Either twitter or facebook.
Says that login failed.
Anyone have success?

This has been discussed already on other threads.
Seems like a Samsung error.. ? This bug need addressed.

yea. same here, been trying all day
I know this has been an issue with facebook on other phones, can't speak for twitter. Apparently, if you add your current work info to your facebook account it'll fix it, but that's coming from a friend who had the issue on the evo 3d and it worked after she did that, so take this with a grain of salt. Good luck

Same issue here, cannot log into social hub.. but its OK FB apps is way better now, for twitter I always use tweetdeck.. any other advantages using S hub?
One solution I suggested in another forum that worked was to download the twitter and Facebook app from the market and login via those apps. Hope this works for some of you
I came to this forum hoping to find an answer for this issue and was so glad to see this thread and vindicate myself as being the issue. One would think that during the testing of the device on Sprint's network that they would have made sure that this actually worked before releasing it out in to the wild.
And hows pornhub on this device ?
Is it vivid, crisp... loading speed ?
This will be a huge game changer for my decision.

thanks for the heads up. its working!!!
Hi,
This might be a silly question...but the Social Hub which comes with the phone (I guess this is called the stock version) does it support IM clients?? (Gchat, yahoo, msn)
If there is an option how do i enable it...If i goto add account my only options are email (ms exchagne, others) and sns account (twitter, linkedn)
I don't see anything to get IM clients integrated with the social hub.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
It doesn't support IM clients. I personally use Trillian although others use something else. I like the fact that by using Trillian on my tablet, my phone and my notebook, I get the messages on all devices.
but website says it supports
h**p://socialhub.samsungmobile.com/user_main/user_im/
what am i missing?
bump
any1 please help? no1 knows?
I remember they announced some new integrated all-in-one messaging architecture at IFA (don't remember exactly now) but i don't think they've officially launched it yet. Think it's called ChatON.
I think it was coming to their BADA OS phones first before Android..

[Q] T-Mob Bloatware Removal

Anyone figure out how to remove the T-Mobile Hotspot app? I used Titanium to remove pretty much every other crApps but can't seem to isolate that stupid app. I'm rooted and waiting for more custom ROMs, but would love to get rid of the needless bloat in the meantime. Also... Is there any other hidden apps (Carrier IQ, etc) that I could remove? How do we do it?
Check the development section. It should solve your problem

Yep. I did. Didn't see it there after searching so figure I'd post the question here since it's not really development related.

Searched and searched but can't find a list of bloatware that are safe to uninstall using Titanium. If you happen to find one please share.
Thanks in advance.
Download and flash the ashman aroma installer by Mr robinson. It's a bloat remover tool. Last I checked it was in the themes and apps section

On a non-rooted phone, you can only disable from the Application Manager. To remove from your phone completely, you have to root it first.

but when I go to Setting->Application Manager->ChatON (as an example), I only see 2 options, Force stop and Uninstall updates. I did not see any disable option.
You have to uninstall updates before it will give you the option to disable.
Keep in mind not all system apps will have the option. But uninstall updates, and then see what it says.
check this thread for a more detailed list(also in the international forum)

I believe you have to be rooted
Does freezing with Titanium do the same as uninstalling? I'm afraid to uninstall, in case I need to go back to stock (I already deleted a couple apps, I want to be able to get my warranty if needed).
So has anyone removed the Hotspot app? I keep seeing run-arounds removing other bloatware (which does help!) but specifically, can the "T Mobile Hotspot" app be removed? What's it named and where's it located? It's the last piece of bloat I have.
Samsung backup provider
Samsung cloud data relay
Samsung cloud syncadapters
What exactly do these three items do? Can I still download movies like the Avengers? I am guessing these are similar to google backups for contacts/ calenders etc. I see them running all the time.
This works great. Used it on Wicked rom and on Domination V2.

Download Samsung SideSync 3.0

SideSync is a new PC-Mobile solution that enables the screens, windows and data to be shared easily between PC and Galaxy smartphone,
or between Galaxy Tab and Galaxy smartphone.
It works for me (I'm on windows 8.1 Update 1 on my PC and on Android 4.4.2 on my Galaxy S4 GT-I9505)
Download the PC app here (Direct Link):
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/c...ideSync_3.0.1.459_5_callForwarding_signed.exe
Phone APK (Mega Link):

More info on Samsung SideSync:

how do u use this it wont connect ?
Hey guys,
Concerning SideSync, I've found that the minimum requirement on smartphone side is Android 4.4, that's maybe it doesn't connect and moreover, it looks like a confirmation from Samsung that Kitkat is coming to GT-I9300 (the app being providen on samsung apps for the gt-i9300 makes it obvious )
The info on the sidesync site is here http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/convergence/sidesync/
Thanks.
I installed this app on my galaxy 3 and I get FC when I try to launch the app. BTW I am on omni .
Hi there,
I can see you have Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition),
can you tell me if it works with this tablet?
i can't download it on the play store, "not supported on my device"
Thanks

[Q] Favourite/Contacts Widget

Hi,
I am trying to find the favourite contacts widget on my S4 mini but can't seem to find it. Having read through the forums, it seems Samsung have dropped this handy widget from the S4 Mini in favour of individual contact widgets.
Does anyone know if its possible to use/port the widget from the S3 mini? If it is possible, does anyone know where it is available?
Or alternatively could someone recommend a suitable app from an App store?
Thanks for your help,
