hello guyz excuse me or being a noob !
So ... i tried to install the GummyNex for my samsung galaxy nexus, i made a recovery wiped all cash and data And system ( i don't know why ! )
then i pressed install from sd card , choosed the rom
then , booom !
error !
the rom isn't installed.
So i wanted to make a restore from the recovery but unfortunately i pressed reboot system now !
as there's no system, the phone stucked at Google's sign and no booting !
no recovery mode no nothing ! , what should i do :'(
Help me Please !
hmmm , well then sorry guyz problem solved !
Your okay,
Do a battery pull, then power the device on using volume down and power. This will take you to the boot loader.
Then using the volume keys highlight recovery and use the power button to select. Phone will the reboot in to recovery. From recovery either restore you backup or flash a rom.
The errors you got could be caused by 2 things.
*bad download, corrupted zips won't flash. Always check the md5 of your download, if you don't know how to, google it.
*you tried to flash a Rom not for your device. You need to remember that there are 2 version of the nexus, GSM & Cdma/lte. ROMs for one will not work on another, when you flash a rom the updater-script performs a model is check, if the device is incorrect you get a error in recovery.
Hope this is all it is and nothing serious

PLZ HELP!!!
If you can still start in Download mode (Home key + Volume Down key + Power key) or in Recovery mode (Home key + Power key) it's not hard-bricked so it can be revived.
Options to try: start in recovery and wipe data/factory reset (recommended when changing roms), reflash stock rom with odin and do same as above...
I dont know where to get stock rom?????
Search for a multifile ROM (for Gio) and flash it with ODIN

flash with odin.
I am Going to try it .... Lets hope evry thing goes alrite.........
I also bricked my phone 2days before and rcovered.dont worry.
You need to get odin flashable firmware files.
My suggesion is to google with your phones no like s5360
... Etc try googling PDA_S5560...DDK etc etc
They will be group of files with extension .tar and filename starts in my case with PDA_S5360....,MODEM_S 5360....,BOOT_S....
Etc. best luck

Hello and a sorry for my english
I've done something very very stupid. In the ROM Manager I choose, by mistake, in the Flash ClockworkMod Recovery a different phone than my one and then I push the Backup Current Rom option. In that moment my galaxy gio crashed... it is completely off, I ve try to push all the buttons it is really dead.
What can I do?
There is a very small space on the bottom of the phone where I can push with something to restart it?
Help please

Rom Manager author should really get those CWM recoverys out of that list ... lately a lot of ppl flash wrong CWM`s and brick their phones
No, u don`t have any "hidden button to reset it "
Try to get your battery out, leave it alone for 5 mins or so, and then put battery in and press Volume Down + Home button + power button same time and see if u can get to Downloading mode
If that works, try to flash a stock rom with Odin, there are some tutorials here use the search button
Rom managers recovery for Gio is outdated (4.X.X), better use recovery 5.X.X by Phiezx

im not sure but i remember on my g2x you could hook up phone from recovery mode and mount it on the computer with sd card .. have you looked around in CWM? This is your fault to be honest you deserve this for not making a NAND back up. ALWAys MAKE A BACK UP! period. There is a reason why devs and everyone else stress' it so much.
Sert00 is right. Flash any [previously] working ROM on it. It will be a dirty flash and some stuff won't work, but you'll be able to backup your data. You'll reflash again later

Unfortunately, at least with these beta realeases of JB, usb mount via recovery almost never work.
Try what sert00 told you.

Hello,
I have a very strange problem with my Note 2.... Yesterday i checked mails on my Note 2 when it suddenly shut down and rebooted.
First i didnt think it was a big issue but when it was on login screen where i have to enter my PIN i just touched the screen and it shut down again. Same thing happened again after that. Now it doesnt even boot up anymore... It just stays on Samsung bootscreen all the time. I can get into Download mode but not into recovery for some reason. I had no custom rom or anything else installed on my device. It was completely Stock.
I already tried flashing the firmware again via Odin but without any success....
Now i don't know what to do anymore and hope one of you guys can help me get back into my phone as i don't want to lose the data on it
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Try doing a data/factory reset and wipe cache in recovery, you`ll loose the data though. But it is the only way imo.

