Miss s2 phone app feature

After using s2 for some time I really got used to searching for a contact on the dialpad in the phone app to call someone. ( call mom just hit 666 and all contacts with letters mom would show)
Anyone know of an app or port for the nexus?

you'll need the T9 dialler
you can grab another dialler app from the play store or you could flash any custom ROM (i recommend AOKP) for the ICS dialler with the T9 function

I use ex dialer its really good and it has that feature download free from market

Google Voice has an option to do that.

Is there a way to use visual voice mail with tmobile prepaid plan?

I'm thinking of switching to a prepaid plan but I heard that the visual voice mail won't be working,I checked a number of vvm apps at the play store and all of them mentioned that they won't work with any prepaid plan, any ideas?

try using Google voice. it's one of the best imo, free, and works with all android phones.

Has anyone noticed?

I read an article that we can forward our calls on the galaxy 3. I went to call settings and couldn't find that option there. Maybe its not available for the sprints version of the GS3. Boo!!!!

You can use star codes for conditional forwarding (*28, *73, *74) or unconditional forwarding (*72). I don't remember the details for each code, but I'm sure you can find it on Sprint's site.

I just use Google voice, I have my cell phone forward to my house phone, works great and no fee

Someone should slap you for even asking lol s voice is terrible! S voice doesn't work natively (since it is a touchwiz feature). To be honest, I would just use google now. Much more robust and easier to use. If you're dead set on s voice (why, why, why would be?!?!?), there was a modified s voice for any ics device and up that came out before the s3 was released. It's old, but if you eearch it, you'll find it That should work for you

I use maluuba its the best I have ever used. I just don't know if it works on aosp it does on tw. Try it out its in the Play Store
