N7000 / SGH-i717 dimensions for pro clip? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Does anyone know for certain if the AT&T physical form factor and dimensions will be identical to the international version? I'd like to get the ProClip hardwired mount and have it installed when the phone gets here . . . don't want to get it if the form is different, though. I e-mailed pro-clip a few weeks back and they told me to hold off to see if the LTE antenna changed the back cover at all. Thoughts?

I believe the antenna is in a different location. AT&T will be getting the same one Korea has, and to my knowledge, it's just the antenna.
I wouldn't be surprised if something else moved too (like the mic) which would be an issue.
I'll be getting one a couple days before the official release so I'll let everyone know and take some close ups of the mic positions

Telus t989d case compatibility??

Sorry if it has been asked, and I did a search to no avail. For those of you with the telus t989d version, do the t-mobile branded cases fit the telus version? I am trying to find out before I spend money on a case that doesn't end up fitting. Thanks for any input! Let me know if you have a favorite also! Need one quick so I don't ruin this awesome phone
yes the phones are identical in every way even ROMs
they only added the D at the end to know it's from Telus instead of Tmo

I think they don't fit. I know their was a thread, but I am not going to look for it on my phone. I think the speaker cut out and the 3.5 mm jack are on the opposite side on the telus version.I may be wrong though. I'm sure if you search more on desktop you will find it easy though.
There is enough hate in the world. Why can't we all get along here ...?
T-Mobile Galaxy S 2 Cases
Hi,
To answer your question, yes the T-mobile version of the phone and the Telus version are identical. If you buy a case specific for the T-Mobile version it will fit like a glove on the Telus version, cutouts and all.
I just purchased the Seidio Active Case yesterday, should be arriving in the mail soon. If you are looking for a high quality case, that provides great protection, you should check it out. comes with a built in kickstand as well.

You're thinking about the Skyrocket (AT&T and Rogers versions) cases, not the Telus and T-Mobile. They are the exact same hardware wise, except for the front faceplate is branded slightly differently.

[Q] cracked LCD replacement: Tegra3 vs North American compatibilityv

Unfortunately I dropped my international HoX last night and cracked the glass and damaged the display. I read somewhere that the international and north american versions use incompatible displays/digitizers, but I'm curious if that's truly the case.
There's somewhere in my city that does display/digitizer replacements while you wait for $180. I'd rather not have to send the phone to HTC and wait a couple weeks if I can help it.
Does anyone know the answer?
Thanks.
I just got mine repaired at Mission Repair . I have the international version, but their site listed simply the One X - and didn't distinguish between AT&T and the Tegra 3 version. My phone should be back tonight, so I haven't had a chance to try it out for myself, but the notes on the repair order said there were no problems and the phone worked great.

I've had it back for a little over a week and I'm not very satisfied. The screen is definitely not the original part and colors are washed out and its hard to read text in some apps. Also, they did a poor job at putting the screen into the unit and the sides are leaking light and sometimes it looks like the whole screen will fall out of the rest of the phone. I'm going to be contacting them shortly to see what they can do for me. At this point, I would not recommend their services.

