Hi Friends,

I tried in many gt-s5360 mobiles, all are workign in mono. But when i tried in a samsung s2 its working in stereo. If there is any patch to solve this issue , please help me. Even low range mobiles fm radio are working in stereo and i like to listen in stereo mode.

XDA2i Bluetooth voice dialing problem

Hi,
Newbie, just purchased an XDA2i with an O2 'blue' headset and I need some help in the voice dial area.
Turns out they are not compatible for one click voice dialing. Installed fonix VoiceDial 2.0 off the O2 installation CD but it will not activate from the Blue Headset Call button. In the XDA settings you can assign hardware buttons from the XDAii to start the voice dial feature but not from the headset pickup / make call button.
Any ideas if this can be resolved or if there is another voice dial software that can be activated to make a call by clicking the O2 blue headset? And/or another headset that works so I don't have to keep getting this thing out of my bag to make a call? - Would have thought this would have been a basic requirment of a phone/pda this size?
Cheers,
R
Same problem with Jabra BT250v
I have the same problem with my XDA IIi and Jabra BT250v headset. O2 Customer services are absolutely no help, they say "there is no headset available at the moment that will function properly with xda IIi". O2 Shops say all headsets will work but you need to buy one and then try", what does one believe and go to get help...........?

These PDA's dont support this functions, irrespective of where you buy it from. orange, voda, o2, t-mobile - they just can't do bluetooth voicedial. Naff but true.
Yes, strange but true, it seems the reason is that the xda series are pda's with phone capability, not phone with pda capability so they thought they would leave out that particular feature. Probably something to do with marketing but I cant see the logic of it for the life of me.

I have a O2 mini, and Sony BT Headset. I also have a disability and this 'non-feature' is more than just an 'annoyance' for me.
Calling out I can manage on the pda and the headset turns on automatically - though voice dial would be handy, it's the answering that I have trouble with.
Can you tell me, is the 'bit' that switches a incoming call to a BT headset part of the BT in MSWindows 2003se PPC software or part of the O2 firmware or part of hardware?
What does the answering? Could a utility be written that detects an incoming call and switch answer to a BT headset?

There are two known pocket pc phones that have bluetooth voice dialling; the Motorola MPX and the Eten M500. So its not a limitation of the OS, just short-sightedness of some app developers

Bluetooth range enhancers - is this possible?

Hi,
I have a SPV M5000, and I have just installed a software that allows me to send a receive messages throught bluetooth ( www.mobiluck.com ), but the bluetooth range is not the best.
Is there any way to enhance the bluetooth range?
Can anyone share some light about this?
I hope there is. My wife's got a Nokia and if we are in a busy shopping centre she can find over 100 people on bluetooth, whereas I'm lucky to find half a dozen!!
Sounds like you want a bluetooth repeater; unfortunately Google doesn't seem to find any for sale to the general public.

Motorola HT8200 Headsets

Hi
I have my Motorola HT8200 Bluetooth Headset working happily with my XDA Exec...but only for making/receiving calls. I wonder if any of you guys out there could advise me if it is possible to utilise them further and so I can listen to music through them via my XDA? I suspect I may need to download some software...for example music playing software that is Bluetooth compatible with my headset but so far my search has proved fruitless. So to surmise they do work fine for making/receiving calls but would love to listen to music with the Headset as well.
Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated in advance.

Upgrade your ROM to 2.24 or higher
The factory installed ROM doesn't have support for A2DP stereo. I upgraded and it works beautifully. I got an HT820 of a bad bunch from Hong Kong that skips/cuts out every 20 seconds average. Motorola replaced it. Here's a link to the ROM I used:

As I searched the net and red many forums, I think the profile which is set for the handfree is not suported by ipaq6955 .
is there any possibility to create a profile in Ipaq6955 manually to support that handfree or any other tricks ?
the handfree is so comfortable and if someone can help me , i really appriciate it .
can someone tell me if there is any way to upgrade the bluetooth stack or
add a profile to support the bluetooth handfree ?
Sincerely