Then you have to take it to a samsung service center or the store for repair mate.
Anyone else with an Idea? What i also think is strange is that it says in Download mode that i downloaded 5 Custom Roms and my Current Binary and System Status are Custom???? I just installed the official firmware from SamMobile again -.-
Noone able to help me? I'm going insane at the moment cause nothing works.... Even when i plug in the usb cable the phone boots to the Galaxy Note 2 screen and nothing else happens.... In download modus it says i'm on a custom rom what i never installed to begin with....i only installed Stock Rom.... Please help what should i do T_T
So now i flashed the Rescue Rom but it did not change anything. Odin completed the flashing without errors though nothing changed. Also tried flashing Stock Firmware again but the status in download mode still shows custom system and binary.... Could it be that Odin is not flashing correctly though it is not giving me any errors?
I'm really desperate at the moment -.-
My galaxy s1 was bricked at one stage. I took the battery out and left it for am hour then I got it to boot into download mode. Are you putting the right rom on it? Like a whole factory rom?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
Yes already tried Stock Rom and also the rescue rom.... nothing changed
Can you flash CWM onto it? Then turn it off., hold down volume up, home and then power Tool you see Samsung logo?
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda app-developers app
Already tried root with CWM but it won't go into recovery either. I also tried flashing the rescue rom with Pit-File but it does not go further than bootscreen. At the moment i really don't know whats wrong with the phone and i'm a bit desperate right now....
Isn't there anybody who's able to help me with this, please?
regards limital

Hi TS,
U need to first let us know which variant of the note 2 u are using.
is u want to solve the bootloop issue,u need to follow these step as posted by someone here:
1. flash CWM using odin, then boot into CWM(power+vol up+that centre button) then wipe dalvik> cache partition > then data reset
2.DL sammy's official firmware for your note variant (7105 or 7100 or whatever)
3.flash sammy's firmware thru odin
4.let phone boot into android
then do whatever you need to do.
I had the same prob at you did, followed that guy's advice and not everything is back to factory and i can send it in for warranty.

To get in boot loader hold power and volume up until the screen goes off. Release them and quickly press and hold power and volume down until boot loader shows up. Then select recovery and press power. It should go into your custom recovery. You should download a Rom and put it on your sdcard then flash it through recovery.

In the future, there is normally no need to go into Advanced Wipemenu in TWRP. You will see on the main Wipe screen, it says the default wipe is data, cache and Dalvik is all that is usually needed. It says that for a reason!
If you do choose Advanced, double check before wiping, and only wipe if you know what the result is going to be! For instance, lots of folks wipe /system, than ask "why don't I have an OS now?"
No problem I'm glad I could help?

Setup not installed ? Please be clear. So, you got your lock screen, right ? And when you unlock it, nothing shows up ? At this, point, which rom did you flash ? Stock ? Custom ? Carrier Stock ? If its completely stock, try re-installing the rom again,by wiping the system partition in the twrp recovery. If the problem persists, try flashing a stock launcher like the S4 or S5, that are to be flashed from the recovery.

Sounds like the device is stuck in a boot loop.
Try reading this: ht tp://bit.ly/1p4eYFb (remove spaces)
and see if it helps.
Thanks for the term boot loop. As a newbie in this era , i was unfamiliar with this term. i'd read the mentioned link But i cant go to CWM recovery or i cant see he CWM mode .
Did you make a recovery by chance?
i'd installed ROM manager in this device after rooting. But i cant see any custom recovery modes.. What is mean by wiping cache , i'd done this in device but i dont know what is happening while im doing this, is there any sub category to post to get more reply? because i want to restore this device asap.