Ya I checked that its same as my buddy note 2to same carrier. AT&T
Weird! I've been having the same issue lately.
In my case, cellular reception became spotty (completely losing connectivity in areas where I'd never previously had issues in my two years with this phone), and then cut out permanently after I dropped the phone fairly hard. I replaced the antenna (not an easy part to acquire, as I went through three ebay auctions before someone finally sold me the correct part) and it was spotty again for about a week before completely dying out again. I started using a backup phone out of frustration before finding another fully functional SGH-i317 for sale on the cheap, and I ended up combining the parts from the two to make a working phone. One day in, and the only issue is that the phone fails to regain cellular connectivity after leaving a dead zone (a few resets have so far done the trick)
Anyway, I'm far from an expert on this, but just to get the conversation going, here are some things I noticed:
Both my original Note II as well as the used one I purchased are 16 Gb SGH-i317 (AT&T GSM) models stamped N7105 under the Samsung sticker in the battery bay. Both used the OEM blue antenna wire (some Note II variants apparently use white wires of the same length), and the smaller boards at the bottoms of the phones which the antenna plugs into (with the charger port attached) are stamped SGH-i317 rev0.7 R.C94(KH) 25. The only difference I've noticed is that the new model is stamped "LTE #1" on the bezel underneath the motherboard whereas my old one was stamped with a different number (which of course I can't remember now that I've reassembled it)
Not sure if any of these weird little specifics will help anyone else who is having the issue, but I figured I'd put it out there just in case.
For the record, I'm in the same boat as OP after having reset/restored a few times. I also hadn't installed anything new/ominous or modified anything prior to the issue occurring originally.
Thank you.I also read in another thread that the modem drier may be corrupted. So the phone can not communicate width modem.

One other thing if there's a place you can take it to and have them check the sim tray?? Might be a possible fix??

I would flash the current AT&T modem, then use a few APN'S until you find the best for your area.
Iv been trying the different modems and apns.no luck so far.
Im going to do as Benjamin said and have sim slot checked.
Although it seem it is working because.it shows son when installed.
And nothing when out
You don't mention flashing any custom roms or updates, but assuming you have, the best way to troubleshoot your phone would be to return your phone all the way back to stock. This strategy has cured baseband, gps, headphone issues etc.
Lost Cell Signal after replacing charging port connector.
I have a SGH-i317 NOTE 2 and am experiencing the same issue after replacing the charging port connector.
does anyone know if the charging port connector is related to cell phone signal strength? After replacing this part, i cannot even get a signal indoors and only a weak signal outdoors.

One plus 3 Missing band 12

ok, I know google is my friend but its giving me a headache after countless hours of searching. Ill try to be as short as i can. I have a oneplus 3 that got water damaged. I purchased one with a screen damged off ebay. thought was to swap out the parts to make a good phone. All went well with the swap and powers up, however I am not able to get lte. i am on tmobile and get h+ but not lte. I took the phone back apart and checked to make sure everything is connected 3 times. I have went into *#*#4636#*#* changed it to lte only but get no signal, I also looked at the bands but there is no band 12. I have checked the apn setting to make sure they are correct. I have played with the engineering mode but still cant get anything to work. If anyone could point me in any direction It would be really really appreciated.
Ah. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do. I had followed old threads and even went as far as reprogramming the radio chip but it appears that the device does not have physical capabilities for Band 12. You are stuck on H+ on TMobile unless you get a new phone/a USA One Plus 3.

It is kind of hard to say as only 1 out of the 3 versions had band 12. The other 2 do not.

I would ask the person that sold it to you.

Flashing 6500 rom+radio to a 6200 phone

So this is my second 10 this month. Had to send the last one back as it was being sold as new but it was clearly used.
Anyway so I bought this hoping it was the 6500 us unlocked version. The back casing has the 6500 lettering and nothing else. All was good till i put my tmobile sim card in and can only get EDGE networks. Fiddled with apn settings but nada. Booted into download mode and behold this thing has a 6500 mid. Now Im not even sure this is new phone either. It is clean and in mint condition but the box it came in could fool anyone. The charger was all etched with crooked lettering and the box had a glued piece of textured paper for the top to miminc an oem box, unless htc also did this.
Anyways before i send this back is there anyway to check if this phone is an original 6500 that was simply flashed with 6200 mid/rom? Software number has a 401 regional code, china is 400 so it may be a modified chinese phone? Do you guys need any specific info?
If i were to keep it, will flashing a radio make it possible to get the missing lte bands people dont get when simply ruuing/ flashing a rom? Or will it always not recognize certain lte bands?
Also where can i buy a new 6500 us unlocked phone? Everyone seems to only sell international versions.
Any help would be appreciated
