Good find, I will try it out today!

Tried it... not too thrilled
.....Clones & Drones.....

I just find the 3d vertical scroll speed and hw acceleration impressive. But that's it. One trick pony. If the dev updates and polishes a bit it will be worth keeping.

Yeah I've tried them both and the one you link to is a better version. Although I'm still biased towards SwiftKey

What makes this better? I haven't noticed any differences.

I actually prefer the nuance blue theme for thumb KB even though its nothing like the ics theme and doesn't have to do with the open but since you bring it up ;-)
There is also now a 3rd version in the market now by some other dude. I've tried the version in this thread and the version posted in the other. The only difference I see is this one has the themes enabled.

Official CM9 nightly

Androidpolice just posted that the Cyanogenmod team just released an official nightly build of CM9. I can't find it. Can anyone confirm?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
Just under a week after receiving almost unprecedented support from the Android community to fund the purchase of new build servers, the CM team has begun pumping out CM9 nightlies for a handful of devices. There’s no question – the CM team is moving quickly, and the release of so many nightlies in such a short time span is exciting, to say the least.
Koushik Dutta, in a Google+ post earlier this evening, expressed appreciation, confirming that CyanogenMod "was able to purchase 3 top of the line, ridiculously geared, build servers," which will soon have an automatic build schedule. Dutta also indicated that CM7 nightly builds will be up and running again soon.
Among the devices in the first round of CM9 nightlies are the Galaxy Nexus (both GSM and CDMA), Nexus S (GSM and CDMA), and Motorola Xoom (Wi-Fi and LTE). Dutta also explains that curious users can track build progress here.http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/0...e-for-galaxy-nexus-nexus-s-and-motorola-xoom/

No problemo!
Well, it's...sparse. There's a lot of placeholders for stuff. There's something called Galaxy Nexus Settings; like nothing in there except Gamma Control. There's a placeholder in the regular settings menu for themes...which is empty. No boot animation, no themes, no wallpapers. BUT...the ye ole toggle menu in the dropdown is back (but sans 4G, which I hope is later).
I'll be going through it a bit later on, time for bed now. So far no conflicts, no FCs, and since I'm cookin' w/ 1.5ghz of gas, it's really bloody fast.
Edit: found the 4g toggle!
Cyanogen site is down it seems.
Thanks for the link. Downloading now. Will report back with info. I'm always a lab rat with cyanogenmod.

Have you seen the Sony Ericsson Launcher? Its on the link below, but for some reason it does seem to fully work on our device. I would really love to see this fully functional on our device. How would one go about asking the Devs to work on this?

I like that sony launcher! Thanks!
I think its funny how ppl wt samsung phones want sont launchers and vice versa.
When I fist got the sgsII I was like man Touch wiz is awesome,I dont know what everyone is *****ing about, but now Im like Tw huh lol
But the T-989 no regrets here it will be a while "I think" before I'll be looking for a newer device. The note is nice but im 5'9" and 150 lbs it looks like I have a 10" tablet on my hip
Do any of those launchers support ICS style folders? I'm running ADW launcher mostly for that reason. I don't really use the fancy transitions and all of that.

I'll be honest I love the SGSII but I don't like tw, or gingerbread. Can't wait to get vanilla ICS. I was tempted to leave to the Nexus but I love design of the device way too much to leave.

I see your point. Might give it a spin. How does it compare to stock 4.2 keyboard?
It will take some time to get use to it, but swype still has a better word prediction.

does anyone have issues with swiftkey working upon rebooting your phone? it seems whenever i reboot my phone i can't use swiftkey, the keyboard shows up but pressing any letters won't do anything. when i check the languages it says there aren't any languages to download. i have to disable and then re enable swiftkey flow under the language options in order for it to work again.
No issues here working pretty smooth and quick
SwiftKey is the only keyboard is use so needless to say I'm excited to try this

Ya I like it alot. If u flash tho. Make sure u read whole OP. The OP actually got mad it seemed like. Cause a bunch of pple were basically demanding. He moddify there rom. For this mod. Ive got this to work on stock deoxed. May work on others. But more modified rom is, less likely it will work.
looks good, will try it out.
