[Q] Text messages reception time

Hi !
When I want to know when a message was sent to me, I can only know when I received it.
How can I change that ? Is that a kernel issue ?
I'm using Handcent.

[Q] Delivery reports timestamp issue

Hi guys,
Am having an issue with delivery reports timestamp on the nexus. The problem is i don't get any actual delivered timestamp. So, say for example i send a text to somebody who has their phone turned off I will get the circle clock icon next to the message. When the person turns their phone on this will then go green indicating it has been delivered. The problem is I have no idea what time the message was delivered as the only timestamp it puts on it is the actual time I sent the message and not the delivery time. I have tried all the usual view report view message details etc. but none of them indicate the actual time the message was delivered. Am on 4.0.4 - it was the same on 4.0.2 and I have tried handsent or stock messaging app and its the same with both. Can anyone advise?
probably a stupid question but, did u activate the delivery reports in the sms app?
Yes everything seems to be the way it should be. I am actually getting the delivery reports - its just that they don't have a delivered time on them only a sent time

[Q] galaxy s3 JB SMS issue

Hey all. I am updated to the new JB update on my galaxy s3 i747 on SaskTel. And i have had a few issues with receiving sms. I am getting all my messages, but some received texts have the wrong time stamp and are ordered incorrectly. I sometimes ask a question, and when they reply to that question, it will appear before my sent text, with a time difference of a few minutes. Anyone know what could be causing this, or how i can fix it? it is rather annoying. thanks!
Same problem here. Same phone with Jelly Bean on SaskTel.
Example:
I send my brother asking a question. My brother replies but his message shows above my message, appearing like he sent his answer before I sent the question. Really frustrating.
Those time stamps are provided by the network, so there's not much you can do to address it.
My brother has a SGS2 on the same network and the same conversation is in order on his phone.
Sent from my SGH-I747M using xda premium
Just a thought - do you have the messaging app set to use sent timestamps or received timestamps? It's possible only one or the other of those is wrong.

[Q] SMS issue - not receiving until I send one out...?

Hello everyone,
I'm hopeful someone could shed some light on this situation I'm experiencing on my VZW GNex..
I've noticed recently that i only receive texts if I send one out... For example.... I'll go the majority of the day without getting a text, but the minute I send a text, I'll get a flurry of messages from different people at the same time.
Has anyone else experienced this ?? I don't have wifi on, I'm on stock 4.2.2, build JDQ39
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sms timestamp

Hi,
Does anyone have problems with timestamp?
Once i sent message it has no timestamp its just a "sent" note below.
The message with timestamp is the latest message only but the earlier messages have no timestamp from me, but have timestamp of their reply.
You have to wait few minuts (1-3min) before timestamp appear
