Yepp, let me enlight you:
- Unless we don't have custom kernel with init.d support, init.d scripts are useless. However you can install these files to init.d folder, but will never run.
- SGY does not have touch key backlight so these are nonsense
Code:
# touch-key backlight-off
echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/button-backlight/brightness
chmod 444 /sys/class/leds/button-backlight/brightness
Nevertheless if you've experimenting with this values, and find them effective, it would be useful, when finally we have init.d support in our little Y.
(currently I'm working on init.d support hack for stock kernels, I'll let you know about the outcome)

Wow lower your brightness a bit
If you have it that high its expected that your battery will drop fast like hell
To see if they re working just check in your system/etc/init.d folder
You'll see 2 scripts in there

1. !!!MAKE A BACKUP!!!
2. Flash the kernel.
3. Wipe cache / Dalvik

This is a OC/UC/UV enabled kernel, build from TMO Samsung JB(4.1) Source. Am just learning the basics and this is my first job! Hope you like and enjoy!!
Note: My desire is stock reliability with oc/uc/uv benefits. This kernel wont have all the bells and whistles, my goal is a daily driver beast. Enjoy and hit thanks if you like!
Tested on: FrostyJB v9
Everything i tested work(i did used samsungs source...)

Doesn't remove KT's apps (but keeps the tweak so you don't have to re-flash full rom)

Fixed uv table
Added missing 192 step in some freq tables
v1.1
Added more UC steps (192, don't know how to limit cpu on bootup, adding 2.1 wont let me boot)
Insecure image
Added Governors (pegasusq, interactive, smartassv2...etc)
Added Schedulers (sio, vr)
Added read-ahead (1024kb)
GPU OC (480Mhz)
Higher L2 per freq step
Don't have to flash rom coming from KT's (djintrigue808 zip tweak)

Can't say I'm noticing any improvements, just installed it. But maybed it's too soon.
The only mod that ever done anything for me is Supercharger V6. Was a bit of a pain to set up but now I'm 100% supercharged, using Unledded 512HP balanced option and I'm in multi-tasking heaven.
Im testing this today, if it works good, Ill add it to my mod/tricks to reduce lag.

That Terminal method is just to check whether if it's working or not, you don't need to check it every time u restart your phone

I tried to check seeder using terminal but it says sh: seeder: not found, I am using the apk version and i'm not sure if terminal is compatible,
if it is compatible are there any other commands to check if seeder is doing what it's supposed to be doing.
I just did the above method and it works now, I suppose the apk doesn't install the same as the zip.
Thanks to the people who made my xperia s run smoother.

But well, I feel my phone a little bit smoother, maybe it is working LOL
I used the apk file and my data connection became terrible. It dropped out every minute... I removed the app and it's the same it was before. Might conflict with something...

AFAIK its may caused a confilct. First, x-burst tweak cant combined with v6,adrenaline, etc(check official thread). Second, this tweak have some combined tweak that has been added in x-burst such as ram script, deep sleeping tweak. Third, if you have been including x-burst to your rom you should not to adding crossbreeder again, because its has included in x-burst. cmiiw, just saying sir. i know u have a lot knowledge bout android than me hihi

Here is the guide made by Spizzy01: Download 'ES File Explorer' from the market to your phone. Extract the 'adreno_config.txt' from the ZIP in the original thread and copy it to your phone's SD card. Then use ES File Explorer to copy the adreno_config.txt to /data/local/tmp and then reboot.
The other files within the ZIP are only useful if you have Init.d support and flashed using the supplied ZIP as it creates a symlink to that temporary directory from /system/etc which is where the configuration file is normally stored.
Everyone needs to be aware - If you have any Init.d scripts that clear cache/temporary directories on boot then this mod will not work, as it will simply delete the config file the next time your phone boots.
The Screenshots are below, a user made it, it's somewhere about 400 higher than normal for gpu so it's good
Uhm, you forgot the thread-id in the link...

ty my rom is hard tweaked so maybe that's not why i don't fell a big performance boost
to check if the tweak work the bootanimation must lag alot

But then the "tweak" reduces the performance then? :silly:

yeah it can't be flashed via cwm, you need to move manually the script move the adreno_config.txt to system/etc and 93adreno to system/etc/int.d and set right permisions( rw-r--r--)
Uhh but the thread to what you linked said that it's only made for gingerbread

Everything is loaded into RAM...
It is essentially doing exactly what it normally does when rendering graphics. But instead, it is adding an extra step where it compresses the textures/graphics before loading them into RAM. This greatly increases the amount of textures you can load into RAM as the memory footprint of the textures is heavily reduced.
The fact that AdrenoBooster is the thing effecting the BootAnimation is only an assumption. Explained above is what it does, but it shouldn't decrease the performance of the BootAnimation to that extent. Or at all for that matter.
The Boot Animation runs perfectly fine on my phone.

I'd love to know why you are all unable to flash the ZIP...
And yes, this only works on Gingerbread currently. All information you need on the mod is in the first 3 posts of the original thread.
An ICS/JB alternative is in the works.

Senreo Kernel Tweaks For HTC 10 OREO | Battery FriendlyHello Guys. How Are You ? I am HTC 10 User and I use Android 8.0 OREO version. But Oreo have heating and battery drain problem with HTC 10 and all Devs left HTC. So I decided that make my own script. I've been working on this for 2 months and İ done finally. Please Read the installation carefully !!!!!
İnstallation ( My configuration ) {Magisk modules with compability v16.0}
1. İnstall ElementalX+FİOPS scheduler+FSYNC or Stock and Cleanslate Kernel. All of them working with script.
2. Delete Perf folder and powerhint.xml / pnp.xml file .PnP.xml deleting is important for applying values.
Perf > System/Vendor/etc.
PnP.xml > System/Vendor/etc
Powerhint.xml > System/Vendor/etc.
3.Tweaks have two type: No Input Boost and with Input Boost.
No Input Boost force the Little cluster to min frequency. So more battery but maybe some lags.
With Input Boost increase Little Cluster frequency to 422 MHZ when touch screen. So more smoother experience.
4. Use Stock Thermal Engine for best Battery life.
5. Open EX kernel manager and Block This Wakelocks:
ipa.ws
netlink.ws
netmng.wl
timerfd
Script Features
Disabled TouchBoost.
Enabled Workqueue Power Efficient.
GPU Governor: Simple Ondemand
CPU Governor: Interactive
Disabled Input Boost ( only No Input Boost version )

I'm not a Dev and I made script for me. But I want to share you
This is normally not the correct way, to use code of others in own work without asking beforehand. I just wanted to mention this. But, no, no worries, I'm not mad. I don't have this device anymore, so, well, do what you want to do, but just for the future, you know this now.

Now you have 2 choose: No Input Boost version and with Input Boost version. This 2 file is flashable with twrp and this files are magisk module. Choose one of them.
If you flashed script, download thermal engine file and copy system/vendor/etc. Done.
