Hello...does anyone know where(directory) the stock alarm sounds are kept ?
I would like to either add other alarm sounds that actually would wake me up because the stock alarm sounds are rather mild and just not loud enough to wake me up...Or any other sagely advice is welcomed....
thank you....
They're in /system/media/

does anybody know if there is a mod that will wake the phone by the volume keys tested to work on our phone with out having to use "widget locker"
thanks in advance for any help
I know I have seen that on several roms I have flashed, but, i can't remember exactly which ones..
I think it is on roms that have the TSM Lockscreen Mod on them..
widgetlocker also allows this

I read widget locker doesnt wake samsug phones by the volume the reason im looking for this is because I had it on my inc2 running miui and I got use to it I feel lost with out it plus I like to use my power button the least possible

In WidgetLocker there is an option to disable stock lockscreen. That will cause volume buttons to wake phone up.
Widget locker definitely works, has option for during music only, also.
Stupidity has no cure. Read the directions. Try harder.

I read the same like I said I don't own widget locker it seems kind of of a waste to get widget locker since I'm not a widget lover just to use the volume wake

i found a better solution for anybody looking for this just install MILocker from the market is free which gives you a ton of different lockscreens from miui plus the wake phone by volume keys
https://market.android.com/details?...ult#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5taXVpLmhvbWUiXQ..
only thing is only a few of the locks are in full english so you would have to look for them which takes a little time but well worth it

i saw a thread about editing the xml files of each locker in MiLocker in order to get rid of the chinese. i honestly dont know when or where, but it IS here. so if you find one you just gotta have, you can always change it... lol...
My alarm app does not have the stock alarm sounds! only cyanogenmod sounds... I want the buzzer sound so I can wake up in the morning... Thanks in advance for your help
The alarm sounds are in /media/audio/alarms/. Once you find the sounds you want, just copy them there and you'll be able to select them.
Get alarm clock plus it allows you to use all your sounds and its a lot better than stock.

Have you looked at the Good Morning App on the market? Sounds or music and it has some pretty neat settings.

Download a ROM such as Calkulin's 3.0 GB from the development section. Open or unzip it on your PC, and navigate to system/media/audio/alarms. Then copy that to the /media/audio/alarms folder on your phone.
Anyone else's wallpaper change by its self over night?
every morning when i wake up its different
Your device is most likely cursed my dear friend i advise you better get in touch with an exorcist !
Ok more seriously are you sure it's not just some kind of live wallpaper with a really slow pace or special setting ?
nope? mine is the same, what rom are you using, any apps that might change it?
Zedge has a setting for automatically changing your wallpaper if you are using that app

If all else fails , make a fold on your SD-Card named ``Ringtones`` and copy some loud stuff there . Then when you select the ringtone it should be there
I know flasht my gio again with cm7.2 from marcin
Sound of all the notifactions R loud enough for me to here on my work now.
The only thing that does not work is the stk app.
It is there but it does nothing @ all. Maby someone know how to get it working????

Maybe the loudness is depending on the general one. Tried that?
