HTC TP2 - TMobile
WinMo 6.1 Prof
I was wondering if there was a registry tweek, or some software, something that would allow me to up the volumne of my device. If I plug in the mini usb headset, during phone conversations and watching movies everything is good. If I am not using a headset or using a third party headset during a phone conversation, I have a hard time hearing the person, especially in the car. Movies with third party headset (3 mm plug with mini usb adaptor) are also too low volumne.
Is there any way to pump up the volumne?
Someone had mentioneed increasing the HKEY_Current_User\Controlpanel\SoundCategories\InCall. number. Any thoughts?

What does the cab do? I assume it changes some registry setting. I always like to know what registry settings are getting changed.
THanks for the reply.
I have a evo running DC 3.5.
Just realized today that i spend probably 5-8 hours a day sitting in front of my desktop PC and its nice speakers playing music. Then it struck me, wouldnt it be nice if I could use bluetooth or even usb to connec the phone to the desktop so an incoming call would appear on my computer monitor and pause my music automatically?
Anyone know of a solution?
you want a2dp.... its been a while since i've dibbled and dabbled in a windows environment so i cant speak for windows, but otherwise...its kinda finicky right now and a toss up.... not sure why not a simplier solution.
Hi,
so I paired my WM7 with my Windows 7 notebook. What I get is a headphone connection so that I can use my notebook as a headphone for my mobile. Great, so now I can share one headset for my PC and my phone! However there's one glitch... The notebook accepts every call automatically and without any delay... Is there any way to control that? I just would like to have a green and red button to control my calls on my PC...
Hi @ all
I bought my nexus 2 days ago (to replace my lovely HTC HD2) and then i try to do everything i was able to do with my old fone.
One of my favorite use is to plug my fone to my car stereo USB and get my music from it
Indeed with my car stereo (and a little "joystick" near the wheel) i was able to navigate on my SD-Card Or nands.
Since my nexus all this become impossible... (My car stereo doesnt recognize the nexus).
After reading a lot of things, I understand why and it's seems there is a solution by create & mount a virtual SD-Card.
So if someone can show me where i can find this kind of application or perhaps a rom please it will be very helpfull...
Otherwise i'll change my fone or my car...
(I'm looking for something else : adjust color temp)
Thanks for your help.
Sorry for my bad english
Would it even theoretically be possible to send audio from my phone to my PC (to its speakers) via a bluetooth connection between the PC and Phone?
If so.... can we make it happen?
Yes i do it all the time, it's essentially the same process as pairing the phone up to Bluetooth headphones. Ofcourse the computer must be bt compatible. You have to add the phone as a Bluetooth device on the computer. Then pair them together, after any audio from phone should play. If found it takes a little longer to play using computer for example takes longer to start up and there is a little lag if i stop music on phone, it will stop 5 sec later on computer. So this would make a bad idea if trying to watch a video, words won't sync up with mouths.

Yeah, I'm just planning on doing music, thanks to my rig's speakers.
Anyways I paired the two devices, but I'm not exactly sure how to proceed from there (I've never actually used Bluetooth before lol).
My primary use is going to be Pandora, if that's important (no, I can't use the web version... my home internet is atrocious).
I've done this with my phone and a nice program from rocket fish that allows this. I but I always had a problem connecting etc. I found bt to be a big pain.

Yes- you can do it. It's multi step. I've stumbled on it when I tried to use my computer as a bluetooth headset for my phone.
What OS are you on?
if you're on windows 7, pair your phone and computer. Set your phone to discoverable under bluetooth's settingss and then add the device from windows.
After pairing, connect it.
You should be asked to enter a pin on your phone to trust it.
It differs a bit now depending on your sound settings in windows. See if your phone shows up under "my devices." if so right click on it and see your options.
If not, go into control panel and "sound" and see if you have any new devices.
Sorry I dont have more details- it differs greatly with each computer but it can be done. make sure you're paired, and then connected, and then trusted, and then see what you stumble across for your sound options.
I'm windows 8 rc right now =/
Yeah, W7....
I have already paired it, and yeah it was showing up in devices.
Bluetooth Services are:
OBEX Message Access
PandoraLink
SyncProxy
Nothing on either side looks to be ready for audio transfer though. :/
