like the one that's built for the HTC HD2 or the Galaxy Nexus. See these pictures. This is what a car mount should look like. Nice and sleek!
