does this happen to have the 160 character mms/sms cut off, or automatically turning it into multiple texts? i have a inverted mms now, and it doesn't have the 160 character setting, and causes me all kinds of issues...

It does have the setting. Can confirm it works.
Does this edit the launcher icon of the apps? Or is it just in app edits?

I flashed these and it nuked my Phone app. It doesn't show up in the apps list and clicking the dock icon gives an "App not installed" message.
I also tried unzipping and installing the apps individually, the messaging app works perfectly, but as soon as the people app is installed the Phone app takes a permanent vacation until i restore the stock people app with titanium.
I'm running beta0

... lesson learned don't flash stuff from the i9000 without it being ported.. also blacked out contacts have been reported to cause the phone to disappear.

Updated OP. I was able to successfully flash this in the early alpha builds without disabling the Phone.apk. Current builds always breaks Phone.apk. Sorry for the inconvenience.
It only breaks the phone app in Trebauchet and maybe Nova launchers. It works fine with ADW and Zeam launchers.

If it is still in you system directory I imagine it will show up in the app drawer again and be able to be dropped on the dock. Since Beta 1 is out, just flash that and you will get everything back. Then pull the contacts.apk out of this zip before flashing it. Gooch1025 has a new inverted contacts coming...hopefully today.

The people app could be part of it but not at this time due to errors when loaded on phone. Once there's a fix I will update it!

I had the same results. Tries to theme the people side of your blacked out dialer, and broke something. I am going to try my hand at it again this weekend, if there is success I will be sure to hit you up with it.

it's a smart dialer. say you enter "mom" on the keypad, it will pull up all contacts and numbers that are saved as mom or have the numbers 666. Mom = 666, on a dial pad - that explains everything.

I do have the free app Dialer2 on my phone that will do that if needed.
I am totally spoiled on Swipe now and its voice engine is superb. For my voice anyway.
If we are already on a rom can we just flash or do we have to flash in recovery before the rom boots?

Hey everybody, I liked the look of Touchwiz on this phone, just not the green. The idea and a lot of icons come from Bizdady's theme here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1814049. It adds inverted Playstore, inverted GoogleNow, and inverted Youtube. Both contain the the TouchWiz launcher that I modded to allow wallpaper scrolling, and the aosp gallery so that you can crop wallpapers to 1440x1280.
10/24 Update - LJ7 Base - Tweaked androidpolicy.jar to add reboot menu, tweaked mms so screen doesnt come on when you get a message, added aosp keyboard, maybe some other stuff I forgot.....pretty freaking sweet if you ask me. Links are at the bottom. ***Updated again - removed email....for some reason it doesnt work right when installed in the theme. I have it built into my rom and when I flash the rom it works fine, but fc's when installed in the theme.

I was having the same problem, so i just deleted both email and exchangeserver apks from the zip file, reflashed Blazer 1.7, and then reflahsed the new zip. All is good now.

If you want my email to work, flash my theme, then use root expolorer or something and delete the stock email app. I think its SecEmail.apk. I have everthing built into my rom, so Im not sure what gets replaced, duplicated, etc.....
This is exactly what I'm looking for but I'm getting "The file you requested was not found" on Goo. Any idea what's going on there?

Here is a new SystemUI to flash. I forgot to change the date to white on the one I uploaded after goo went down, so this fixes that, and changed the battery icons to a sense style blue. Im not doing the 1% icons because visually I like the text with the clean icons. You can flash the zip from recovery.

Dude, seem you're still new here Ok, use any root browsing capable File explorer like RootExplorer, download the apk from OP, copy to sd card, open RootExplorer, copy the SecMms.apk, navigate to preload > symlink > system > app > set permission to your old SecMms.apk > delete it > then paste the New SecMms.apk
i solved this lag without changing the mms app.. simply by enabling force gpu rendering on developer settings

BTW, the above mms app has background image fully transparent enabled =) the stock is 50 % transparent which is quite anonying when admiring the picture =p
I prefer this app also because bubble has no rounded corners and text is not so thick as in original app.

which one was a no go? hopefully you used the stock version. it should work on ALL ROMs and phones. the other 2 will of course not work on stock ROMs. AOSP only.

yes. for the mms borked one it is a separate app. you can run this app side by side with any messaging app on all ROMs.

Also I can't un install it either.. It installed as a hidden system app or something.. I can only disable it

Mms didn't seem to work. As was originally posted. However I came across this and it works fine. Mms is supported with no problems. It's pretty solid. Make sure you go into root explorer and back up your stock messaging app first, it's titled as "SecMms.apk"

Oops. I realized the color was off well after posting this. they are installed as system apps. Mms.apk just look in the system apps folder and you will find it.

This is a 4.4 CM11 MMS I themed up, I've tested this APK and everything is working perfectly on Kit Kat (including google edition) This will work on any 4.4 build for any phone so if you are coming to this post from another device this APK should work perfectly fine for you too

8sms is a ported official Google 4.3 apk this is 4.3 since kit kat has no longer mms apk since is now hangout. Cm 11 uses 4.3 but still great job I installed this over 8sms

It's not working for me :/
Edit: I figured what was wrong. Even though the permissions were set correctly, I also had to make sure the ownership was both set to root and then had to fix permissions.
At first, it was Rw--r----. I changed that to Rw--r--r and then went into ownership and made sure it said root, root. Fix permissions, reboot and done. Just letting anyone know how I did it so nobody got stumped like me.
