I am running Thunderhawk III EI22. Yesterday my 3g stopped working. 4G still works.
That's odd. I've run Thunderhawk before and never had an issue with data.
Have u tried toggling airplane mode? Or simply rebooted the phone to see if that fixed it? You can also reflash Thunderhawk as well, maybe u had a bad flash.

Why'd you post in the apps section bud? You would had a ton more responses if you posted this in Q&A.

Starting today none of my notification sounds work. Not texts, email, etc. I even uninstalled handcent and installed go sms and nothing. When I try to pick a sound it just freezes. Ringdroid freezes when I hit the play button. If I try to change the sound through menu settings I get a settings force close.
I reinstalled the rom and kernel, fixed permissions, wiped caches and nothing. Other audio works.
I am running srf 1.2 with genocide 1.1 kernel.
Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Any ideas?

Did this happen after you installed the kernel or rom? If so that might be something to consider
Sent from my old but still kickin Epic 4g
Mine stopped working because I forgot to follow a step in the guide it was
" If you are not on an EC05 rom or SyndicateROM Frozen 1.0.1/1.0.2/1.1.0/1.1.1: Use Odinto flash the EC05 modem. UNCHECK EVERYTHING EXCEPT "AUTO REBOOT". Ensure you are on CWM3.1.0.1. Wipe data for best results, and flash the ROM. "
Hope it helps

Its either a Voodoo issue or something in the kernel. Rodderik is aware of the issue and looking into it. A simple reboot will fix it sometimes otherwise, ehat Shoulon said

I tired twilight kernel and installed voodoo from market and no help. The notification works once then stops. Ring droid does not work at all.
Any ideas?

I had this problem once SRF 1.1.1 when I was on it. I had to back up my SD card and format it on my PC; then copied all important files back to card.
I tried this and it did not help. No matter what kernel I use notifications and ring droid do not work

Is anyone having trouble creating contacts ?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Nope, not at all. What kind of problems are you having?
it says create contact at the top with a blank screen. then say Android.process.acore. has stopped

sounds like to me that a file didnt get pulled outta the zip right somewhere... rewipe and reflash again and see if that fixes it
I restored data and its working...i'm going to test it for a couple of days and see what happens...

4G is working fine for me on ACS ICS 4.0, great connection strength and speeds.
I'm running ACS ICS V4 with EI22 modem and 4G is not working for me either. 3G,Wifi, Bluetooth all work just 4G is lacking. Other the that this is a awsome rom.
Reading the dev forum it appears that anyone having this issue who does a full wipe including data and reflashing got the problem resolved.
I'll try that when i get home from work. ty
im on 4g while replying this... i have no issue with 4g. i did wipe data and cache 5 times before i.flashed the rom.

I thought I had a problem... my 4g was connected but my phone wasn't recgonizing it( says webpage not found, pandora not working etc..) but the 4g icon is idle (displaying "zzzz..."). This is with 3g and wifi off. This is after using starskyrom. For about 40 hrs. After restarting my phone it worked... I wonder if there is a bug with transitioning from 3g to 4g or wifi to 4g seemlessly... not sure but it seems ok now. Will keep looking out

4g nor GPS would work for me on ACS ICS 4.0, 3.5.
The GPS permission fix didnt work, neither did 3x wipe+reflash.
I had same issue with ERA Legendary ROM 4.0...not sure if its the kernel but my phone seems to only cooperate with RandomRom Thunderhawk 3.1 as far as EI22 is concerned.
Haven't changed anything other then a circle battery theme.... And now my 4G works flawlessly... But i know the theme had nothing to do with it.... Best rom ever now.

First off nice rom. I wish I had 4g in my area, it sucks that I'm paying for it and don't get it. One problem that I have is that it likes to duplicate widgets across different home screens. Battery life isn't the greatest, but not to much of a concern. When I use gps test plus I can't get any satellites.
So, here's why I ask this.
I updated to stock FC09 as soon as it was available. After a day I did the one mod that I can't live without, circular 1% battery using UOT kitchen. Ran the phone that way for a few days without issues. Then I started missing CRT-OFF. I edjumicated myself on how to edit the line of code to enable CRT-OFF by decompiling and editing the framework-res file and then flashed the modded file. All worked well for a few hours, then the phone started slowing down and getting choppy. Rebooting only helped for a short time, then the phone got laggy again. So, I went ahead and reflashed the original mod with only the battery mod (no CRT OFF), and I've been running the phone like that for several days now without a reboot and it's been super smooth.
So the question is;
Does the CRT animation slow down the phone or is it just a coincidence that my phone got laggy after I did the mod?
BTW, here's the link to the instructions I followed to create the modded framework:
http://www.freeyourandroid.com/guide/enable-crt-animation
I've done almost the same as you. I went from cm7 to stockFC09 and I've noticed some lagging with the whole rom in general. Even EL30 and FB15 worked better in my opinion. I even flashed stock FC09 on my cousins phone and his phone lags and freezes 10 times more than mine. So I kinda think there's something wrong with FC09 completely.

I think it is using themes and mode for el30 on a new rom that is not el30.

I think it is the Sprint Connections optimizer. I disabled it and my wifi doesn't error out or cause any freezes.

That may be it cuz at times (in my basment where I barely reach my wifi and have weak 4g) I turn on both wifi and 4g and I usually get freezes and reboots and the phone lags like hell. So I'm guessing your right in my case.

Not in my case. I'm on stock FC09 right now and it's about the same as EL30. It was only after I added CRT off that it got laggy and freezy. Uninstalling CRT off got rid of the lag for me.
So I wanted to flash the new jedi rom on my note2. I was running myrom. Through recovery I wiped the system and then I wiped cached. The usual. I have flashed many roms so I knew what I was doing.
So then I flashed the new jedi rom. And its wasnt working because this kept popping up without even letting me use the phone-> 'android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly'. And then I was like wth? I flashed back and recovered my previous rom and data and that rom worked just fine again.
So I did some reserch and I came across another forum that claims the fix is to flash SUPERWIPE. So I did so, then I flashed the jedirom again and it was working fine without any popups of any errors.
Then I noticed my wifi would not even turn on at all. I press the botton to turn on, and it says turning on, then it will go back to saying turn on, as if I never tried to turn it on at all. Please help guys as much as u can. Everything else works jist fine on my phone btw.

Its happening to me too. Except for the whole other problems. It happens randomly, not only wifi stays "turning on" my bluetooth doesnt work. This gets fixed over time idky but its really REALLY annoying.
Had that happen on my phone. Wifi and bluetooth wouldn't turn on. It would fix itself sometimes, but as soon as I leave a wifi area, it stops working even if I go to another wifi area. The only fix I know of is to do a warranty exchange. That's what I had to do.
My bluetooth isnt working as well! Wth x [ I need to fix this

It happened to me once before not to long ago and I returned it for an exchange. But a couple weeks ago I flashed a carbon nightly and the WiFi wouldn't toggle on again, flashed a different kernel and presto it was back.
Im not to knowledgeable with kernals in all honesty. Im very comfortable with pretty much anything else tbh. What kernal would you recommend for me? I guess ill try that, hopefully it would work for me

I used the xone kernel
So after the kernal flash the wifi and bluetooth fixed?

It might work, did the trick for me. If not I'd try a fresh install again or warranty exchange
